First time trying this place after being recommended. I wasn't disappointed, fantastic food, great price and on time. These guys are bossin it!

Excellent service for me & my guests, there to celebrate my husbands special birthday. 23 of us had a great meal and no one was kept waiting for their food. It was a lovely friendly atmosphere.

I was turning 30 and I wanted to make it as memorable as possible . I wanted to do something that will be fun yet grown. I friend Bradley , recommended me Tranquil Turtle , he does lots of events so I trust his judgement . I visited the venue because and I had no idea of how such a hidden Gem it is . It’s so local to anywhere in Hertfordshire and also my friends from London could get there under an hour using public transport . The flowery theme was a breath of fresh air , the lighting at the bare , the garden space and the outdoor seating area with heating . There is so much about this place that made me think this is the right fit for my 30th I created a menu and me and other chefs did the food , they have a full kitchen with everything you need , including fridge space , hot plates . On the actual day , they have a full sound system with 4 channel dj set which made all 5 of the djs happy they all played their sets and everyone enjoyed . The staff were 10/10 every drink was made with attention to detail I don’t drink myself and they still made the mocktail with passion, they looked and tasted amazing , the manager was very accommodating, to the smallest details and happy to be flexible . I really loved the sparkles for the cakes, the bottles Everyone took lots of pictures , we had games like connect 4 in the garden area , we also had a photo booth The space was enough to accommodate all the elements that made my 30th so perfect All my friends could enjoy , had enough space to sit , to dance to have fun The private parking was also something that was so good . Overall I really enjoyed my 30th at Tranquil turtle, I would definitely do another celebration event here . The range of possibilities the venue has is endless . From the facilities in the kitchen , to the indoor seating areas . A full dance floor to dance . A full bar with ranges of drinks to the outdoor area enough for a bbq and also outdoor seating areas with heating , it was all amazing .

We ordered through Just Eat and found the prices quite expensive. We did not expect that choosing no sauce would mean nothing between bread and source. Would anyone want that... The next disappointment was that IMMEDIATELY we had placed the order we were texted to say that the order was delayed and would take almost twice the agreed time. You must have known before we placed the order. When it did eventually come there was an additional second pizza that we were not expecting, perhaps by way of appology. The pizza was OK, even without the sauce. We also had a couple of kebabs that we did order and were well received. Perhaps reduce the price and keep to the agreed time.

Great pub amazing staff, all sorts of music made me feel very welcome.all over great pub to drink in . Younge to old. Sam your doing an amazing job.
