The best restaurants in Hedingham and Maplestead Braintree East of England

Lovely country Pub and small hotel with excellent facilities . Diana was a superb host . Rooms are in different English styles and with tea/coffee, safe and fridge . Dinner and breakfast we re on the adjoining pub which is part of the same complex and food was plentiful and good . Happy to recommend for a country stay .

Visited for a family meal. Haven't been to this pub for years. New team, great food, good value and lovely staff. Worth a visit.

Just been ripped off for collection price of take away. Current menu shows 10% off for collection. They do not honour this discount. Staff attitude when queried this is abysmal.
