Muy sabroso, fresco y saludable. Ambiente acogedor, personal impresionante, precios razonables. He probado bastantes de sus platos hasta ahora y todos son muy agradables.

We had a focaccia from here, was amazing. Great value for money. Very polite and nice staff as well. Will definitely return, thank you!

Super service, Italian food and a knock out wine list which is really fairly priced. I'd certainly go back. Worth booking in advance.

Había un montón de comida para llevar de Indian chef. La comida es siempre caliente, con ricos, curry y fantásticos panes frescos y artículos diversos. El jalfrezi especial es una de las preferidas. Están dispuestos a atender sus peticiones (incluyendo dando a mi esposa algún Coriander cuando ella se acabaron), muy amable y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Es uno de los mejores curris que se pueden encontrar en norte de Londres, y a un precio donde podemos estar muy llenos por alrededor de £7.50 cada una.

Wow what a lovely surprise to see this lovely Deli when visiting London. Great atmosphere staff we're so inviting. And the food was amazing. Definitely be coming back on a regularly basis.

The food is freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. (It can take time to get an order for take-away so may be good to phone in your order ahead and collect). Delicious Japanese food and friendly service. Highly recommend!

🚇 Highgate 🍺 £6.60 Staropramen The Winchester is located on busy Archway Road in Highgate North London. The nearest Tube is Highgate, it’s a five minute walk to get here. Not to be confused with the pub from Shaun of the Dead, that Winchester was in New Cross and is sadly now flats. This pub was built in 1881 as the Winchester Tavern, and later became the Winchester Hall Hotel. The name derives from Winchester Hall, a nearby late 17th-century mansion. The Winchester closed in 2015 and under threat of being redeveloped into flats. Local residents resisted the developers and successfully applied for asset of community value (ACV) status. Thankfully the pub reopened in 2022 and is now run by the Northern Union Pub Company who have lovingly revived five pubs across North London. This is a stunning one bar pub which has a magnificent traditional interior. The servery is centrally located and has a gorgeous etched and cut glass-fronted bar back. The pub has two entrances, both of which have beautiful etched glass around them. The main bar area has a boarded and chequered tiled floor with plenty of traditional seating to perch on. Just off the main bar is a carpeted room with ornate woodwork and comfy banquettes. The beer selection is excellent, there is a broad range of beers from local London breweries, continental classics and a range of cask ales. I decided on a Staropramen, my pint was top drawer, price point was a little punchy. The food offering is pizza by @yardsalepizza , prices start from £10 for a 12” and £19 for 18”. I visited around 1pm on a sunny Friday lunchtime in August. The pub had a chilled and relaxed atmosphere with a couple of punters in attendance. The service was fantastic, I was served by the manager who was welcoming and personable. This pub is not just a pretty picture and hosts Jazz, Comedy, a Quiz, shows live footy and even has a Piano singalong. The @winchesterhighgate is an outstanding independent pub, I couldn’t fault it. We went for dinner on a Thursday night. We called to ask if we could go at 21:30. They said ok but flagged last orders were at 21:45 and they close at 22:00 (not sure how they could expect anyone ordering and eating in 15 minutes unless they have a bowl of lukewarm soup). We had ordered by 21:35 and left at 22:09. The speediest £100 they have ever seen. They made it clear from the start they didn’t want us there, obviously concerned about risking of closing a few minutes later than usual, despite accepting our reservation. The service was short and rude, but the cherry on the cake came when I asked to use the toilet and their answer was: sorry, no, we have just cleaned it! Never again.

We Visited twice actually, our first was a post rehearsal bite among cast members. Our experience the first time was so lovely we immediately planned to go again after our show which came in the next couple of days. Both our visits were lovely, we were treated with such kindness and respect and the owner had a such a way of connecting to us as customers which was thoroughly enjoyable. The environment, setting and food was lovely, pefect for a variety of occasions especially pre/post show at the theatre a minute walk down the road (so much so that we were compelled to visit twice in one week as the cast) Very accommodating and prompt service perfect for 1-6 people (possibly more).
