I tend to avoid large food chains as they often lack a bit of soul. I was however pleasantly surprised by Zizzi’s, I hadn’t been for years. The pizza was good, albeit slightly on the pricey side. Went with my two young kids, which can often be a challenge, however they were kept occupied with colouring in, and the restaurant was a big enough space so we didn’t feel we were too noisy for anyone. The chocolate sundae dessert was very good. Service was good… it was very quiet and there was more staff than customers but a quiet Sunday lunch. Overall a better experience than I expected.

Food was stone cold when finally delivered

We visited recently for a friend's birthday and the food was lovely. We were served by Atima and Bastien who provided great service and allowed us to bring our own cake from home to have for afters. We'll definitely be visiting again soon!

I have visited this business 3 times recently. NEVER EVER AGAIN. lukewarm or under cooked food, less than courteous staff, not worth. They still have the audacity to email me. STOP!!! Iam not EVER returning

We went for a birthday meal, however the service was terrible. Had to wait ages for any service, I in the end had to go over a few times, they didn't take dishes away promptly. One of the main courses came out cold. I expected more from this chain. The layout for the restaurant doesn't help if you are seated near the door as the waiting staff just don't come to that wait much at all. The food it self was decent size and tasty. Maybe I just need to go to other branches to get good service.

I just returned from a wonderful dinner at Zizzi in South Woodford and felt compelled to share my experience. The service was exceptional, and the festive menu additions were a delightful touch. Our server, Larissa, was warm, friendly, and full of energy, making the evening even more enjoyable. It’s unfortunate that staff turnover tends to be high in large chains like this, as losing someone like Larissa would be a real loss for the restaurant. Thank you for a fantastic night!

I celebrated my birthday at Zizzi- South Woodford- with a group of 22 people. Everything was perfect- food, atmosphere and service:) A huge thank you to Karina that made sure we’re looked after and the other manager- sorry can’t remember his name, he’s from Brazil- for making sure I had the best party and fir the Prosecco 🥂❤️

Just had a wonderful meal experience at Zizzi South Woodford. Our waitress Larissa was incredible. She was attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. The manager also was so wonderful. They served both myself and my 2 boys and made us feel at home. Really wonderful service. Will be back again soon.

I have been to a Zizi branch before - but not for a while. This was a pleasant surprise. Service was superb - the little snack that came with the drink was super lovely and original. My pizza made me gasp: years ago, I had some pizzas in a local place in Italy, and ever since nothing compared to these! Until today. The one I had: "Black Truffle Salami & Mushroom" was simply amazing. Taste, execution, etc. Perfecttion. My friends pasta looked good too.... We drank beer - and it was also unusual ! "Peroni Gran Riserva". Not seen before in the UK. Sure the chef contributed his expert. I truly hope other branches are as good... Will be back.

The manager Joao was really friendly and helpful. My phone was almost dead so he charged it for me and gave me great advice about how I could use my birthday offer. I had a delicious cocktail, free olives and a lovely lasagna to take away. Obrigada!

We go quite often to this zizzi restaurant branch, tonight children wanted to have pizza and pasta, we come over to zizzi, we had few starters and pizza for main corse Pizza were made to perfection, really good, the chef Bekim was professional and friendly, we love this zizzi, thank you guys,and Chef.

We always have a wonderful time here at Zizzi's South Woodford - Larissa is delightful and brings joy and humour to her service. Amazing kids' menu which always satisfies the young people and great selection of vegetarian and vegan options for the adults. A local gem.

My husband and I have an amazing experience with our waitress Larissa, very friendly and attentive, made us feel welcome. And the best food ever made by Eliana, which I had the pleasure to meet.

Nice atmosphere and layout, the staff here were very friendly and professional and patient with our group. Food came out quickly and was nicely presented and good. We brought our own cake and staff were helpful serving it up etc

28/06/2024. Our party of 10 was well looked after at all times by Liliana (the Mananger) and Bastien (the server). We had a lovely meal with choices from the set menu and also the a la carte menu.

I am very disappointed with today’s Uber eats order from Zizzi South Woodford. I ordered the meal deal with Rustica pizza+ fries and I also ordered a dessert and a drink. The pizza was made of two halves of pizzas and it was cold. It looked like they put two halves from other pizzas into my box and sold it to me as one. I used to be a regular customer, but today was a disappointment and I will not order from this shop or visit the shop again

One of the better zizzi’s in the region , my 3yr olds favourite. Good service from attentive and polite staff.

This is a pleasant Italian pizza and pasta restaurant with a flame oven for preparing pizzas. Clean and congenial atmosphere. Staff were OK. I had the Calizone which was delicious but expensive. Zizzi have really inflated their prices and this is the main issue with this chain. Children’s menu available. Toilet facilities untested! Parking is available at the local Sainsbury’s for up to two hours.

We ate at lunchtime so the restaurant was fairly empty so not very much of an atmosphere but otherwise excellent.
