The resturant is very clean and the service is great, the man behind the counter was very nice and helpful. There is a great variety of food, and a lot of desserts and drinks that you can only get back home. The cous cous was very good, the food tasted fresh and the mbatten was brilliant. Would highly highly recommend.

Love at first bite, went there after Jummah and the food was exceptional, we had some rice and meat and the laban cooled everything down, everything was on spot and the ambient felt like back home, the customer service was amazing and even the owners checked in on us to make sure we’re okay. The food was so similar to my mama’s, even Gaddafi would be proud.

We had been meaning to visit Zoroona for a while but it was closed twice when we visited for lunch on Friday so we were glad to finally be able to sample their food this week! We ordered a number of dishes to try: Farkassi - a fried dough stuffed with tuna & egg Mubattan - potato wedge filled with mince & fried Usban - sausage stuffed with rice, spices & meat Sharba - a soup with lamb & mint Fasolia with lamb - a white kidney bean stew served with rice Seabass with rice, served with tabahej - cubed potatoes with aubergines, peppers, etc - & a side salad, pickled veg & chilli Everything was delicious, esp the mubattan which was freshly fried & the interesting texture of farkassi. The fish was cooked well, with crisp skin & the chilli went really well with it. The stew was tasty too though it was kinda lukewarm. Lamb was a decent portion. The soup was piping hot, thick and hearty which was perfect for the cold weather. It was meant to be served with some bread but we weren't given this. They have a number of biscuits (£4 per pack) on display so we got some for a friend to try. Everything came up to £41. In terms of opening hours, staff clarified that they open at 12 everyday but at 2pm on Fridays. It would be nice to visit again in future & try other things on the menu!

Me and my family are regular customers of Zoroona. Their food never fails to amaze us & the staff are very welcoming. Also make frequent visits with friends, it is one of our preferred restaurants as it’s a very safe and homely environment for us as women.
