This place is really a lovely find in Highgate, and really looking forward to going there after lockdown to try the restaurant properly. Even in lockdown - really fast service and wonderful food to take away....

La comida en Il Peperoncino es auténtica italiana, ingredientes frescos, sabores increíbles y bebidas y postres típicos italianos. Definitivamente recomendaría visitar, definitivamente regresaré pronto.

This new pizza place is nearby our flat and it was such a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Opened right in the midst of lockdown, we started visiting and we have become loyal customers from day 1. Ever since, we have both being buying take-away pizza or stayed for dinner, and the pizza never disappointed. The 'pizzaiolo' is Italian, and you are guaranteed the final product is the real deal. The pizza selection on the menu is varied, but make sure to ask if there are specials on the day of your visit. The pizza is made with care, and the topping:sauce:mozzarella:base ratio are on point. We haven't ordered delivery pizza from any other place since we tried Il Peperoncino.

I have been 3 times for dinner at this restaurant and can highly recommend it! The Pizza is very tasty, and so are Antipasti and Pasta - absolutely delicious and you can tell that quality ingredients have been used. The Owner's and stuff are lovely, super friendly and make you feel welcome. Overall, one of my favourite restaurants in London.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is warm, familiar and lovely. The staff are amazingly kind and the food and wine are out of this world. Honestly, for me is one of the best pizza that I have ever eaten. I strongly recommend that if you like wine as I do to order a glass or a bottle of this incredible Spanish wine Valcanto. Also if you want to have a taste of the pizza that I ordered, it was 4 formaggi with salami picante. I am more than sure that you will enjoy eating at this Italian Restaurant. Enjoy!!

My partner and I came in without a reservation, having spotted this place pop up during lockdown, and had a great welcome and relaxing and delicious meal. It's easy to miss from outside, and with little spelling errors on the menu I'm ashamed to say I'd assumed it might not be up to much. I was totally wrong! The welcome was great (the waitress, who mentioned she'd only been there a couple of days, was excellent!) and the mains were really good - I had lasagna, my partner had gnocchi and we split garlic and mozzarella focaccia. The most special part was undoubtedly tiramisu for dessert, which was really excellent! Il Peperoncino has opened up at a really hard time for restaurants, but is doing great things and should be a really welcome neighbourhood restaurant - we definitely hope to visit again soon! Do look past the slight issues with branding and give it a go!

The lovely folks at Peperoncino are the best addition we’ve had to the the neighborhood since we have arrived here a couple years ago. Upon opening in the neighborhood in the middle of lockdown of 2020, our first experiences with them were with delicious takeaway pizzas. My wife is Italian, from Napoli to be exact, so the bar for great pizza is set high and Peperoncino very much hits that high mark for both of us! Great dough, quality ingredients, great equipment and excellent pizza chef! Now that the regulations have been easing, we’ve also had a chance to eat in with the more extended menu including the excellent desserts and look forward to doing so more often!

Arrived wet & bedraggled on a Saturday night to eat in. Pizza oven's contents smelt very tasty ordered stagioni pizza. I could smell it cooking & it didn't disappoint when it arrived. Hot melted cheese mushrooms & ham on a thin perfectly cooked base superb. Couldn't eat it all as wanted to try the homemade Tiramisu.... they put the remains of my pizza in a box. I sipped on my glass of red wine waiting in anticipation for my tiramisu. It did not disappoint smooth creamy with the lovely coffee flavour filtering through on every mouthful. Absolute bliss can't recommend enough easy to walk by but you will have missed an opportunity to dine the Italian way.

Il Peperoncino does the best pizza I have eaten in London, certainly the most authentic. The staff are really nice and the price is very good, especially given the quality of the ingredients. We have been a little starved of good places to eat in Highgate - this will now become our regular.
