The best restaurants in Holloway Islington London

Como viajero vietnamita que visita Londres desde los Estados Unidos, tenía grandes expectativas para la cocina vietnamita aquí. Ya que había disfrutado de muchos excelentes platos del norte y sur de Vietnam en Chinatown hace unos días, estaba seguro de probar la comida vietnamita en cualquier restaurante. Sin embargo, esta experiencia fue terrible en términos de comida, ambiente y servicio. Pedí “Bún Bò Huế” (Vermicelli de arroz de estilo matiz) por £ 11. 50 , que tiene un precio razonable en comparación con Chinatown o Russell Square. Desafortunadamente, el plato era terrible. La sopa sabía a fideos de arroz chinos instantáneos en lugar de auténticos vermicelli vietnamitas. Recé silenciosamente para que nunca volviera a este lugar, ni siquiera si me ofrecían una comida gratis. ¡Qué pena!

Amazing Dim Sum. Especially the coriander one. Fresh, homemade and beautiful dim sum. Fantastic service too.

Great vibes but food is expensive for what it is, and the quality does not live up. We’ve been twice as we hoped we were just wrong the first time, however even with a change of menu we were underwhelmed the second time too. And for that price, you don’t want to be underwhelmed. Maybe stop there for a drink instead.

Its not so much the quality of the pizza thats a problem its the fact despite turning up at 5pm (is that an unreasonable time to eat?) there was no pizza left. I was offered some cheese, which was delicious! Maybe this should be a cheese restaurant? Waiting staff appeated to be under 10 so have reported to modern day slavery hotline

The meal was up to normal golden arches standards. the restaurant was very clean and the wifi strong. the coffee was acceptable. The staff were positive and helpful. what's not to like

Went to the theatre and just popped in for a quick drink and a bite before the show started. Nothing quick about it! There was a Christmas party or something as it was crazy busy with people who were on a tab. Anyway, I asked for 2 cocktails, they were doing 2 for one as it was happy hour. First it took ages for someone to actually look at me and get served, Im short but they could see me there! When a girl took my order she said ok hold on?!!? then another guy came and I told him I wanted the 2 cocktails and a pizza, he said ok hold on.... you need to order food from this girl... took AGES for her to come to me!! So frustrated! So when she finally came I said I have 15 minutes if I get a pizza will it come in the next 5-10 minutes so I can eat and go, otherwise I'll get chips. She said fine no problem. Ordered a pizza. the guy who took my cocktails order was off doing I dont know what, finally got my drinks (took about 30 minutes to get to this from the moment I walked in). Then he wanted to charge me full price... I said no, its happy hour - oh is it, he said! So i showed him the sign and the bit on the menu for the cocktails to show its part of it! ahhhhh anyway, finally paid and stood waiting for my food - oh yeah thats right the first person I asked about food they said 'well theres no seats, are you gonna eat standing?' really rude! Food came as the play started, I have never munched on anything like I did that pizza and carried the last could of pieces out. Annoyed!

En conjunto, este lugar parece la parte. Una gran mesa de pasteles surtidos te saluda al entrar. Y el Orange obligatoria máquina aprieta y máquina de café italiano da una sensación de confort de café. Pero este es el lugar donde la ilusión termina.
