The best restaurants in Highgate Haringey London

Such a hidden gem in the centre of highgate. My family and I came on a Friday evening - we had our meal accompanied by live music, and the wine (so much choice!) and food was spot on. I'd recommend this authentic Italian haunt to all, just fantastic.

We had a focaccia from here, was amazing. Great value for money. Very polite and nice staff as well. Will definitely return, thank you!

Super service, Italian food and a knock out wine list which is really fairly priced. I'd certainly go back. Worth booking in advance.

Había un montón de comida para llevar de Indian chef. La comida es siempre caliente, con ricos, curry y fantásticos panes frescos y artículos diversos. El jalfrezi especial es una de las preferidas. Están dispuestos a atender sus peticiones (incluyendo dando a mi esposa algún Coriander cuando ella se acabaron), muy amable y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Es uno de los mejores curris que se pueden encontrar en norte de Londres, y a un precio donde podemos estar muy llenos por alrededor de £7.50 cada una.

Wow what a lovely surprise to see this lovely Deli when visiting London. Great atmosphere staff we're so inviting. And the food was amazing. Definitely be coming back on a regularly basis.

Muy sabroso, fresco y saludable. Ambiente acogedor, personal impresionante, precios razonables. He probado bastantes de sus platos hasta ahora y todos son muy agradables.

We popped in at 6.45pm last Sunday, 15 mins before closing, and were treated to three generous and delicious portions of shakshuka and lamb tagine, freshly made salad and rice, all to take away. Perfect, thanks so much!

I’ve learned my lesson: follow the restaurant critics and not social media! Perfectly pleasant, but nothing special. My roast chicken was dry—when I mentioned this to the server, he offered to bring me some extra gravy but didn’t seem particularly surprised. He also didn’t check in again to see if the gravy resolved the issue (it didn’t). Sticky toffee pudding was good. Wine list was very good.

We were looking for somewhere to host a baby shower without an excessive fee, and Nichola offered us the back room of the pub for free! Even though I'm sure she didn't have to. The space was huge, and perfect for a semi private gathering. Nichola was super helpful throughout the whole booking, and ensured we had an amazing day - the mum to be was over the moon! The Yard Sale pizza on offer was also fantastic. Outside of the private space the pub was lovely and open, bright, playing great music. Would come here for a drink any day if I lived closer! Would recommend to anyone. Thanks again Nichola!

We went for dinner on a Thursday night. We called to ask if we could go at 21:30. They said ok but flagged last orders were at 21:45 and they close at 22:00 (not sure how they could expect anyone ordering and eating in 15 minutes unless they have a bowl of lukewarm soup). We had ordered by 21:35 and left at 22:09. The speediest £100 they have ever seen. They made it clear from the start they didn’t want us there, obviously concerned about risking of closing a few minutes later than usual, despite accepting our reservation. The service was short and rude, but the cherry on the cake came when I asked to use the toilet and their answer was: sorry, no, we have just cleaned it! Never again.
