Food was absolutely amazing, best Turkish food I have ever had. Very friendly staff and great service. Would definitely come again.

Good for the gluten free vegetarian. (Didn’t ask about gluten free pittas). I had steak. Excellent. Very large portions do watch out.

Awful and overpriced. Service abysmal. The head waiter was patronising, dictated that he would only do one bill and not allow people to pay individually. The meat on the mixed grill tasted old and not fresh. The salad made up with a large proportion of onion. Rice was separately priced and a tiny portion. Non alcoholic drinks came to £17 for two drinks. If the reviews here are genuine then this restaurant should not be here. Colleagues also complained of head waiters attitude who told patrons who spent time berating my party as if we were thick. We were all professionals at someone’s last day and also well versed in culinary cuisine. The only positive was it an ok setting but I could get better in better brassieres and a higher quality/standard than offered at this restaurant. Don’t go there.

A perfect evening from a warm welcome when we arrived to great food and puddings. We were there for an early evening meal and the staff were very friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the flatbread starters with amazing tasty dips to start with. We both opted for a steak which was cooked beautifully followed by Baclava for pudding which was very yummy. We enjoyed a good bottle of red wine with this meal and it cost under £100, which we feel was very good value

I can say that it is the best restaurant in the region. so clean . food quality is high. Attentive and friendly service. Thank you for doing this job seriously and with love.

I don't know what has changed? As The previous comments are all great?? Well that certainly wasn't the case for the 4 of us!! Food was below average and the service was abysmal. We wasn't the only ones, the table behind us of about 10 people were not happy either.. one comment they made to us was " where has this restaurant got it stars from"?? The Matre de was stressed and running around like headless, the starters not good, they then turned up with our main meal with the starter plates still on our table!! At which point the server looked around not knowing what to do.. They then placed our meals on the empty tables next to us, while they cleared them away. Three of the main meals ( burgers) were dry, that much so they stuck to the roof of your mouth. We did complain to the headless man, who in turn told a man at the till, who turned round and just carried on doing whatever he was doing??? never came over to talk to us.. the table behind also complained as we were leaving!! Maybe a bad night??

Absolutely stunning restaurant and bar. Fantastic service, staff could not do enough for you. Beautiful food and cocktails. Lovely big table by the window. Definitely my go to place in Stratford now for a great meal and drinks!

Below average food. Meals came out at separate times. Not GF friendly, the menu states Lamb shank is gluten free but they couldn’t offer me the mash as it had flour in it ? Who puts flour in mash ? Ended up ordering something else which was not worth £22! Spoons would have been nicer! The waitress was nice and so was the wine !

Absolutely fabulous place! Really stylish bar and restaurant. Food was amazing, squid starter and much shish for mains. Beautiful cocktails and lovely wine. Good price. The staff were superb. This will be my go to place now in Stratford, will definitely be back. Great bar for cocktails after work.

We booked for 35 people to eat in order to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant were very accommodating, and took into consideration that there were quite a lot of children and arranged the tables to suit our requirements, the waiting staff were excellent, helpful and friendly, and they organised the orders very well. The food was very good we there were no complaints from any of the diners I would most definitely recommend ZuZu and am looking forward to visiting again soon

Six of us went to Zulu last night before going to see ABBA Voyage. Not a great experience. There were two empty tables for 6 which they refused to give us, saying they were booked and that we had to have the table next to the front door as we’d only booked on the day. We hadn’t, we booked weeks ago. The table they made us take was next to the front door which didn’t close properly. The door opened maybe 30 times in a 2.5 hour period and every time it blew in the cold. One of our friends had to get up and close it more than once. They ran out of cold peroni on an early Saturday night (5.15pm) so we had to have another beer whilst they put more in the fridge. The staff brought a wrong drinks order and another time forgot a drink. The waitress bashed into one of our chairs and didn’t apologise. A shame as the food was pretty good but expensive at £100 per head for a starter and main and 3 drinks each. The two ‘reserved’ tables of 6 were still empty when we left 2.5 hours later.

Went for lunch, set lunch menu wasn’t available on Saturday so we ordered from main menu. Food was delicious and very generous portions. Staff were all very friendly and helped us choose dishes. Lovely modern decor. Would recommend.

All I can really say is food, wine and service absolutely excellent. The 2 guys serving were extremely polite and efficient. It really was a quite perfect meal.
