We didn't eat but the service & quality of beer, what more can we say… Excellent!

A useful pub at the intersection of several public footpaths, this pub has good food and atmosphere. Popular with walkers; plenty of parking and a good selection of ales on tap.

Everything a village pub should be, great staff and regulars, fantastic atmosphere, excellent drinks and food.

Was very comfortable and good service but I’m dropping 2 stars because the bacon roll was toasted which is not my thing (or many people’s I suspect - a toasted bacon roll is not really a nice surprise)

Absolutely love the Potting Shed!! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food is always yummy and good value with generous portions. The specials menu changes regularly and often reflects seasonal produce so if you are a regular visitor (like me!) then you have new options to choose from. On this visit, we had a black bean salad with halloumi and a chicken tikka burger. Both were delicious!! I also like to spend some time having a look around the lovely garden centre afterwards too :)

Love The Potting Shed. Great atmosphere, venue and food is great and staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Leyla served us today and has served us several times before. She is a great member of the team, very friendly and always makes you feel very welcome and special and observing her so is like this with everyone. Great place .

BEST PLACE EVER!!!! It’s the only take away I’ll ever go to. Have come here multiple times and will never stop coming here! Best Palek paneer and egg fried rice. AND ITS ALL SO CHEAP!!!! I visited this, being my local store, early the other morning and I was shocked to see the owner and his wife not wearing any face coverings what so ever despite there being a sign clearly displayed on the entrance window saying face coverings must be worn by law when entering these premises.. I felt scared and vulnerable , there wasn’t even a Perspex protection shield for me as a customer at the till. How can this be safe ? I find this disgusting that somebody in this position is flaunting the law and potentially being a super spreader.

The first time I have tried take-away from here and it was AMAZING. The best Chinese I’ve had in a long time, I will definitely go there again! The food tasted so fresh and has put a big smile on my face.

Lovely food and was so happy to have crispy lamb and pancakes no other Chinese does this. First time here will definitely be back.

Beautiful setting, terrible service. After waiting for 10 minutes with the waitress walking past us numerous times we assumed that you had to order inside. We were told table service only. Another 10 minutes went by and we flagged the waitress down to order coffees. She kept on serving other tables and came back to us after a little while to take our order, which we had already given her. At that point we got up and left. Very disappointing.
