I've been coming here since they opened and have been getting their takeaway afternoon tea since lockdown which has always been lovely. I have always received 4 slices for each of the sandwiches however I'm really disappointed that they have now cut the sandwiches to just 2 slices of each, so basically just 1 sandwich per person instead of 2. For £34.00 to collect, it's not really worth it now unfortunately. Also asked for no currents in the scones but received ones with them so they couldnt be eaten. Still tastes lovely though.
Went here for a sunday roast with the family as a treat. It was absolutely stunning. The staff are super friendly and it's a great atmosphere. They do a lovely margarita aswell.
We went for a large group meal. So I already lowered my expectations but we had already pre ordered our mains weeks in advance. The table was booked for 19:30. A sharing starter platter arrived about an hour later. (Drinks took 30mins to arrive)
The mains turned up after 10pm!
Then the “sharing platter of ice cream” turned up and we were just given a spoon to all eat off the same platter. Very unhygienic. The waitress had a poor attitude when I asked for a plate.
Yes most of the food was ok. But it was worth what we paid.
We ordered the Tuesday special but upsized to get the house specialties.
Food was excellent as was the service.
The waiter spent time explaining the menu ad offering suggestions and being a Tuesday and early in the evening the owner spent some time talking to us and giving a bit of history.
I highly recommend this as one of the best I have been to in quite a while.

I don’t know what the food is like but I don’t think the chef should use kitchen utensils to put oil in an Audi. Doesn’t seem good hygiene practice to me.
Ok a small little restaurant in the heart of Gidea Park, the food is lovely however I was disappointed on a few things things, the antipasti sharing plate was too small I believe it should have been on a bigger plate and not a side plate, I would like to see dips with the pizzas to dip the crust into. All in all a good place to eat with freshly prepared food.

We finally got round to trying the food here having been in for coffee many times. We enjoyed an excellent late lunch. Our pizza, curry and garlic bread were all so fresh and tasty and quickly served. More nice coffees rounded off an excellent meal. Highly recommended all round.
Juice box were the perfect addition to our catering offer at our fireworks event with over 5000 ticket holders. The quality of the drinks and good product was fantastic and we received lots of great feedback.
Disappointed.....
On arrival looked dirty, like a messy garden storage area.
In cafe staff chatty but hygiene was poor, girl with long dark hair standing behind counter with bright green/ yellow nail extensions was picking between her teeth and mouth then picking plates and using the till! Absolutely disgusting........
Really grubby low class feel to the place,
Ashame as good outdoor space when warm weather, but won't return.
Had afternoon tea with my family for my birthday! The food was delicious and well presented! Service was excellent! I have no complaints and look forward to visiting again in the future!
El Atlantis es una joya. Tuvimos un fantástico almuerzo. Hay un menú muy variado, las porciones son grandes y los precios son muy razonables. El personal también es genial.
