Zoya Morley in Leeds

Our curries, although different on the menu, tasted identical. We even swapped dishes when returning to prove the point. Replacement curries were brought out to us (at managers reluctance!) but even they tasted bland and too much alike. The starters were good, and overall I liked the atmosphere. But those curries were so disappointing and by far the worst tasting curries I’ve had for a long time. I’d avoid this one and try one of the many other south Asian restaurants locally.

After a couple of ok experiences a really really bad one. I have never reviewed or complained about a restaurant but I feel strongly that we have been conned tonight and will unfortunately never return. Your staff tonight were rude and unjust.

Just had our Thursday Evening Tea at Zoya's in Morley...Food was fantastic and the staff are great and very friendly. Not the cheapest Indian on the planet but worth every penny....

Great place to eat very friendly

I was working in the area and ordered a takeaway from here. The people who worked here were very friendly and the food was delicious. I requested that my order was extra spicy and, wow, did they oblige! The restaurant itself looked very impressive and was quite busy for 6.00 pm, which is obviously a good sign. I will definitely look up Zoya when next in the area. Thank you.

First time going, Wouldn’t go again. Place looks beautiful but we had to get a member of staff over twice, once to order our drinks then a 2nd time to order food, wouldn’t mind but they kept attending to the people who was sat at side of us. It was like we was invisible, and the Food wasn’t much better, I’ve tried more kormas then I can count and this was super bland, as was my partners balti, and the poppadoms came broken up in a basket, they was all curled over, not flat like normal poppadoms. Mocktail also tasted like j20.

Preordered a takeaway for the first time, went to pick up and it was ready to go, friendly staff on arrival and the food was beautiful! Looking forward to using again :)

Never again. Apna people it's NOT for us. The place looks amazing and staff are nice but food is awful! The food was bland and looked like it came out of tin cans and tasted like it too. The chicken was not chicken (it crumbled) and the lamb was old, the Daal was dry, only fresh thing about it was the salad. Sorry but it's a big No No. I pay good money for good food but this time I felt I wasted my money. 3/10.

Really really nice food. Darjeeling Achari is awesome. Friendly staff. Service/wait can be a tad slow when busy, but nothing terrible. Definitely worth a visit.

Extensive pickle tray- lime, tamarind, mango, chilli, raita, onion, onion and cucumber.. starter chicken tikka had lively flavour and onion bhajis light and crispy not oily or stodgy. Main of chicken garlic balti had good depth of flavour with a dried garlic garnish on top.. the chicken haandi was creamier and smoother. Decent amount of chicken in both. Lovely garlic nan. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Very impressed.

Worst Indian meal I've ever had tastless food Naan bread was like a cheap supermarket brand no sauce with the curry Onion barges were like flat pancakes don't understand the good reviews obviously they've never eaten a proper curry then to top it all they tried to charge us for a drink we never had dont go & waste your money

Been to this restaurant now 3 times with family and friends. The staff are amazing so friendly and polite nothing is too much trouble they make you feel so welcome The food is fantastic so much choice, I have tried something different each visit and enjoyed every dish especially the rhubarb curry, amazing and so delicious. The atmosphere is great the room is large and airy and very comfortable. Really looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend, thank you yo all staff for make me and my family feel so welcome .we visited 2 nights in a row as we enjoyed the first time so much .

First time this evening didn't know what to expect but staff are friendly and provided a great service, food was absolutely outstanding ordered starts and mains would have taken photos but I enjoyed it that much I forgot didn't have time or space for pudding due to a cinema date but all in all great highly recommend and even got a free mint chocolate with the bill fabulous 👌

Friendly and professional, we were quickly seated and our order taken. The food was delicious in a good portion size and for a fair price. My only qualms was there didn't seem enough parking, we were lucky to get a spot, and they frequently asked if everything was okay during the meal. I know some people lile that attentiveness though.

Was there on a Saturday night. Very disorganised. Got our order wrong twice. Food was very bland. Won't be going back.

Very friendly staff who will take the time out of their obviously busy day to serve you to the best of their abilities, me and my partner were served by the professional Imran who made sure we were looked after, well fed and appropriately intoxicated! You get the quality of service and food for half the price, I’d certainly pay double for what we did and expect the exact same service. I would highly, highly recommend!

Our first visit this evening having driven past many times before. The decor and atmosphere were excellent, and the food and customer service were superb. We could not fault it in any way.

Used to go to Alli in our village then discovered this place..Nice surroundings first class staff. And food made with quality and taste. Not just rammed full of chillies like some. Dont tell to many though we still want to be able to get a table on a Saturday night. Reasonable price too

Super good restaurant, service was so good, for example, the staff are so knowledgeable and attentive to your dietary needs, and the food was a culinary delight.

If you are on the fence about coming here or not, I will tell you now. This restaurant is quality! I went here to celebrate my 30th birthday. They didn't know this so we didn't get special treatment, if that's what you are thinking! Firstly, the person on front of house welcomed us so warmly! He could not do enough for us! Not in an annoying way either! He was delightful, however he didn't over do it. Secondly, the food! It was phenomenal! Authentic, delicious, flavourful food. We had starters and mains. They cater just as well for vegetarians as they do meat eaters! I must say the fish pakoras were the best I have ever had! I would even say the best in world! Lastly, the atmosphere of this restaurant was amazing. The setting was elegant and inviting, creating a perfect ambiance for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Been here for the first time as Zoya. The staff were brilliant, especially Imran who introduced himself and made us feel welcome. Staff were very attentive without going overboard. Ordered our usual food that we used to order from our last favourite curry house (but that’s now changed hands) as this was the benchmark they had to hit (for us anyway) Not only was it as good, it was far better and didn’t disappoint. I think we have found our new, go to curry house. No doubt we will be back soon with the rest of our curry loving family. Many thanks, Paul & Tina

Disappointing service. Only fair people know what to expect. The curries were bland and the meat tasted dry. Meal took well over an hour to arrive, despite us only being a table of two. For a place that sells itself as high end, it unfortunately puts little effort into customer service and the product. Sadly, will not be returning.

What a superb restaurant, the food was excellent, the service second to none & cleanliness that is rare in uk. We will be returning next time we are staying in uk.

Absolutely beautiful food and staff , ordered a pickle tray for home to find 4 dips when had 8 in house . Highly disappointed because pricing was same and left a decent tip . The take out shouldn’t be less for in house custom

Not only one with the best curries I’ve ever had, but possibly one of the best curries since the dawn of agriculture. Superb. Imran looked after us spectacularly well too. 10/10. Try the Haandi.

Great service to me and my freinds

After trying a takeaway from here maybe 3-4 years ago I wasn’t impressed, until now. Last night 4 of us had a sit-in meal and I can’t fault it. All of the food was declined and perfectly cooked. Only very minor comment I could make is I wish the mint yoghurt was a little sweeter but now I’ve eaten in I will definitely be coming back again

Best Indian cuisine in Morley. Loved the dal fry and special rice.

Went on Saturday 9th March 7pm. From moment of walking in was very impressed with whole atmosphere. Went with my wife and family including three grandchildren 10 to 15 years. Had some bad experiences in past at different restaurants and was very cautious of what to expect. First time for my wife but she was well impressed with greeting. Table was set and ready, ordered drinks while chosing menu. Selection is very impressive. Food was all served together and everyone was satisfied. Times between courses was bang on with a bit of banter thrown in from the waiters. A truly fantastic night had by all. Will be going more often. Can not think of one minute fault.

I was so shocked, the butter chicken had zero flavour, zero salt zero spice, the chilli paneer was not chilli paneer it was paneer in sweet chilli sauce with onions init, the rotis were raw, the sheesh kebabs were swimming in water (maybe because it was frozen the put in then microwave). Not authentic at all, u could get a better curry and rice at the local pub. The only decent thing was the lamb chops, the rice were ok. Asked for cutlery, none given, I paid 40 quid and all was a waste. It ruined our valentines night.

Great food, service and atmosphere, was valentines set meal but was asked if I wanted differant & they happily made it, friendly guys serving and a live violinist that played to Beyonce & other upto date music, very good at it too good idea as an extra, will defo be going again

Food was nice, but service was very poor. Had a table booked for 8, didn’t get seated till 8:30 no one came to check see if we wanted drinks whilst we waited. Got starters at 9:15 and then the main course just before 10. During all this time there was no check ins from the staff to tell us it’s a wait or if we wanted another drink, no apologies about the wait either and no one checked in to see how our meal was. Probably won’t be going again unfortunately

Friendly staff. As I was in the recovery path from the flu, they prepared some custom dishes for me. What a kind gesture, I'm touched.

I eat in a lot of Indian restaurants all round the country. Tonight was very pleasant indeed. Great welcome, very flavorful main (Haandi) and Chicken starter was very tender. Sorry about the photo, could wait or stop myself.

Got a takeaway for 8 people, a small tiny bag of crushed up popadoms, no pickle tray just tubs of mint dip. Chicken pakora looked like store bought chicken slices they were so flat, onion bajis were really flat, positions small and the mushroom rice was disgusting - mushrooms boiled and like rubber. Curry was tasteless. We won’t be back here to eat in or takeaway. It used to be lovely and the place to go for a curry in Morley but I don’t know if it’s changed hands, it wasn’t nice at all.

Came here a couple of months ago and wasn’t impressed. Was not going to leave a review but it’s only fair people know what to expect. Went on recommendation that this was a nice place with great food. Not so. In fairness the staff were nice enough, but the portions were small. I had a chicken Kharai it was very bland and tasteless, I expected much better. Hopefully the poor reviews will help the owners make improvements and turn the negatives into a positive.

Chicken pakora's are straight out of a packet of sliced chicken.. meal dishes not even full.. disgrace of a place.

Absolutely disgusting ordered a take out tonight. Smashed poppadoms, the lamb kahrai had so much oil in it I couldn't even see the meat it also had a lemon in the curry container wasnt even half full for the price we paid this is out of order.🤷. Mixed starters swimming in loads of fat. Chicken pakoras flat and really oily. Chapattis raw. Avoid at all costs clearly don't know what they are doing. Would give 0 stars if i could.

The portion sizes are incredibly small and the amount charged for the food is disproportionate to the amount and quality. It took over an hour to arrive. Very disappointed. Rang them to ask if there had been a mistake but told this is their standard portion - barely a half filled standard tub. Save your hard earned money.

Terrible food tonight and tiny portions. Not sure if changed hands since we last went but it was nothing like before. There's more spice in a morrisons microwave curry! When we was asked how the food was, we were honest. But the manager decided to walk away from us rather than deal with the complaint professionally!! Will never eat from here again.

Ordered chicken tikka masala and it was the worst curry I've ever had. Looked like watered down curry sauce chicken was chewy and there was more flavor in the poppadoms. My partner got Madras and it was that spicy he couldn't eat it and usually loves a spicy curry we Definitely won't be ordering from here again

Just had meal there, very disappointed. Staff member very rude whilst we were waiting for party to arrive, not late. Small portion, chicken tikka masalla, 5 pieces chicken!! Charged 6.00 for some sauce!!! Food wasnt hot, sauce was only thing that warmed it. Will not be returning in foreseeable future. Customer service needs to improve and portion size increase.

Food is really good, however when they bring your food the waiter/chef 'throws' it on the table doesn't put your meal in front of you, leans over you to take dishes away and doesn't walk around. Really need to work on table service.

Great food and excited staff. 5 of us had a poppadom with pickle tray, a starter each and a main dish each and all 5 of us loved the food and service. Nothing to fault really. It was quiet at 7pm on a Tuesday evening but a steady footfall of customers through the door all evening whilst we were there until around 9pm

Without doubt, the best curry house I’ve ever been too! Excellent food, excellent service and they have beer on fraught. Brilliant value for money. I can’t wait to return!

On a trip to the area, first visit to the restaurant and we were welcomed like we were regulars. Great menu with lots of variety. Starters arrived quickly and were all delicious, mains took a little longer to arrive than I prefer, but as the restaurant was filling up I fully understand why. The mains were well worth the wait though, I particularly enjoyed my Mint Masala Lamb Chops. If we were locals we surely would be going back.

The food was reminiscent of the Indian food-Culture, having optiona such as pani-poori, samosas and jalebis ( yummy). The warm colours used inside paired with the decorations made the payment atmosphere warm and welcoming. Even though the staff did take quite some time to bring us our food,( the reason I gave it 4 stars for service) the wait was worth it! Am planning to come back in the future to have another taste of their fine food. 5/5 highly recommended.

Don't seem to be able to find a menu for the restaurant on your website just take away , can't find one online , is it secret ? what dishes do you do ? what are your prices ? are you licensed?

We came last night (Saturday) and the Restaurant was full of life/ambience/people enjoying food....Luckily, our table was booked otherwise could have been waiting some time for table and food. Food was very tasty, served hot and all courses served efficiently but you weren't rushed. A big 'Thumbs up'!

Lovely restaurant very cosy and nice ti eat in clean.. Nice staff only 4 stars as curry's wasn't to our usual taste like other places seemed no spice at all in bhuna tasty very mild and creamy also madras didn't taste like any other madras that seemed a lot milder and lighter in colour but other than that I can't fault just not to our taste.. this is cleary a family restaurant and my experience didn't feel like a a couple that was 4 tables away complaining about my autistic son watching he's phone saying turn it down I was sat at the side if my son and couldn't here it all I could here was music plus a group table laughing like most people do maybe if she know my son had he's needs and this is what keeps my son calm maybe she wouldn't of been so rude staring all the time put me off going

Excellent, spacious and not heaving with people, food was really good, especially after a 3 day fast, did I mention I've lost 20lbs ? Recommend.Been a second time a year after my fasting, lost another 20lbs and kept the weight off ! Lot warmer this time it was baltic last time, food just as excellent ;-)

Decent curry house great service

Out for my birthday. Felt rushed. When paying bill card machine didn't work. I felt very uncomfortable when using the contactless machine. Felt he was watching over me
