We had a lot of children and Shaz was absolutely fantastic. What a lovely waitress.

The restaurant unfortunately smelt quite bad in the seating area, like the carpet had been flooded with waste water. The service was good and the server Abi was very friendly. Food tasted good too, made by Boris.

Catherine was very helpful and attentive. A few vegan options which is helpful.

Our food was cooked by Boris and was delicious, with good sized portions and well presented. We were served by Mia who was very friendly as always and service was excellent. Great value with the free salad bar included and the refillable soft drinks. Highly recommend.

Catherine was an absolute gem. She was very bubbly and was really funny. She made our evening much better.

We have been a couple of times while visiting for work, Mia was excellent! Very attentive and naturally welcoming service. The other staff brilliant too. The food equally excellent, the salad bar way better than I remember.

What a lovely experience from when we were greeted and seated, we were asked for drinks by our server Beth, which were brought promptly, and we placed our orders of 2 smash burgers with bacon and cheese. As we were eating, I noticed our server never stopped, always smiling and busy, What an amazing employee an absolute asset to Colton Mill well done Beth!! The food was incredible also my first ever smash burger and it did not disappoint credit to Boris the chef another great employee. Overall for the price we paid we were spoilt and this will be our goto place for food!!

I went for lunch with friends, the salad bar offers unlimited servings with very fresh ingredients. My favorite dish was the pork belly, it was absolutely delicious! The staff provided excellent service, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, it was a great dining experience! We will definitely visit again!

3 generations out for a meal, our server Catherine couldn't do any more to accommodate us, very knoweleagble in the menu and could easily amend the menu to suit dietary requirements. Compliments to the chef Sam, the food was beautiful, southern fried chicken burgers were cooked to perfection. 5* visit, will happily return.

Second time in 2 days, food excellent and great value, Georgia was very helpful and efficient, we were very happy with our visit, sadly don’t have a harvester in our area but come to oulton hall regularly and prefer your food and service.

Monica our server was her usual bubbly, friendly self. She's always willing to go above and beyond to be helpful. If I am in doubt of any menu choices, she will advise. An asset to the Harvester Colton Mill.

Mia was very friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. All the food we had was very nice and Boris did a great job.

The food is great, especially the prawn tempura, which was crispy and tasty. The staff are all very friendly. Catherine, who served us, was polite and full of energy. She smiled the whole time and made sure we had everything we needed. Her kindness really made the experience more enjoyable.

We ordered 2 Ultimate sharing Comb for 6 people. The food was plentiful and beautifully cooked - thank you Olly and Boris!! Catherine, our server was extremely friendly and professional, thank you.

We booked for 8pm (Wednesday) as a couple, We ordered 2 x steaks both medium rare. We normally dine here as family of 5 but earlier in the evenings and food normally good. Servers were friendly. Restaurant was very quiet. On this occasion food took a long time to arrive considering how empty they was. When it arrived one steak was undercooked blue, the other was very over cooked more well done. The steak was fatty and overall not good quality . The onion rings was over cooked and the onion was black inside. The tomato was overcooked and mushy. Even the cherry Pepsi max on drink refill machine must of run out of cherry and didn't taste of cherry at all. The salad bar was okay. No server asked us how our meal was until clearing plate and kept away after bringing food. I did explain to the server the issues and point out the mushy tomato and black onion ring. Whilst we did eat the majority of I didn't expect any discount obviously but I would of expected the manager to make the effort to appologise and look into the issue. Reciept number 45/1306

Server Catherine was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food cooked by chef Olly was first class as usual. Come to Harvester, Colton Mill regularly and in recent times has always been excellent.

Quiet pub, great for relaxing. Mainly food place but has a small bar area. The staff was fine with us sitting in the dining area for card games. The service recently has taken a while to get served and was stood at the bar waiting, with not a lot happening. All you can eat breakfast. Good food. Roughly £4 a pint

Catherine was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and her service was second to none. Olly was the chef and he cooked our meal to perfection, the steaks were just as required and the bbq ribs fell off the bone. Fantastic meal and Service.

Reasonably quiet for a Friday night but really enjoyed our time there. Given a lovely corner booth with plenty of room for 5 of us. Meals were all cooked well by Olly, he knows how to cook a mixed grill, and everything was served beautifully by Catherine. She made sure we had our drinks, that the food was good, told us where drinks station was and salad bar, very good server, couldn't have done any more for us. She even sang happy birthday to me when presenting me with a cake, (nice voice Catherine). Will certainly be returning there and hope to get same server, and chef.

Needs more choice on menu or bring bak the set menu was better. Pasta is dry on salad bar aswell as dry bread. Also restaurant is dark.

Lovely food, at a very reasonable price

You had a special offer on hence it was very busy. We had to wait a while to be seated and then again to order our drinks. The same ordering food. When we ordered you had run out of rotisserie chicken. This has happened before when we have been here. I do not know why you still cannot serve yourself at the salad bar. I understand why you did this previously due to Covid, but things are now back to normal and yet you still have to be served by a waitress. I asked why and she said it was company policy and when people were asked most of them preferred it because it kept the area clean. Well I certainly haven't been asked, none of my friends who have visited prefer it and it does not keep the area clean. It was rather untidy when we were there. I think it is so people don't help themselves to too much. It is a waste of the waitresses time and rather demeaning having to stand and ask for things. Plus, you had run out of any kind of bread rolls. This was only at 8pm so it wasn't too late in the day.

Quickly seated our waiter Catherine came took our order made sure we knew where the salad and drink refill was. Checked everything was ok she was very pleasant food arrived in a reasonable time.

Had a table booked for me and my dad at 7.30, only to find it apparently hadn't gone through properly on your end despite me receiving both a text and email. We were asked to wait 5-10minutes for a table but after waiting for 20 we gave up and left. Feeling pretty let down to say the least. Doubt we'll be coming back after the wasted trip.

Great food, friendly staff & plenty of space around the tables. Didn't have to wait too long for food, despite it being Sunday lunchtime.

Rang up to ask if they were still serving food and got a table booked for 10mins time after being to the northern lights . Not been to a harvester for a long time seen as our local closed down .wow we wasn't disappointed table staff was excellent. Food was spot on ribs just melted of the bone 2 of us had the barbecue and 1 of us had honey all. lovely. Fish and chips for the last person was really enjoyed. Even though it's a distance from home we would defo travel. Nice to see free salad bar is still running
