When this first opened, the decor made me unsure but my wife and I like to try new local restaurants so gave it a go. We were really surprised and have been back regularly since. The pizzas are some of the best I've had. It's one of those places where you can eat a Margherita with no qualms. Dough is one of the best I've had and Tony always give a generous portion of toppings. Tried various pizzas and pastas and all have been very good. Garlic bread with cheese is a must-eat too if you like garlic. They also serve Italian meat platters, with some really nice meat etc. Worth a try. We've eaten inside with friends too and service is good. Tony and his wife are very friendly and clearly enjoy making sure people love their food. They've also dropped the price of their pizzas. Any pizza, any time is just 8 pounds, eat-in or takeaway (as of this review date Tony stated it was likely to be permanent). Totally would recommend

Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante, el servicio es realmente excelente aquí, el personal aquí realmente tiene una excelente hospitalidad y te hace sentir realmente atendido. Pedimos nuestra comida agua la boca Kuzi Lamb Shank. Y cuando estás sentado, ¡ya te dan tanto como un entrante que estás lleno al final de la comida! Venimos aquí regularmente y recomendamos a otros también. ¡No te decepcionará!

Good place to eat or take out in town centre. More of a fast food place. Food is good with a good selection of subs. I usually go in the evening and the staff are very good, polite, helpful and friendly.

This place was not like all the other chicken places around! It was clean and had a decent amount of seating and the chicken was fantastic. Unlike some of the other chicken places around here you didn't worry about getting food poisoning here :) The workers spoke great English which made it easy to order and were extremely friendly and helpful. Went through allergens and ingredients as my friend was on a pretty strict diet. They even brought over another item on the menu for us to try for the next time. It was sad we didn't find this place before since we are leaving tomorrow.

this is a great little place to visit if in the area. bbq food cooked by Adam, very friendly and inviting sit on the jetty and enjoy life going by with some great food.

I popped in to get lunch whilst working in the area. The vegan eggless mayo & cress was really nice but had I seen the calories in it, I may have passed! Way too much for a lunch time sandwich, plus crisp! Well it is Friday. Good range. Pleasant, fast and friendly service. Clean. Limited seating. More take away.

Perfect spot to grab a bite to eat and a coffee as either a break or before heading off for your day. Their almond croissant was the best that I have had.

Gimasen offers the best selection from a huge range of Filipino food and does them well. The food was deliciously authentic. The sweet and tangy bbq pork skewers and chicken wings, crispy lumpia spring rolls, longanisa pork balls, pansit noodles, and the infamous signature national dish, chicken adobo, were wonderfully presented on banana leaves, the portions were decent, came out relatively quick, and all tasted as good as home-cooked food. As a British-Filipino, I appreciate the labour of love that comes with cooking Filipino food, and am so happy that Gimasen proudly takes this on, leaving me to enjoy a tasty meal with my friends and family. We’ll definitely be coming back for Gimasen-more! Visit their stall during weekends at Croydon town centre, or first two first Saturday's of every month at The Cricketers Pub, Addiscombe Road.
