Fabulous, local and friendly restaurant serving tasty food.

Set in the heart of a pretty village, close to amenities and the countryside. This little barn is perfect for a short stay. The property was immaculately clean with everything you could need. The hosts too were helpful, warm and friendly.

Visité el café ayer por la mañana para desayunar. Saludo muy amable por parte del personal servicial. Tuve su desayuno completo y té. El servicio fue rápido y amigable. Realmente disfruté la comida y tuve una segunda ronda de té. Este café es exactamente lo que debes esperar. Un buen café honesto. No dudaría en volver.

Gutted, heard so many good things about this place so decided to try it. Ordered two large cod and the batter was barely cooked, very doughy and we ended up throwing it away in the fear of eating raw flour. Might have just been a bad batch but felt like we wasted 40 quid

The staff are cool and always smiling. I am very happy with them, especially the patties as they are warm 😂😂😂

Great pizza and really friendly staff

Got a takeaway food yesterday and it was delicious. I hope the portions were larger, especially the rice that came with the grills was very little (we had to get food somewhere else after couple of hours). Also, usually the takeaway food should be packed in aluminium containers and not a plastic ones because of obvious reasons and food health and safety.

Pete and his family are always so friendly and the food is good.

My husband and I went for an afternoon tea. A treat from family for our golden anniversary. What a beautiful place. The setting and surroundings are quintessentially English. The afternoon tea was absolutely superb. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Would definitely go again and would recommend it to anyone.
