Zulus Peri Peri in Dundee City

I had a great experience, and with fast service and fantastic flavour. The pizza has a crisp crust and generous toppings, while the southern fried chicken burger is perfectly crispy and juicy. Their chicken wings hit the mark with a crunchy, seasoned coating, and the peri peri chicken is packed with marinated, spicy flavour. For a solid classic, the beef burger is hearty and satisfying.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Received a shocking standard of food that the owner Amin refused to replace or refund. Spend your money elsewhere x

Took 2 hours to arrive. Payed for 4.50 for delivery for the driver to not even find my house and me have to walk about the street looking for her. I then got the food and it was stone cold

Was very disappointed from the food we received everything was so dry and chewy 😔 this happened last time so we never went for a while and thought try it again and was the same, used to be a go too but not anymore, and they are now very stingy on the sauces for garlic and herb dip and you were just about to get enough for 5 chips 🤦🏼‍♀️ prob the last time I go a shame too cause it used to be amazing 😞

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Zulu's Peri Peri Restaurant. The person answering the phone has been consistently rude and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, they struggled with my address and responded rudely when I tried to clarify. They have hung up on me several times, refused to deliver, and mocked my name in a rude manner. When I ask the reason or if there is anything wrong about my name, they make excuses as they just wanted to confirm they have correctly repeated my name. It was extremely weird. I never ever faced such a open rude behaviour in any other restaurant I have experience before. Even when I finally received my order, the food quality was poor. It seems there is no management to address this bad behaviour. I hope there is management staff to take this seriously and make necessary changes. I feel very disrespected and would never order from them again. Customer satisfaction is not the value. It is shame that we disrespect the customer many times and bring no positive improvement or change to behaviours.

Definitely the BEST peri peri chicken shop in Dundee. I tried the Festive Family Box for the first time and it is AMAZING! I love the zinger burger i would definitely recommend it. My friend recommended to try the Festive Family Box and i instantly fell in-love with it.

Best chicken place in town recently moved here and tried their food first time and it was so good chicken was succulent with delicious flavor and Zulus pizza is highly recommended would defo come back again Keep up the great work

Never had any problems until the last order always order the same box but this time one of the burgers were like yesterdays chicken strips and the shredded chicken wraps were cold and like mush… only time I have ever had bad food but was bad enough won’t be back

The butterfly chicken and spicy rice was so good. A bit let down that they forgot my peri chips. But considering it was a busy Friday and the rest of the food was so good. I'm more than happy. Would definitely recommend.

Great quality grill chicken and speedy delivery too

Food was over 50 minutes late, then we got the wrong order delivered and it was freezing cold. Phoned up about it and got Told we would be getting a refund, then a week later got a text to say we won’t get a refund because we should have seen through the box in the delivery man’s hand that the order was wrong before we opened it? Would totally avoid!

Had the peri peri chicken pizza and it was very good, good amount of flavour and spice, only think I would say is it would be better if the chicken was cut up in to smaller pieces and not big chunks. I would still recommend this place and will return if in the area.

As an Indian , Loved this place . Recommended and Must try: Their Peri Peri Chicken and shredded chicken with rice with oreo milkshake which is way too cheaper with great taste. I would say best and affordable food in whole Dundee.....

We travel 29 miles to go to this takeaway because there is not another one like it.

I had ordered 2 meals from Zulus and when it came LATE I asked the driver to let me check the chips as sometimes it's either too salty or cold. But I called and with in 20 I got my order n the chips n the food was hot and SOSOSOSO good. Keep it up

Normally just get a pizza from here, pizzas are good but I have had to reheat them when delivered a couple of times but we do live a distance away from it. I have had the chips and coleslaw but I wasn't to keen on the chips.

Went with my aunt last week for the first time and loved it. I had a grill box on the bone and aunt had Saturday special box. Food was nice and hot, and the staff were really nice. Got loads of food well worth the money. Will be back thanks guys

Terrible customer service. Phoned up after getting the complete wrong order manager was so rude and not willing to do anything about their own mistake. Manager had no customer service skills at all spoke horribly to me !!

It was one of the best experiences I had I went with the whole Minhaj Muslim Generation Dundee (MMG) team, we had a really good time and the staff was very friendly and they made a deal for us because of the number of people the chicken was fresh and the drinks verve frosty.

No sense of how to deal with customers. And the manager is a very rude and don’t have any idea how to behave with customers. They was good but now it’s going downhill. Very poor quality of food. Very cold and not fresh. Waste of money

Ordered a delivery,waited over an hour then called them and was told oops we put it down as a pick up 😡 on the plus side the scran Is top notch 😁

This place is so bad we bought the family box and I don’t think a family will be full with this the burgers were minus they just cut up the chicken and put it in the burger the wrap wasn’t even a wrap the chicken was soggy also we waited for 1 hour for the order to come the chips were salty every member of the family hated it and we bought another order from another place so this was waste of time and money

Chicken strips didn’t come, phoned up asked about it was left on hold for 15 minutes and nobody came back to the phone, assuming I’m not getting them then. Standard with these places with big orders - food is good but you’ll be lucky to get it all.

Wow what an absolute let down chicken fillet burger meal with cheese ( slice ) roll not toasted salad 2 bits of white lettuce the bit most folk throw in bin total lack of care just thrown together

Ok why would you want sauce put in circles of you pizza it’s the base of your pizza not a topping I didn’t ask for bbq sauce as a topping would you want tomato sauce in circle on your pizza no I have enough on the bottom already

Very delicious food and huge portions especially the chips. Got a peri peri half chicken ( super mild )and peri peri chips. The chicken was very tender and tasty. The chips were tasty too. I recommend it. 👍👍

Bad food And Expensive I had a peri peri Burger today it was the worst food ever I had And the price was £9.50 for One burger on its own I won’t got back to it And I’m about to order food somewhere else unfortunately wasted £9.50

Everytime i am ordering a pizza never correct. Yesterday ordered a Peri chicken pizza with onion. Went home and had friends, we started to eat the pizza and it was a peri chicken with oily shredded chicken. Pizza was not nice at all. This is not the first time this has happened, i have even spoken with the owner in the past regarding the numerous wrong pizzas being delivered or collected. I really hope they get their act together as at at one time this was one of the best pizza places in Dundee and would have highly recommended them...

Do not come here. I ordered chicps and chicken and asked for extra salt. The guy serving me said go to asda for salt. I was confused and asked to speak to someone else thats when he stared cussing me.

this was my first time here. ordered the pulled chicken wrap. it was well worth the money, but the taste wasnt for me. however if you like piri piri this is the place to go, as my friend loved it.

Extremely good food! Everyday special deals are excellent and worth money. The only down side is Expensive Delivery. Food for two cost around £10-15. Unfortunately the delivery cost £5.

I've ordered from Zulus 3 times, each time I've ordered I've asked for no veg on my pizza and they don't listen. The foods good but I get the impression they don't pay attention.

Ordered from here last night. Food came a bit late but it was delicious. The chips were the best parts and the dips were very flavorful. Chicken was a bit too lemony though. Over all, delicious!

We ordered for collection, and headed off from Carnoustie. Our order was forgot about 😅.. So after a hours wait, our food was ready.... Great, as good as or better than Nando's and a bit cheaper too. Their peri peri fries are much nicer and decent portion. Only wish it came with a bit of salad though. Will certainly go again.
