Great local village pub with all the local village characters you could imagine. Not eaten there yet under the new management but everything else is great. Warm welcome, plenty of parking, beer garden, good selection of drinks and always a laugh.

Rarely have I found such a jem of an Inn. My family and I stayed here at the end of October, and we could not have asked for more. The country pub and restaurant were both warm and inviting with lovely character. The food was delicious and the staff were accommodating. Our room was comfortable and spacious. I don't know if it had been recently refurbished but it looked as though it might be as it was spotless. As good as the room and food was they almost pale in comparison to the staff, and one in particular, Natalie, who could not have done more for us.

Over the last 20 years, this takeaway has declined steeply after changing hands several times. Tonight’s chicken sweet and sour chicken, and pineapple fritters had very raw dough, and had a tough texture, as though kept warm, or reheated. Won’t return.
