It’s a very healthy concept. But the hot spice option is actually too much of sauces which would have lots of salt.Chicken dint taste as chicken and the beets were stale.The place is lovely though.The freshness could be improved.

Placed an order online, 20 mins after they accepted the order, they decided to reject. It’s a shame as I was looking forward to trying it, but never this place again.

I went in yesterday excited to try this place and have a nice, healthy poka bowl. I went in along with a friend and ordered the buffalo bowl, as I was advised that this was one with a lot of “spice” to it. I ordered it with friend chicken as protein. I was shocked when I received my order. The cabbage tasted old and stale? The chicken, was not even chicken, but mere kids chicken frozen nuggets, that were soggy and tasted of nothing; the rice was cold and hard; and to add to the damage, they poured sour basic cheap tomato puree on top and topped it with sesames that weren’t even toasted. Please avoid, if you want to spare £10 on a bad lunch.

I went here for lunch and had an unpleasant experience. The chicken looked boiled and lifeless with sauce thrown on top. The sauce tasted like it was from a packet and the bowl was mostly full of pickles and beans. My friend had the fried chicken which tasted exactly like southern fried chicken nuggets with sauce poured on top. Will not be returning here again.

I went to Zoka and ordered with a need to have something healthy yet fulfilling considering I was feeling unwell and miserable. The person who served me , Philip (sorry if I got your name wrong mate), had a lovely chat with me and recommended the most nourishing bowl, and left a very thoughtful message for me on the take out box. Thank you for making my day!

The place is nice and charming. The food was fast and fresh, . The bubble tea was wonderful! the owner was very friendly and kind. I will deffo be returning .

Ordered through UberEats. Very bad, avoid at all costs! Old grey chicken topped with Katsu sauce. None of the vegetables fresh. Everything really bland…no taste. Rice salty.

Gorgeous day to sit out on the wee patio and have a late lunch. I ordered the nano sized Golden Dragon bowl with steamed chicken. Food was delish!! Service was friendly and fast. Defo recommend!

Great tasting bowls and large portion sizes. They mainly cater to taking away as there is limited seating inside.

Fantastic food and a friendly face. Phillip was a great host. I for one will certainly will be back for more. Would highly recommend if you are wanting tasty nutritious food.

Lovely little place with good food and friendly staff. The choice of sauces, protein, and extras are excellent. Pictured are nano Buddha and Samurai smoked tofu bowls, with additional kimchi - delicious and generous portions for the smaller option! Have previously tried the other sauces options too which are also great. Service is very quick too.

Tried to order a simple and small order (while the restaurant was open) and had my order rejected. No reason given.

Excellent food, can take a while to come out as it's freshly prepared, but tastes really good.

Worst bubble tea I've ever had, which is a pity since the food here looks nice. I had the black sugar milk tea with tapioca. The pearls were bloated with no taste or chewiness, the tea was super plain, with only a vague roasted chestnut (?) aftertaste. Really disappointing:( The server was kind and polite though.

Really tasty food, very filling, liked being able to choose all the sauce/add ons as you go. Staff friendly & fixed a problem straight away. Will be back when we are back in Leics.

The food was great, very filling and extremely enjoyable. They initially forgot to give me my drink. When I went back to get it the guy was apologetic, gave me two drinks and a free meal token. Will definitely be going back in to redeem that token.

Such an underrated place! They have amazing food and has such a nice atmosphere and vibe, I would absolutely recommend this place and the gunpowder poke bowl. It tastes amazing and the staff is extremely nice and friendly!

The Cauliflower wings are amazing! The portions are huge. It's definitely worth trying.

Got the samurai bowl, it was extremely salty to the point I doubt even Americans would eat it due to how much salt is in it. Was also very sour to the point where it could not be finished. Overall was very sour and salty which meant food couldn't be eaten properly, even after multiple attempts of trying to finish it. Plus side is that there's alot of veg it which is nice until it gets too salty and sour to handle

A great little spot for a light meal. Choose your base flavour/combination and then add your protein on top. Veggie/vegan options are great. Highly recommend the fried agedashi tofu topping.

I bought lunch from Zoka for first time today.....absolutely delicious... I purchased the Gunpowder bowl with chicken......tasty and an adequate amount of food in the bowl. I'm delighted to find a healthier option to buy during a work day .....the premises looked clean and very new. The prices are reasonably for the current market surrounding food costs. I would recommend Zoka and will be returning.....

Looking for lunch on a trip to Leicester and plumped for this place from the plethora of eateries on offer. Very glad I did, the Donburi macro bowl with smoked tofu was excellent, super tasty and great value, but the buffalo cauliflower wings were amazing. Wish I lived closer, give them a try.

The golden dragon was great, as well as the cauli wings! All the staff were so nice and patient to explain about the dishes i ordered!!!

Love this place! Found it on Uber Eats and have ordered about 4-5 times in the last week for my lunches! They do a buy-one-get-one-free deal on the app! Very delicious, packed with veggies, sauce and rice! New favourite for sure <3

The food is incredible and really good value for money. Good gluten free options on the mains too! Will deffo be back for more! *EDIT* I went back for more and it was RANK!!! I haven't been able to eat it and won't be back again.

Disappointing- ordered the Buddha bowl with smoked tofu. It was very salty and lacked any freshness to balance out the salt. I had to add my own carrot and cucumber to make it edible. It was 80% rice in a salty sauce- not what I was expecting. Glad the price was low.

Spotted this place while working in the area and had to try. Love a the healthy Buddha bowl style kind of lunch. Here just pick your bowl (variety of flavours), your protien and any toppings and your good to go, loads of options. Will be back again! I went for The gunpowder bowl with chicken 👌🏽. The Guanchang is just 🤌🏼.

Nice spot on King Street. Very delicious food, tasted fresh and healthy. Good number of options, quantity and price are very fair for the quality.

Having lived there and visited many times. This is not Japanese food. Its at best, Californian healthy eating fusion stuff. A carbon copy of Itsu perhaps, which is also bad BTW.

Amazing taste. Really great quality food

The food was really nice when we finally got it. The initial man server we had seemed very disinterested and got the order wrong. So ended up waiting about 30 mins to finally get the correct food (sitting with a sleepy baby outside was not fun). So overall not a great first experience, but food was good enough to give another chance next time and hopefully improve our rating. Credit the women working out back who was far more accomodating.

This place is really good for a quick bite on lunch hour, the ingredients are super fresh too! I was getting bored of my usual place and I’m glad I found this! (Sometimes I order extra for dinner too) Love!

Absolutely amazing food experience!

Attended ZOKA's taster launch today where they were offering 50% off their whole menu. Great selection of food, fresh ingredients, amazing sauces. Operating from the Wicked storefront until they rebrand. Such a great addition to the neighbourhood!

Can be a little hard to find as it's currently operating inside wicked burger. Once inside they have a cool concept of basically picking your sauce, which I believe are all homemade in store, that then goes with your choice of protein, sticky rice and veg. The staff behind this new store are passionate and very friendly. The quality and taste of the food is very good too. Portion sizes are perhaps slightly on the small side. Also as it operates in a takeaway burger place there's not really anywhere to sit down and eat. It's good but is it worth £10? Personally I think that is a little steep, especially given the wide range of more affordable options available. So as a student, I probably won't be back again
