Food pretty bland. Especially disappointing given the price.

This was incredible, tasty food. We ordered vegan bao buns, tofu katsu curry, chicken skewers, avocado maki rolls and chicken baos. Amazingly they managed to please an 82 year old finicky vegetarian woman, a fairly no nonsense 78 year old Bury man, and me, a vegan who eats anything non-animal. This never happens, so thank you, Zumuku!

I absolutely love this place. Never have a bad meal, everything tastes so fresh and it’s so wonderful to have sushi on our doorstep in Rammy. Special shout out to the Chicken Chahan, so tasty.

Bang out of order. Missing off the most exepnsive item then not open to take my call. Left a voicemail and submitted refund request. 40 quid out of pocket and still don't have a meal. Very disappointed.

Fantastic food! Delicious - can’t wait to order again. We received a complimentary double portion of miso soup (had ordered a single portion) with a note on the receipt as a welcome for being a new customer :)

Brilliant flavour and presentation! The Katsu curry was perfect, the portions were great and the delivery time was spot on!

I really enjoyed the food here and the portion sizes were great, very affordable. You can take your own alcohol too, which they keep cool for you. The staff were really attentive as well.

Ordered from here a few times both me and my mum really enjoy but recently not been up to scratch it seems the quality is slowly decreasing. Food has been cold, tasteless edamame not salty nor crunchy. Dissapointing as I do love this place.

got less broth than last time. the big crab part that sticks out was missing from the spider sushi this time. apart from that great

Absolutely brilliant find. We spotted the place from outside and were impressed by the modern decor, looked upmarket and inviting. A lovely warm welcome, the team couldn’t have been more helpful. They have a really reasonably priced lunch menu, but we opted for what we fancied. The food was excellent, authentic, super fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back.

Never been before so thought we’d give it a go. Really good food. Loads of veggie and vegan choice and plenty of the usual fish and meat dishes. Lots of choice. They staff were really friendly and helpful. All tasted delicious. Will be going back. Something different for Rammy.

Excellent food, great staff. All food, very authentic, fresh, and delicious! BYOD, so need to be aware of this beforehand, but they are great at ensuring your topped up with your own drink throughout the meal!

Everything was incredible, from the food to the staff and to the atmosphere. We treated ourselves to a feast of food, including chilli chicken noodles, ramen and a literal boat load of sushi. Everything was cooked and served to perfection. The main member of staff, was unbelievably welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back!

What a gem! Food was absolutely amazing. So tasty! We had the Salmon Teriyaki and it was incredible. There is also a great lunch deal (we visited on a Saturday) with a smaller plate. Highly recommend if you’re after amazing food and lovely staff.

Absolutely excellent sushi every single time. We have been here about 5 times now and this is the first time back since reopening and it’s still just as superior quality as before. The sushi is the same standard as sushi in Japan and can’t be beaten by anywhere else I’ve had sushi in the UK. For people complaining about price - this is not Tesco meal deal sushi. You are paying for high quality ingredients and fish and chefs with specialised sushi skills do not come cheap! If you want cheap sushi go get it from asda.

My friends and I were so happy Zumuku had reopened we booked straight away to go (I also got takeaway from there the Friday before but that’s a secret). The food was as amazing as always and the service was brilliant. Such a good atmosphere in the restaurant too! Can’t wait to go back again!

So glad that this place is back open in Ramsbottom. We attended their first night of opening on the 24th Aug and it was fantastic. They were very tentative, even though it is currently still BYO our glass was always refilled. The food was brilliant and can’t wait to return. A lovely set of people who I hope this time round are here to stay.

Booked a table a few days in advance for last night (Wednesday 1st Feb) but when we turned up the place was shut but the 'Open' signs were still on the door? I rang 4 times but there was no answer. I later found out that they put on their story that the Ramsbottom shop was shut due to 'technical issues', I don't have social media so how would I have known?! My name and number was taken with my booking but I didn't receive a call to let me know that my booking couldn't go ahead which is just rude, especially as I'm not local and drove 40 minutes to get there. We then had to wander the streets in search of somewhere to eat and we stumbled on Kimji Korean which was lovely! I'd go there instead if you're looking for somewhere to eat in Ramsbottom.

Possibly the worst meal we have had in a long time! Where do we start?! We arrived at the restaurant and were shown to our table. The restaurant had no other diners but lots of people standing near the kitchen waiting for takeaway orders which was directly behind us (the restaurant is tiny) It was very cold inside the restaurant and we had to keep our coats on throughout. The waitress tried to take our drinks order before I had sat down or we had even looked at the drinks menu. Before we ordered we were notified they had no beef at all and a few other things from the menu were missing. We ordered our food and drinks together. My partner ordered a simple Americano with skimmed milk but the waitress had to come back three times asking (Do you want the milk in it, do you want the milk on the side, oh sorry we don't actually have any skimmed milk) We ordered two items from the small plate menu and specifically asked for it to come with our main meals. (The waitress said don't worry it all comes together anyway) Well guess what...they came before any of the main food arrived. The miso soup was so over salty it was inedible. Two main courses arrived around 15 minutes later but we were still missing the other 2 main courses. We waited another 10 minutes and I had to go over to the kitchen to ask where the rest of our food was. Eventually over 20 minutes after receiving the first 2 courses we had all our food. Sadly the rest of the food was cold by this point. We complained to the waitress and she sent the manager over who offered a discount and free desserts. The food was mediocre at best and nobody finished their plate. Not cheap either! We declined the free desserts as it was only mochi and we were cold and unhappy. I also note the toilets were very dark and quite scruffy and strangely enough there is a camera inside?! To summarise I cannot say one good thing about this restaurant and will certainly never come back!

Highly recommended the sushi tacos, they were amazing. Love the atmosphere here, will definitely be going again :)

Food is ok but arrives as and when the chef makes in. Claimed to be 'tapas' style yet one small plate at a time? We visited on a Saturday and there were 2 trainee staff. Orders were missed and drinks forgotten though the main waitress apologised and offered a complimentary side dish. Having spent time in.Japan, in my opinion its japanese style and certainly not Japanese in feel or execution. Though.i suppose it is just a franchised chain. Food portions were small, expensive and nothing to really rave about. We had a selection to get the best variety but the neither the sushi nor nigiri were any better than anything you could get.from any other retailer. I wouldn't visit this particular one but may try a larger site and re review.

Just excellent. Outstanding quality and service of authentic Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended. Nothing else to say.

Wasn't so happy!!! the staff member who was meant to serve us, thought we were delivered drivers and asked us to stand aside along with other delivery drivers due to our skin colour. I found it utterly shocking, this is tantamount to RACISM. Your staff need to remove that stereotypical perception of people of colour. Especially the oriental looking male member of staff who served other customers who came after us - telling us to move aside with the delivery drivers - so he could serve the caucasian customers. Pathetic and should he ashamed of himself.

Lovely, excelant and astonishing meals, had a lovely time here and very well worth the try, prices are about right and the food is excelant, a must for sushi lovers.

Good, varied selection on the menu, sashimi was extremely fresh, sushi platters, beef teriyaki and seafood noodle were delicious and reasonably priced. Service was prompt, quick and friendly. Will definitely come back!

Really excellent food, very tasty beautifully presented and with a great choice available. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, very much looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.

Tried this new restaurant one evening, no booking but they found us a table which was great as the place is quite small. There was no alcohol licence so you can bring your own - we forgot but I had a very nice huge pot of jasmine tea. I started with sushi which came perfectly made and tasty. We also shared a plate of deep fried calamari which was really delicious. We both had teriyaki, me a salmon and my husband had beef. This was quite nice, had to ask for pickled pink ginger which had been missed off. We finished with ice cream which was fine. Had a lovely meal and will definitely return to try other dishes from the menu.

Beautiful inside and out, the food was and is tge best meal Ive eaten. Everything from the curry to the walls was amazing aswell as the amazing service!!

Had takeaway here - great sushi and non sushi options, good veggie options, all food delicious. 1 item missing initially but staff noticed nearly immediately and was quickly righted. Staff seemed friendly & helpful. Went to pick up food and inside looks cosy and nice atmosphere, will defo be back to dine in.
