We had a private hire of the tearoom for my dad’s 95th birthday and it was just amazing! The food was unbeatable and there was so much we couldn’t manage it all! The entire tearoom has so much memorabilia that would take days to fully appreciate. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful and really friendly. We had a wonderful time and I’d highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you so much for making my dad’s 95th birthday so special!

We went to Assos for a family event, we use it on a regular basis for birthdays, Sunday lunches and even Christmas. Although this was a Sunday lunch we didn't have a traditional roast. This is a Turkish family-owned restaurant so expect a wide variety of Mediterranean as well as British dishes. I had penne pasta with chicken and mushrooms in a sauce. There are large portions that are very filling so leave room for dessert. On drinks you can have beers, largers, or wines. I had the large white Pinot which lasted the whole meal. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I would recommend this for a family event or just a lunch for a couple. I know I will return soon.

I'm not one to complain about my meals from British Raj but I'm afraid to say that my meal from this restaurant tonight was the worst I have ever had, my chicken dhansak sauce was awful and I asked for bombay aloo with green chillies and I got potatoes in a tomato sauce with garlic which didn't taste very nice, I felt that the meal was cooked by not the regular chef so I shall sadly give the restaurant a miss for a while and hope that there is improvement before I order from them once more....I'm sorry British Raj but tonight you let me down.

We had afternoon tea ordered for collection on Mother’s Day including one for a child. The teas were superb and had sandwiches, scones, beautiful cakes, teas and cutlery. We chose this cafe as lots of people are offering afternoon teas on fb during lockdown but using cakes from supermarkets - I could make that myself! The cakes included cheesecake, Victoria sponge and cupcakes. Would definitely recommend.

met here just for coffee and a bite to eat on the way home today, staff always nice, food was good, why go anywhere else. once you have found a place where you enjoy the atmosphere, stick with it

Absolutely terrible. Waited an hour for half a portion of instant mash, undercooked broccoli and a pie. For £13. Asked the bar staff for a proper portion of mash, didn't see her again. 3 meals and drinks for over £50. Don't go and waste your money. Would have been better going to McDonald's.

The chips and gherkin were the only acceptable bit. Got my order home and the fish was so greasy the paper was soaked. The batter was soggy and pale. Over all, average to poor. I won't be coming back.

The food is amazing here we got the spring roll and chicken satay.curry also amazing.Thai sticky wings special fried rice, pad kimao beef. It was absolutely lovely. Will definitely come back...

Wrong order twice.... needed to request a refund as was unsure how my food would be after my complaint

First time we ordered from Unique Spice was because our usual didn't answer their phone, which is now their loss as we had our second delivery last night and Unique Spice is by far the best place to order your food from in Dartford, by a long shout. Both deliveries have been within 30 minutes, food is piping hot and full of flavour, I won't order from anywhere else from now on.
