Absolutely lovely. They squeezed us in on a busy Friday evening and we enjoyed a 'tapas' of delicious dishes in a lively but not noisy atmosphere. Thank you all.

A must go! The service and staff cater for any needs. The staff are super friendly and happy to help. They recommended some delicious dishes and drinks to me because i couldn't make my mind up. The service is extremely quick you hardly have to wait. It is absolutely amazing. Whether you are going alone or with a large group you are sure to have the best of times. I am gluten free and yet they provided a large array of delicious gluten free dishes. I totally recommend going and hope to go again myself. Tabby age 11.

They squeezed us in on a busy Saturday with no booking. Service was faultless and the food, as usual, was beautiful and tasty. The wine also was very good. This restaurant is a little gem. It was great to see it so busy. Price-wise it is very competitive compared to the competition in Parson's Street. We will definitely be back soon.

Oh my goodness, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. My husband ordered bibimbap and the waitress came and asked if he knew how to prepare it and when he said no she did it for him and talked him through what she was doing. Very kind and chatty staff, we didn't book but they fitted us in despite being quite busy and a small place. We will definitely be coming back, thank you!

We have visited by chance as my husband fancied a Ramen! It's a lovely small restaurant in the centre of Banbury. Food and presentation are excellent There is a wide variety of dishes to choose from I have a gluten and diary allergy and the restaurant Manager provides advice on dishes and ensured my food was safe to eat. I have had a stir fry and it was delicious Great value and experience in overall.

Nine of us booked our annual group meal here and staff really cared about our experience. They took the trouble to ensure they knew our order in advance so that it was served promptly on arrival. They were efficient but friendly, attentive but not pushy. On a Thursday night there were enough customers to add to the friendly atmosphere without crowding this small restaurant, which is simple but stylish and comfortable. We each chose a main dish and shared several side dishes from all parts of the menu, which was varied but not overwhelming. Those of us new to Japanese and Korean food and those more experienced appreciated the quality. I chose from the wide selection of vegan options. I liked the pumpkin katsu and would have appreciated even more sauce. The salad dressing was a pleasant surprise. The miso was the best I've had, and the vegan rolls excellent with a lovely seaweed taste. Three of my friends also chose from the small menu of mainly European style sweets. Averaging £26 per head including drinks and some sweets, quality was comparable with more expensive Japanese restaurants. Great value for money. I hope to visit again.

The food was delicious. The staff attentive and the atmosphere relaxed. I enjoyed a Korean dish which was wonderfully spiced and served in a piping hot dish. My wife enjoyed salmon also beautifully prepared.

We went here for our wedding anniversary dinner and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and the service was the best I've ever had. We had a lovely girl Asher serve us and she was a superstar, brilliant at her job! Highly reccomend!!

First time visit to Zushi and will definitely be going back. Went with friends, wife and children and all had great meals. Service was excellent and friendly. I had the Salt & Pepper Chicken and the Beef Dolsot Bibimbap and would highly recommend. Kids loved the Katsu curry. A great meal 👌

Zushi has a comprehensive Japanese menu with a couple of dishes also from Korea. I decided to have a beef Dolsot Bibimbap, a sizzling hot stone pot also containing rice and vegetables and Gochujang chilli paste. I felt the meal although hot in temperature, this wasn't reflected in the taste. I was concerned that ingredients seemed to be sticking to the side of the pot, so tried to eat fairly quickly, so as not to have to scrape from the sides, which meant I really had to eat the food whilst it was too hot. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Tuesday night, which is a good sign.

We've been multiple times and always had great food. This time we had 2 types of uramaki, deep fried squid and Korean chicken which were all very tasty. Service is friendly and efficient

Visited Zushi for my Mother In Laws Birthday for lunch. We ordered a variety of meals and there wasn't any dish that we didn't like. Service was excellent and I would highly recommend this restaurant will definitely return.

Certainly one of my favourite restaurants in Banbury. The restaurant is always full, good atmosphere and the staff are attentive. The food is exquisite, from the hot dishes such as the noddles to the beautifully made sushi, you really can’t have a bad meal here. The tables can feel a little tight as they are obviously trying to reach as many people as possible due to the popularity and often when you book you only have a select amount of time for the table however don’t let this put you off as the food is worth it!

As usual the food, staff, and atmosphere were fantastic. I have never been disappointed with a visit to zushi definitely one of the best places to eat in Banbury, if not the best!

Banbury was a convenient stop during our journey on Christmas Eve which was my husband's 70th birthday - this hidden gem suited us down to the ground and very much reminded us of our wonderful trip to Japan some years ago. Can't wait to go back.

Would definitely recommend. Food was very tasty, I was with a party of five and everyone throughly enjoyed themselves. Service was quite slow, given this was a Thursday evening. Besides this it was a very nice meal.

Visited during lunchtime as a solo diner. Both ladies were extremely polite and attentive. Brilliant ambience and good drink selection. The Green Tea was lovely. There was a wide selection of food and enjoyed one of their bento boxes, which I would deffo order again. Looking forward to dining here of an evening.

My first review of Zushi was in 2016, seems so long ago but every time we visit the food is delicious and beautifully presented, we are always welcomed warmly , definitely highly recommend for a lovely evening out

We decided to come here after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We had a chicken skewers, beef ramen and a chicken stir fry noodles and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was prompt, polite and efficient and we would come again....

Zushi is the #1 restaurant in Banbury, hands down. Not too expensive for how amazing the sushi is - and the variety of dishes they offer…it’s not just sushi, also ramen, donburi etc. I’ve eaten many a time and have never had a bad experience....

We didn’t book but it’s best to as it’s a busy little place. We had to wait 10 mins for a table but they were very accommodating. The service and food was fantastic and I highly recommend.

My partner often frowned when I suggested Japanese in the past. He is now a convert - the age dashi tofu was delicious, as was the chicken teriyaki and the temaki rare beef (pity not wagyu) was to die for. We are from London and wish we could take this little gem back with us. Thank you.

We've been to the restaurant and loved it but this evening we ordered takeaway and it was delicious! It was presented beautifully too, I wasn't expecting that for a home delivery. Every piece of the meal was fresh and full of flavour, there was an egg in one dish and it was perfectly cooked even after being delivered. We can't wait to order from here again!

We’ve been coming here for a while. We don’t have it all the time as it’s not the cheapest take away but it’s our absolute favourite. My husband wasn’t sure about it initially, I think the word ‘zushi’ might put some people off but you don’t have to have fish/raw fish . The food is sooooo tasty and so fresh!The delivery service is also top notch. The times we’ve had delivery, they’ve told us up to 50/60 minutes and it’s arrived within 20-30 mins.

Try the if you want a break from Thai or Chinese, the sticky chicken starter, and then Sushi was amazing. Pleb choice of Katsu Chicken Curry was probably not the best thing I could have eaten there, I should have been braver. We had 3 savoury courses each and beers for just under £30 a head on Sunday night. Would do again. The presentation and taste of the sushi was superb. Lovely waiting staff.

Saturday night you expect to have to give a little leeway re service but it was appalling. No advice on what menu items to have with any of the meals to make a complete first time Japanese dining experience. Extremely long time for service to table and when the appetisers did arrive only 3 of the four arrived on time and they were all cold. When the 4th arrived some 25 minutes later it naturally was piping hot.Zushi were unable to deliver a whole sitting for 4 people in one go with yet another main meal not only forgotten but delivered 15 minutes after the rest of us had almost finished our meals. That does not include the forgotten rice side dish with another of the main meals.Avoid at all costs - very expensive for small portion sizes which is not explained as part of the whole eating experience - and while the serving staff are apologetic it is not acceptable to be treated like this.

Order from here regularly and normally the food and service is great. Tonight we ordered a delivery. Their website states 30-45 minutes delivery time. After an hour we called to be told they were waiting for a driver. Another half an hour passed. A further phone call made to be told they were to busy to cook our food. Poor communication and a Saturday evening ruined. We certainly wont be returning customers any longer. No apology or empathy to the situation caused.

Food was great as always, but popped in to collect as takeaway and waited ~45mins past the collection time, the people next to me had been waiting longer. Please improve this/stop it happening again, we've had takeaway delivered before and has always been on time so not sure what went wrong tonight.

Main food well cooked but on a bed of raw cabbage, waitress not really on case ,polite but more interested in talking to each other .For a Japanese aesthetic experience the delivery during lunch was shocking and cold.The management has taken its eye off the restaurant..I spent £20 without drinks for lunch.It needs a pulling up of socks

We visit Zushi so often that I was shocked to realised that we have never written a review, so I am righting that wrong!The food, service and atmosphere at Zushi are absolutely great, beautifully presented and always really tasty. For those who think that a Japanese restaurant will only be serving sushi, where Zushi is concerned, this is absolutely not the case. The variety is fantastic and even includes some Korean dishes that sit comfortably in the overall menu (Bibimbap and Bulgogi are highly recommended). The biggest challenge at Zushi is trying to choose between ordering firm favourites (Gyoza, Salt and Pepper Chicken, Beef Tan Tan Noodle Raman and Chicken Katsu Curry being high up on the list) and trying something new!!!The owners and staff at Zushi have created something great! Highly recommended.

Forget the Sushi if you are a first timer at Japanese food. I would advise a Terriyaki dish for first timers. Give it a go, it does not disappoint.

Visited with friends for a leaving meal. It's not a very large restaurant so our group of 15 was split across 2 separate tables. The food was very nice, authentically Japanese. As with many restaurants of this type, it's a little pricey, but good for a special occasion.

An, Asian joint , not knowing quite the crowd it is aiming for. Ironic, given the limited menu (normally page after page). A mixed sort of affair. Lacking quality or a wish to create good food Poor but not terrible.

The variety on the menu is welcome, but results in (good) problems making a selection. Nice to see some Korean options on the menu too. I was originally going to go for one of the lunchtime Bento Boxes, which appear to be good value for money. However, I chose a few favourites off the menu - Miso Soup, a Chicken Katsu Salad and some Inari (Tofu) Pockets. All very good. The Miso was refreshing - excellent.

A small restaurant serving a wide range of Japanese and Korean food. We’ve eaten here several times and every dish has been well cooked and delicious. We particularly like the squid and prawn dishes. The waiting staff are attentive and very polite.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The people saying the food is expensive, need to bear in mind sushi is always highly priced. The food is amazing, we order from here on a daily basis. I would put it up there with my favourite sushi restaurants. I actually rate their salmon sashmi, higher than Soho Farmhouse.

We had lunch. My 10yo had a bento box and my 13yo had the udon soup. I tried the Beef Bibimbop. All meals were excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food came out less than 10 minutes from ordering. The restaurant was clean and welcoming.

Lovely Authentic Food, Calamari was fried to perfection. The staff were very pleasant & I believe it is very reasonably priced. Incredibly filling aswell compared to other Asian restaurants.

The food is OK, better if you eat in but if you have a takeaway it really can be quite bland. I tried the takeaway service again as I thought I would try different dishes that travelled better and the website happily took my money then told me it would be delivered two days later as they had closed the kitchens early, these things happen and it's annoying but not the end of the world.. I then received a phone call the following day long after they had closed for lunch and while I was cooking dinner from them asking if I wanted the food now, of course I didn't and I explained why (again as I had emailed them and told them I wouldn't be home much) and asked for a refund to have to go through my whereabouts again. I remained polite and explained that maybe they should fix their website because people can be very upset when their money is taken for no goods and or services to which the guy told me it was my fault for not being a better customer and knowing their opening times off by heart. The best part is he told me they close at half past nine and even their own listing here says they close at ten. I am really hoping I get my refund but am not holding my breath.

Went here for a night out with my wife. Food was varied and well prepared. Also had some Korean dishes within the menu. We tried the Dolsot Bibimbap which was superb. They even had some great desserts which you don’t always get with this type of restaurant. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend for a night out.

The only negative against this restaurant is that it isn’t open on a Monday evening! So we had to go around the corner for something else!

We, 5 of us, arrived early Saturday evening as a walk in. The staff greeted us and fitted us in, despite us not having a booking.

I have eaten at Zushi a number of time and every time the food has been amazing and the service has always been exceptional.

We love this place, we have been here many times and have always enjoyed the food and the service by the lovely ladies working there. 100% go and eat at Zushi 😘😘😘
