Staff went above and beyond for a recent birthday here. Amazing pizza too. Can’t wait to return.

Ordered a collection Not their fault but deliveroo doesn't send notifications when food is ready so sometimes a couple of minutes early or late. Either way, however, whenever I get there, I have to wait 10 minutes for pizza – don't think that they ever cook it until you arrive.

Update, Faith restored! Rudy's customer service can't be faulted, Deliveroo are another matter re missing items. Delicious pizzas truly authentic every time, crucially, for my partner, no onion or garlic in the Margherita sauce. Visit this and other branches on regular occasions and there's always a warm friendly welcome and the best authentic neopolitan pizza (my partner's an expert) plus divine mocktail options, which means a lot to me. Cosy lighting and cute setting too! Also this venue has handy parking at the supermarket over the road if you drive :)

Placed an order through deliveroo for a couple of pizzas and they cancelled the order at 9:50 with no explanation or phone call as to why they left us waiting an hour and a half beforehand. Really disappointing to experience.

we have been to quite a few Rudy's locations before but unfortunately the service was very slow today, especially as the restaurant wasn't that busy, and there were many staff standing around. Staff were friendly but our starter came after our main (we were told these were to be on the house, but still charged for it), we never got a highchair we asked for, and plates came 5 mins after pizza. The food fortunately was very good as always!

I ordered through Uber Eats today. Pizza was stone cold, had not been cut and was burnt underneath. It tasted burnt and charred. It had at best been left standing. Any quality control would have rejected this. The pizza was really unpleasant. What an awful waste of money.

Good food, but staf was veeery slow. It was the 1st of January, so I understand they didn't want to be at work, but one hour and a half was ridiculously long. Anyway, we liked the pizza.

Absolutely delightful lunch with my best friend, we always like to try different branches of Rudy's when we see them and Chapel Allerton didn't disappoint got chatting to Damian i believe hes management, he was so knowledgeable and a really nice chap .the whole place was clean , staff welcoming and attentive. The pizzas, in my opinion, are the best wood fired pizzas around . We will definitely return.

If you order a starter and you ask for it to come before your pizza you can bet your house it won’t... The pizza bases are never as good as in the centre of Leeds branch..

I really wonder if they borrowed their name from "Rude". The guy at the front house couldn't believe that we had a reservation as if we didn't look like we could eat at Rudy's. After showing him the mail confirmation he took us to a seat next to the toilet, when we requested for an alternate seat he said he has all seats booked. There were plenty of vacant seats until we left, so if they wanted they could have accommodated else where. We were really hungry, as we were returning from a long trail walk, so we just went for 3 Pizzas and a dip. The dip never came but made it's appearance on the bill, which they promptly deleted upon my request. I chose not to pay any service charge and immediately the face of the person who served us changed as if we do not matter any more and her replies were like trying to ridicule us. So Rudy's, thank you for your service but not anymore.

Well located with localised parking. Friendly, welcoming staff, tired furnishings which some would class as rustic but it was warm and comfortable Good sized and well made pizzas, most of the toppings were a bit too whacky for me but happy with the triple pepperoni and a nice chilli honey glaze. Cannot justify the price though, as in cost of ingredients and production Vs the selling price, but that's my opinion on most trendy pizza places Certainly left feeling well fed and happy with quality & taste which is the main thing so definitely worth the overall 4*

Do not go here if you have food allergies. On 3 separate occasions I’ve made food allergies known, both in person and delivery, and requested appropriate substitutions and on all 3 occasions they have straight served me the allergen, not cross-contamination, the actually thing I’m allergic to. Twice is a coincidence, Thrice is a pattern. Be safe, not sorry

Requested Margherita pizza. Toppings meagre, dry dough base on edges .Had been recommended but unfortunately family didn’t enjoy . Not impressed.

Went on a Tuesday and it was busy with a great warm atmosphere. As a Muslim, there are certain cheeses that we can't eat like the hard cheeses. So we opted for customising our pizza that was simple one named Marinara £7.90 and 2.5 for extra mozzarella topping. The staff took good care us providing us with olives and also drinks on the house as it was delayed. But when the pizza came, the base was amazing the garlic taste was amazing on the sauce and dough was nice light but very fullfiling. The chilli oil was out of this world. If you want halal-friendly option then it's best to customise the pizza and opt for the mozzarella on the pizza instead of the hard cheeses which will contain animal-rennet. Also to top off our experience due to the delay we offered a discounted price by the manager. So definitely visiting again to support them.

I’ve been to Rudy’s in Liverpool and loved it. This was my first time at Chapel A and it wasn’t the same quality. I felt there were sparse toppings that wasn’t worth the money. I would expect chucks of sausage rater than tiny little minced pieces taht didn’t amount to much. I left wishing I’d gone somewhere else which is a shame.

My first visit to Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana was unforgettable! Tilly was fantastic—she made us feel so welcome and her infectious energy really set the tone for a great experience. She told us all about the Negroni promotion for September: wear the Rudy’s shirt and get a free pizza and Negroni! I had the chance to sample everything on the menu, and the pizza was truly amazing—authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. If you’re looking for an incredible pizza experience with great vibes, Rudy’s is definitely a must-try!

My wife and I made a stop here, the staff are amazing. As we were being served the manager which her name has escaped me caught wind that we were pregnant and the joy from the staff towards us absolutely melted our hearts. The food was amazing every aspect was enhanced by each aspect of service. We made a promise to bring our daughter when born and we eagerly wait for our return. Food was delicious but they were very busy, so long wait for food and drinks and staff were very abrupt and rushed everything

The portobello white pizza was a bit dry and the crust to pizza ratio was not very good. Hali was our server. She rushed to take the plates away which made us spill our food when we were packing it. Even after this, she continued to rush to take everything away despite some drinks not being finished. Overall service definitely has room to improve. However the server that helped us take photos was very nice.

It was really lovely to go here, the vegan cheese was really good. The staff were really friendly and it is a nice location. I had the mushroom pizza and it was great. The pizza, for the quality is a good price

We've been back to Rudys several times now. Friendly staff, great ambience and lovely pizzas. I will say on the latest visit, the base wasn't quite as crispy as usual, but nonetheless, they were really good. The kids absolutely love this place so I'm sure we'll be back soon!

I went here with a friend on a nice hot summers day. I had to say this is the best pizza I have had since I was in Naples last summer. The service was quick, the prices are reasonable and the seating area is nice.

Went for a birthday meal for my son-in-law. I am not a big fan of Pizza but this was honestly the best pizza I have ever had. I would highly recommend the pizza. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the service. We were a party of 8 including my 1-year-old grandchild who mostly remained in her pushchair. However, during the meal my daughter had my grandchild on her lap. This was very fortunate as at one point a large chalkboard fell off the wall, narrowly missing my daughter but hitting the pushchair. It also hit a diner on the table next to us. How the manager dealt with this left me speechless and I would have complained on the night only I did not want to spoil the birthday party. The manager came over and at no point apologised for the incident but was only concerned with filling in an accident form. Once this was done they left and showed no regard for the impact this had on my daughter or the diner on the over table. This extremely poor level of customer service spoiled what otherwise was an excellent night.

Great food and great service. I am usually fussy when it comes to pizza, Rudy's is the best by far.

We went for a birthday treat for my grandson. Service was good, apart from 1 meal did not appear. We asked and it was done immediately & we were not charged for it. Really good atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the food, it was very tasty. Would return.

You are charged £7 for a tiramisu that's worse than the one from Tesco, absolute scam 😂😂 The pizza was ok, ingredients were alright, however the dough was awful, literally the thinnest dough I've ever seen, couldn't hold the ingredients at all, unbelievably thin. But it was also so hard I couldn't even chew it, I threw half of it away it was literally inedible. Unbelievable that this place has such high prices for a very, very mediocre pizza. Also, have you heard of putting vegetables on pizza? Like peppers for example? Last but not least, my pizza was supposed to have garlic oil on it... That pizza did not have garlic oil...

Sorry I was underwhelmed my pizza was average at best sloppy dough topping average .

Honestly my favourite place for pizza! Can't understand people complaining about them not serving chips - it's meant to resemble Italian pizza restaurant, not an English takeaway. Consistently delicious food and friendly staff.

Probably rudy has a wide Italian Pizza options; it's something that is unusual but great to see. The dough is not crunchy but is a great soft lievitation. Toppings' quality is remarkable. Probably they should review the starter. Two mentions: pizzas' price are competitive; staff always present and highly professional.

The restaurant continues to deliver excellent food, as it has on previous occasions. However, our latest visit was tainted by an unpleasant encounter with a discourteous staff member who refused us entry as we didn’t have a booking, despite the restaurant being noticeably under-occupied. Upon returning an hour later with a booking, we were graciously accommodated by a more welcoming attendant at the front desk. It's unfortunate that this incident overshadowed what has otherwise been a consistently delightful experience.

Nice thin pizza, first time in this location. Suggest to have more option like bbq based when I kind of fancy something different than just classic tomatoes based. Hope to re visit soon.

Sad they have so many pizzas but don’t offer gluten free pizza or any other alternatives to gluten free, no fries or wedges, seafood or anything. Only caesar salad or rocket salad is not enough, enjoyable or filling when everyone else is eating away the yummy pizzas.

Went here last week for Carni pizza with my mate and let me tell you, I have not stopped thinking about the pizza since then. I seriously think about this pizza, I was sitting at the bar when I ate it, from the way it was made - exceptional, and then when I ate it, it was an experience and taste that everyone should try once in their life. I will be going again soon, and cannot wait to be back. The atmosphere in the restaurant is hard to beat, one of the the best all round restaurants in Leeds.

I am a regular customer of Rudy's. The pizza is always incredible both in restaurant and as a takeaway. Even when they are busy (most of the time) they usually manage to slot you in somewhere. Excellent service.

Pretty much anyone can make a half decent pizza but Rudi’s in chapel allerton is a great example of the death of customer service… all I’ll say is, lazy front of house service culminating in paying £50 for 3 pizzas and being handed a box to pack up our own slices to take home. - No great front of house welcome - No quick drinks order - all of the service staff sitting round the open kitchen chatting around a laptop Maybe it’s just been a bad day but Rudi’s didn’t improve it any. Bang average. Never going back when there are much better options locally

After seeing the photos online I was very much looking forward to visiting as I LOVE pizza. The pizza was ok and I ate it but i felt disappointed and was not as nice as expected. The pizza was a bit wet and sloppy. I also was disappointed there was no option for side of chips and was only potatoe crisps option which i found odd with pizza. The place itself was a nice 'holiday' vibe as it was warm and sunny and they had the roof opened up. The waitress was clearly eager for our table and we felt rushed out when we wanted to stay and chat with drink after food. All in all it was ok but was disappointed and I would choose other pizza options in future.

It may be better to priortise customers who decide to come to your restaurant and not order online. Last night it appeared that online orders were going out quicker than serving in-house diners. It was prob >45 mins after our garlic bread plates were cleared before we got our pizzas, and that was prob due to us questioning the wait. The only time we saw the waitress was when she kept asking if we wanted more drinks..... no !! we wanted our food. Maybe next time it will be quicker to order online.

It was a great evening with my family at Rudys. The pizza was great, the waitresses were very attentive and gave great customer services. The manager Tilly made us feel welcome and at home. Will definitely be returning.

I went there with my family. I ordered the vegan pizza as I’m a dairy allergen. It was a big mistake. I had a massive reaction - clearly there was dairy in the food. I don’t understand how people can play with your life like that. A super no as I can’t trust them at all

A poorly leavened or poorly leavened pizza is the main cause of night thirst. This is because the enzymes contained in yeast, if they have not undergone a long maturation ,they continue their process in the intestine. For this to happen, water is needed, and this is the reason for thirst. I drink 4 times more water than usual after your pizza....all day long... Dehydration...

got shoved on the table next to the loos! poor.. they did move us after we asked but then got order wrong and half the pizzas came late, poor again. they did give us a reduction thank you, pizzas up to the usual standard, good! ps its not a wood fired oven its gas fired oven but still great pizzas.. cheers..

We have just had a lovely meal here tonight. The server was excellent, the food lovely and fresh. It was RUINED by being asked to leave as 'we need the table in 15 minutes'. We arrived just before 7pm and they needed the table at 8.15. No time for coffee even!

10/10, I went for the carne pizza and it was hands down up there with one of the best pizza’s that I have had. Staff all super attentive and friendly too, will definitely be back for more thank you

I was introduced to this restaurant by my daughter for a quick snack. What a gem,the smell was delicious. We were served by Ledjon, who was polite, friendly and helpful. We watched the wonderful Craig freshly prepare pizza doughs. We had the best Tiramasu. We will be definitely returning next time I visit Leeds.

Wow!!! Where do I begin! The pizza on the specials the vegetarian was stupendous, every bite, an absolute joy! The salad Veggi Campana was beyond my expectation of a vegetable salad. The nuts were crisp and plentiful, as were the artichoke. I can't wait to go and salivate again

Very nice pizzas especially the sourdough bread as pizza based. My favourite is the Portobello pizza. The anchovy pizza was too salty.

First class food. Service a little slow but they were very busy. Too dark, had to use mobile torch to see the menu, as other people were doing. Useless of you are sight impaired!!! Lighting is a big must even the staff complain. Finally someone was feeding their dog from a bowl of food on the table . Staff did not stop it ....

Delicious pizza, will definitely be returning

Went here last Thursday and it was so good I thought I’d go again to see if that was just a one-off. It wasn’t a one-off. Once again an excellent pizza experience. Carni pizza was just superb. Very good ingredients and perfectly made. Burrata with rocket starter was very good. Lots of lemon and rock salt in the rocket. And more importantly, the service was exceptional. Martina was attentive without being obtrusive. Lovely limoncellos to finish too! Shared a starter, pizza and side salad and a bottle of red wine £50 including tip. Ideal for a light bite. 9/10!! (I don’t give 10s!).

DELICIOUS! Finally got to try Rudys after seeing so many positive reviews, let me tell you, IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I started with the olives which were fresh and very flavoursome. I had the triple pepperoni with burratta which was cooked to perfection. The pizza dough is crispy and light, with fresh toppings. Liv our server was very smiley and polite, she was knowledgable about the menu. We will be back ❤️

Service was a bit delayed. Waited about half an hour before we got our bottle of wine

TLDR - Manager loves a power trip and will happily go out of their way to ruin your night! Had the most shocking experience last night. After a day spent in the Christmas markets for a big family meet up we arrived for our booking in festive mood. After a few mulled wines we were fairly merry and were glad to see the place was full and had a loud and buzzing atmosphere. Table service was prompt and it felt like a good choice of venue to continue our festivities... or so we thought! After our table of 10 had enjoyed our food and pricey beverages the night took a disappointing turn. A couple with little else to do on a Saturday night decided to complain about the volume of our table. I'm assuming they must be regulars because without even haven spoken to us the manager was at our table and accusing two ladies on our table of "shrieking". The manager's tone was rude, condescending, and lacking in any understanding. I politely questioned her on why she had decided to ruin our night and was told to stop being aggressive - a sure sign that she knew she was in the wrong! She then said she wouldn't discuss it any further, accusing us again of shrieking and being aggressive (lol), and proceeded to hide behind the counter in the kitchen area. Attempts to calmly discuss this with other staff were shut down and they were unable to get the manager back out to speak to us. The manager basically did everything a manager shouldn't do: escalate the situation, wind up customers, refuse to take any responsibility leave junior staff to clear up their mess. Our server for the evening was lovely and the food was top notch. We tried to give the server a cash tip despite the rudeness of the manager - this was declined. I mention this to really emphasise both our enjoyment of the meal and the calm and reasonable tone with which he responded to these events. The absolute refusal of the manager to come out and speak to us after being so rude was both embarrassing and immature. They did everything possible to escalate the situation and refused to offer any kind of resolution. Upon leaving one of the couple who had complained watched us and smiled, tipping their glass. It was humiliating and made us all feel entirely unwelcome. Two of our group live locally and had brought the family here due to their previous good experiences. Clearly they won't be returning and this story will be shared with all members of the community. What was a really nice festive day was completely ruined and the rest of the evening was spent talking about our treatment by the manager. The whole situation was completely avoidable and its just such a shame the manager decided to act as they did. I fully expect the same manager to reply to this review with some attempt to gaslight me again. Hopefully the ensuing reviews from all other members of our table will convince them to actually talk to us instead of hiding away like a child. On a separate note the food was bloody amazing, 5*!
