The best restaurants in Mountsorrel Charnwood East Midlands

Really nice place although I was put off straight away after reading that tips should be paid for in advance! I was always led to believe that tips are given after a good service by the waiting staff has been provided? The breakfast was very nice although I found the whole thing way too salty, even seeing the chunky crystals of salt on the hash brown, (they were big Crystals!) my friend also couldn’t eat the homemade beans as there was too much pepper in them for her. I thought it was just me being fussy but I had to drink several glasses of water throughout the day, so I know it wasn’t me! Parking is very difficult if you are coming from a different village. It was a pleasant place and we don’t mind paying that bit extra for good quality but it seems they are trying too hard. Speaking of hard, I would suggest getting some seat cushions for the hard seats as we all said the same thing about the seats, a bit too hard after half an hour! Sorry but we won’t be returning. I didn’t “leave a review while doing a poo” either, not the best sign to look at when you visit the bathroom! Sorry to be a boring middle aged person!

What a lovely chippy this is... we have been here twice now and both times the food was fantastic... the first time we took the food home and the second time we ate in the restaurant. Try this place it won't disappoint and this is coming from a hard to please professional food critic.

Consistently excellent - wouldn’t use anywhere else. Easily best Indian takeaway we’ve tried.
