Great little cafe on a great campsite, Good food, very clean, and friendly staff,warm welcome will definately be eating there again

Unbelievable service!!! As well as looking after the family and our Cockapoo, as they always do today, for Sunday lunch. The owner went way above and beyond by sending a colleague out to get a bottle of Irish whiskey for me, that they had run out of. Don’t have enough words on here to recommend The Plough and it’s owners enough.

Perfect place for a wonderful meal experience. Service and food were 100% and I will stay in a room next time I visit.

Shh you MUST NOT tell anyone. We detour by 50miles on our way to Kent from The North, 😁. Why?? Who else does a " Perfect" Ginger sponge pudding. Been visiting here for mmm a few years, never ever let down. Except? The owners have to temerity to have a holiday in January and closes. Mm 😊😊. Staff keep house but are not allowed to serve food. Forget stupid Mitchellin food guide. Good food comes from a passion to deliver a meal perfectly. This is a food lovers heven. Sheila

Recommended to eat here by a friend. Fantastic steak pie, perfectly cooked chips and delicious home-made roasted red pepper and tomato soup. Could only drop in for a quick lunch this time but will definitely return to sample the rest of the menu. The deserts look divine. Warm friendly service.
