Mi marido y yo visitamos Morello por primera vez. La primera cosa que nos dijo fue que algunas cosas ya había vendido, que era increíble, ya que estaba a sólo 8. 30! Nos gustó la decoración, pero quedé muy decepcionado con el muy lento, 'no podía ser molestada". Nos quedamos en la parte delantera del restaurante en nuestro propio que estaba un poco frío. La comida estaba bien, pero teniendo en cuenta que había sólo 18 personas más gente en un sábado por la noche no había ningún motivo para el mal servicio. Cuando manteníamos persiguiendo ellos para nuestra comida seguían diciendo que era porque hay un montón de grandes mesas, no llame a una mesa de 5 una gran mesa! Es una pena pero no se molesta en volver.

Muy decepcionados, ya que tenía ganas de un buen almuerzo con mi madre y su amiga hoy. Llegamos a las 1 de la tarde y las ventanas del patio estaban abiertas, y mesas dispuestas. El letrero en la puerta dice cerrado, así que llamé a través de la ventana abierta de preguntarnos qué tiempo que abre para el almuerzo. Me dijeron que no se abrían hasta la noche. En el sitio web de tripadvisor y en que Estados Unidos está abierto para el almuerzo martes a domingo de 12:00. No importa...tenía un encantador almuerzo en ninos en George Lane, a 2 minutos de distancia, así que gracias Morellos, no un favor

Tan increíble que creo que es la mejor palabra que puedo usar para Morello - encontré este lugar por accidente un martes por la noche. Cené allí con mi familia esta noche y disfrutamos muchísimo. Teníamos surf y turf via Groupon oferta para cuatro personas que consistía de tres langostinos empapados en salsa de mantequilla de ajo, hermosa vista y rib steak patatas salteadas y verduras de temporada, brócoli. Nos recibió un hombre muy agradable y educado joven él corrió el restaurante individual lo ha esta noche. Muy rápido, muy educado y el servicio speedy fue siempre toda la noche. Cuando la comida llegó, estaban muy bien presentados, sabía aún mejor y todo el mundo era feliz. Tres miembros de mi familia que servían ordenados calamares con salsa recién hecha, en vez gran porción tartar, bien vale la pena £5.50. Los filetes de costilla estaban bien condimentado y cocinado a la perfección. Las patatas fritas eran igualmente verdaderos asnos sabrosa y los tres ajos bañado langostinos eran excelentes en el lateral. Todos estábamos muy completa, por lo tanto no podía pedir los postres. Por favor.. muy Muy bien hecho a todo el personal y el camarero muy agradable. Buena suerte a ellos. Por favor, prueba este lugar, usted no será decepcionado. Sin duda volveremos. we walked in on a sunday evening around 7.40. said hello to the waiter who literally just grunted ( didn't say hello) and scowled and said the restaurant was closing at 9. we walked out and had a great dinner at an italian down the road from this restaurant. bizarre

Metimos en reservar una mesa para ver una película antes de las 20.30h en el Cine Odeon. Nos sentamos por 15 minutos antes de nuestra orden y bebidas fueron tomadas. El servicio era muy lento, quizás porque estábamos sentados en la parte delantera del restaurante y de la parte de atrás sonaba ocupado.

We booked a private lunch for 30 people on a Saturday for my son's Bar Mitzvah celebration and the restaurant was excellent. Large portions andn well presented with attention to detail - excellent, fantastic atmosphere and service second to none. We will be going back

We telephoned to book a few weeks ago for 8 and asked for a round table but were informed it was not possible. Eventually we booked a week later for any table for 8. Very surprised when we arrived that we were given a round table,. The restaurant was very popular for its fixed price (£22) menu for 3 courses but they have now stopped doing this which possibly explains why half the tables were empty. Despite that it took 40 minutes before we could get anyone to take our orders and it took 2 hours before we got our main course. I dread to think how long it would be if the restaurant was full. The food was very tasty but the liver portions were small and surely they can do better veg than the tiny portions of broccoli and carrots. We like this restaurant but are worried that it seems to be going down hill on the service side and will think long and hard about going back.

Yes, the food is really Italian, the staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend this resturant to other people.

Me and my friends spent New Year's Eve in morellos Resturante in South Woodford it was a absolute fantastic night.The meal was brilliant and the entertainment with Max was second to none.I would highly recommend this Resturant and also my son had xmas lunch there with our 3 grandchildren and loved it we will be going back again soon. Thanks to Alex and the staff BRILLIANT

Went for a birthday dinner. Booked table for 7pm only about 4 people when we arrived soon started to fill up.had soup and mt friend had calamari . Portions were very good then for main had breaded chicken with veg and potatoes. Which was good . Slight problem main course wasnt very hot !!! All in all good sevice nice restaurant and good atmosphere .

Had a great Christmas Night at this authentic Italian restaurant. Morello is a well decorated restaurant, clean and with a warm atmosphere. Last night there was a Marilyn Monroe tribute act which made the restaurant fun and exciting. The food was delicious and the portions are generous compared to other modern restaurants and the staff were more then helpful. Seems to attract nice customers too.

Our first visit, had heard good reviews. Restaurant is larger than it looks from outside. Quite pleasant decor, perhaps needs a little freshening up. We were with others so rather than order from the a la carte which we normally would have done we took their lead and ordered from the set menu. For the price it was fine, but you get what you pay for. To be honest I would have preferred to order from the main menu which looked very nice. I've never been a fan of set Sunday lunches . Our server Alex was very attentive. Whilst the lunch wasn't amazing I think it's worth anther try with the main menu.

First impression were very good table set out very nice lining napkins alway a good sign ,waiting staff very good menu ok .starter arrived prawn avocado was good ,mains roast beef not the best . Desert apple pie seen better days mango panna cotta turn out to be cherry alright if you like cherry . The worst part was when fillet of sole came complete with a peace of plastic the waiter apologise but the owner didn't seem to care . Will not be returning .

Went to an early showing of the new bond film and on the way to the car noticed this restaurant at 6-30 was open. We went on to be made very welcome. The menu was extensive and we had an absolutely delicious meal served by a charming waiter. It was good value for money and we will definitely be returning with our friends.

Eight of us attended last Sunday for a 70th birthday lunch. The set Menu offered a more than adequate selection of Starters and Mains. The food was plentiful, well cooked, and HOT! Service was efficient, friendly and professional. A birthday cake, baked on the premises to order was cut up and used for Dessert. Can only describe this as 'heavenly' and was as they say As light as a feather! For some in the party, this was a 1st visit. For all of us, it will definitely not be our last. Overall, a wonderful and enjoyable meal. Thank You so much.

This is a favourite of mine but it has been several months since I was here last. First impressions are that the special priced menus have changed. It seems to offer more choice but not better value. On the night we went service was very slow. However my biggest gripe is that it now seems due for a refurb. The decor looks a bit dated, the upholstery tired and some of the fixtures and fittings broken. Don't get me wrong the kitchen still delivers but food is not the only element to enjoy of a night out. Having said that they do offer music nights, with a fixed price meal, and they are great fun. As a local I just want it to be a simple classic menu, well priced wines, good service and a cared for environment. At the moment there are some sort comings.

Took my daughters for a family dinner and had great food great service and it was really good value would highly recommend for a Sunday evening 10% discount on the bill as well

Although we live in Norwich, our eldest son is based in South Woodford, and with the much improved A11/M11 roads, a pleasant drive down to meet up for a family lunch. Impressed by the reviews on TA, so booked a table for today. Restaurant ambience was excellent, it was quite warm and the patio doors at the front were open. Tables were dressed with "proper" linen and beautifully folded napkins. My wife and I are not fans of shabby chic! Service was prompt and friendly and the food was amazing. Our two sons have "hollow legs", but even they started to slow slightly, but we made it a point of honour to clear our plates. Special mention to the courgette and calamari starter, light crisp batter and a portion size that my son remarked would easily count as a main dish at less generous restaurants. Also my main course of pollo Milanese , and spaghetti Napoli, also the generous vegetable service, bread and olives. And the bill was a very nice surprise!

food was fabulous. Restaurant décor very nice and clean, staff very friendly and attentive would definitely recommend and go back again. Only problem trying to find somewhere to park. surrounding streets permit parking only. We did eventually find somewhere though.

Four of us had dinner here last night, three mains and one pasta /salad all was very good quality freshly cooked from a fairly recognisable italian menu. One hours wait but no problem.we would try again other items

We have been to this Restaurant many times with Family or Friends, either for Lunch or Dinner. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the choice of food is excellent. It has a set price menu for either a 2 course or 3 course meal and they have now also introduced an A La Carte menu​ (which we have not tried)​.We have always eaten off the set menu and found it is cheaper to have either the 2 or 3 courses rather than a 1 course.​ ​The food is excellent​,​ well presented​, good portions​ and there are several choices for Starters, Mains and Desserts.​ They use linen tablecloths and napkins, and the ambiance is very nice.​ ​We have always found the service very good.Weekends can be exceptionally busy and always advisable to book.​Parking can be a bit of a problem unless you have a Blue Disabled Badge, which enables you to park in the Main Road outside the Restaurant, but most people park in the side roads.We have eaten here many times, either for weekday Lunch, weekday or weekend Dinner and Sunday Lunch and have never, ever, been disappointed with the food or the service.

The service, quality of food, prices were very good. The portion sizes were also very good. I did enjoy the music there and the gentleman entertaining, however, it was difficult to talk as the music was very loud. I will be going back there, was impressed!

Took a very well travelled Italianophile friend for a special birthday treat and was not disappointed. Food was superb, one of the best Italian meals we've had outside Italy.

I started with leek and potato soup - not very Italian - and it was bland. I followed with salmon in champagne and cream sauce which was good but my husband had mushroom ravioli which he found to be very unexciting and had nothing with it to jazz it up.The restaurant has a low ceiling and was quite full which meant it was very noisy and made conversation quite difficult. We had a fairly pleasant evening but came away feeling that something had been lacking

I went with a load of friends. The staff seem quite disconnected. No friendliness at all unlike most Italians. The food was appalling. I'd never go back here!

I have visited Morellos on many occasions and it never fails to impress. Staff are very friendly and you always get a warm greeting. Food is well presented and well cooked and if you sit near the open kitchen you can see how hard the chefs work to get your meal to you.Prices are more than reasonable and their is always a nice atmosphere.

A group from a charity shop had a great night out in this restaurant. Even though the place was packed, the staff were excellent, the food was marvellous and brought to each table all together, piping hot and in good time.

Martino the chef is amazing cannot do enough to please. Liver and bacon to die for and with seperate hot mixed veg is amazing value. A jewel in South Woodford to be tried and not missed

The 3 course set menu is without a doubt good value and many loveley different courses to choose from, side dishes are included and done to perfection.........Yes the quality was excellant.One of the starters Mozzorella,tomato and avocado is loveley and not too overwhelming. (Main course) I had the calves liver with soft creamy buttery mash potatoes and fried onions the liver just melts in your mouth.On the previous visit I had a bolognese spag with veal escalope.....superb.The Montepulciano di Abruzzo (Red) is for me a consistantly a good choice, the desert I would recommend thge apple pie and ice cream.....its a wow factor.The portions are very generous, and the service is excellant.Service charge at your discretion. But they do in my opinion deserve a better tip than most other restaurants that serve awful food at stupid inflated prices.£22.50...................and we didnt have to go on a train or car, parking local after 6.30pm is free and also free on residential bays Sat/Sun

We'd walked past this place a number of times before finally giving it a go. The ambiance is nice and the service on the night was excellent. We opted for a 3 course set menu which was delicious and really good value. We're a bit spoilt in South Woodford when it comes to Italian restaurants but Morello is right up there with the best.

Nice ambience seating very comfortable, the food was beautifully cooked and the portions were of a good portion unlike other Italian restaurants (my starter was a plateful of calamari/zucchine fritte.).The three course set menu for £22.50 is remarkably good value, and includes several varied options, so you do not feel as if your choices are overly restricted. All side dish are inclusive of potatoes and vegetables on both the set and a la carte menus. Thus, with reasonably priced wines,our bill was a pleasant surprise! The service charge is also left to the customer's discretion, The service was efficient, warm and friendly.

First time and possibly the last. Good to be greeted by friendly staff and a comfy chair (unlike the gastropubs who like going down the salvage yard to find the cheapest eclectic bunch of wobbly chairs possible). The al la carte menu stapled to a card with very little information raised a little alarm. The bread basket was from the seventies. My chicken needed to swim in a sauce that was not spicy as instructed by a lady who appeared to be running the show as she literally answered for everyone. The heaps of vegetables would have suited my mother and here ladies at the WI, but when out at a supposedly smart restaurant you expect a little more sophistication. Hope that this was all an exception to the rule as the place was smart with a nice atmosphere.

We celebrated our wedding with 38 family and friends and the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us, all 38 guests said the food was delicious plus the in house entertainment was an added bonus. Thank you so much Morello restaurant.

For the third year running, we celebrated the New Year at Morello. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, in spite of being very busy. Whilst not the cheapest night out, the food is delicious and the portions generous.They really make it a party night, with Max, a fantastic singer who could give Michael Buble a run for his money. I haven't been there on any other occasion, but aim to this year as we enjoyed it so much.

We are quite new to the area, and decided to try Morello based on the excellent TripAdvisor reviews. We were really impressed by the quality of service and food, and the value! We went on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was just right - buzzing but it didn't feel too noisy. The service was perfect - very friendly, without being intrusive. The food was really delicious, and plenty of it without scrimping on quality. I'm particularly fussy about the meat I eat, and was very impressed here. Wine selections were also good, including an extremely nice dessert wine. We have recently eaten in an Italian restaurant in New York which charged at least 4 times the price, and where we were disappointed with the food. We couldn't help but compare it to our own Morello! We can't wait to go back.

The service charge is also left to the customer's discretion, which is another big plus, although on this occasion our experience warranted a tip of well over 10%!The service was efficient, warm and friendly without being over the top.All in all, this was a lovely family dining experience.

Terrible place here. Entire evening dragged out from start to finish. Sat in the window area which was tightly packed, our party was amongst others here out probably for the Christmas. We waited for a drink for ages after waiting to be seated and relax, surely waitress barked out the menu. I had a chicken breast for main and calamari starter which was rubbery and expensive. The chicken was over cooked and was in an awful sauce that made it inedible. The vegetables were bland and tasteless. Everyone in my party complained about the food. Had it not been our firms party I would have paid and gone after the starters. Very bad here. Never again.

We had our Company Christmas Lunch here (for 50 people) and it was fantastic. The staff accommodated all our pre-requests with ease and bent backwards to make sure all the guests were happy.My manager even told Felicia (Owner of Morello's) that this is where the company will be coming next year!!Well done to all the staff at Morello's.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and the last. The food was barely average. Service was OK - the waitresses were adequate but I was totally underwhelmed by the people skills of the manageress.

Words fail me to describe our dining experience this evening. No sign of a menu or a drink despite being seated for 35 minutes, no apologies for being kept waiting and quite possibly the only restaurant I have ever been in that only allows one person to take the whole restaurants orders (who by the way, approaches this task with a fair amount of poor attitude ). One of our party had the calamari, which unfortunately made an appearance 20 minutes later. Needless to say we did not eat our mains. I can safely say that none of us would ever return.

My husband and I have been eating at this restaurant for a few years now and love it as do our friends that have come with us at times. We have found the staff friendly and they always remember our names and what we drink. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is chilled which in my mind is a winning combination!

Really didn't like this restaurant Found the staff particularly unfriendly ... One particular male waiter especially had a very strange way about him.. Kept on making strange comments like he was trying to be funny ... WeirdFood was ok ... Certainly nothing to write home about .. Atmosphere average at bestWould not recommend and won't be going back

I love the sense of being treated as a special customer rather than the casual in & out atmosphere of so many restaurants these days.The staff are courteous and professional. There are cloths on the table. And if you order slightly off menu they are always happy to accommodate.I have never had a bad meal here on the 5-6 times I have visited. I would use it more but for dietary restrictions ie coeliac so pasta & sauces are generally out.Modern decor but in a traditional slightly formal fashion. Refreshingly smart in an over casual world. Keep up the good work Morello's else we have nowhere else but tarted up Kebab shops...

Had a wonderful meal with excellent service from Morello italian restaurant. The garlic prawns were totally fresh and marvellously prepared. The lobster linguine (with pasta done "al dente" by request) was really superb! Loved it and would go back in a flash. The Italian owner made us feel very comfortable and went out of her way to make sure our food was prepared the way we like it!

We enjoyed our second visit to Morello Ristorante and again we were not disappointed. A great atmosphere with very friendly helpful staff.We opted for the 3 course meal at £20.50 per head. Usually with offers like this restaurants offer you a separate (in some cases inferior) menu. This is NOT the case at Morello’s as the three courses are selected from the main Al La Carte menu. The service was excellent, the food beautifully cooked and well presented, served hot and with very generous portions. They also offer a good reasonably priced wine list. We have booked for their “Elvis Presley” evening in October and are looking forward to that.

I been to this restaurant with my husband and my son and we all loved the food. It's a great place when you have children as you can enjoy great meal (I had the lobster that was on special board and my husband the filet steak) and my son a pizza! What else can you ask? We have the Gavi di Gavi wine which was really lovely. The restaurant is beautiful and we could sit outside

We have been here a few times and each time we have enjoyed the food and service. Very good food with ample portions and very reasonable. The set Sunday lunch menu and the set evening menu are excellent value.

Out to dinner with friends Saturday 3 May who highly recommended this restaurant. Very friendly and efficient waiting staff. Lovely crisp white tablecloths and relaxed atmosphere. Good Al la Carte menu, food very tasty, well presented and good sized portions. Good selection of wine etc. Overall cost for the evening was excellent value.No car park but we had no difficulty finding a parking place off street very close to the restaurant. The restaurant's website is easy to use and very informative.We look forward to a return visit.

Had a party of 6 booked for the New Years Eve. Starter described as 'half lobster and avocado' was a scooped out shell filled mainly with lettuce and a bit of 'fish meat' covered in a sauce. I could not taste it as lobster but who would know as they had interfered with it. My main of a veal chop was dreadful, overdone, tasteless except for the pungent covering of a creamy sauce. Several others in my party complained about the food, one had the beef Wellington that she described as 'tough as a boot and inedible'. Another had a very poor fish option meal, again covered in cream and a tiny portion. All meals accompanied by soggy vegetables. Pudding options were just about acceptable. Very disappointing evening, rubbish food, over-zealous constant topping up of wine glasses despite being asked not to and all this for an eye watering rip of price of £70.00 a head! This was our groups second visit but we will certainly not be going as we felt that we had been taken advantage of.

Quite local to us, and never tried so booked for Sat eve. I was told it was the last table so knew it would be busy, and it was. Very nice inside with tasteful decor, and much larger than it looks from the street.Orders were taken reasonably quickly, and the wine arrived in good time. Starters were a little slow, but very decent. I had a very nice crayfish and smoked salmon salad, which came as a hefty portion (our expectations foodwise were not sky high, given the very reasonable pricing). Then the wait. And the wait. And the wait. Very few people around were actually eating anything, and we realised there were large tables adjacent who had been waiting longer for mains than we had. We ordered another bottle, resigned to it being a tipsy night (there were 3 of us) and still the wait went on. I complained, was told "it's coming" and brought another bottle of wine on the house, which we neither wanted nor needed. That made the wine tally one each.Eventually, our mains arrived ONE AND THREE QUARTER HOURS after entering the restaurant. It was a shame, as the food was nice enough with crisp veggies and succulent chicken, but by this time our hunger had passed as had our sobriety, Why do restaurants insist on selling out to capacity when the kitchen plainly cannot cope with the demand? It's a very straight forward menu, with nothing adventurous or involved, after all.When I explained why we were not paying the (not included) service charge, the waiter said "it was nothing to do with me", which was not really the point. He also promised it wouldn't happen again if we returned, but we do not feel inclined to take the risk.The food, drink and general ambiance warrants far more than 1 star, but in the circumstances it is all I can give.

Had our first visit last night .from the moment we walked in service was first class shown to our table coats taken hung up on hangers in wardrobe in the restaurant..Staff were a little aprehensive as they had a big party coming in half hour .We were informed the chef was off the owner was cooking poor chef this man can cook ,the standard was so high first class presentation ,quality, everything faultless .started with smoked duck breast my partner had,calamari huge portion of calamari( if thats a critism).then calves liver 1 plain fried 1 with red wine sauce fresh vegatables prepared and cooked to perfection ( no grissell or tubes )just creamy melted in your mouth beautiful !DesertTiramisu perfect ie not from iceland HA HA Nonna tart fabulous too and a very fine prosheccoThe service was second to none, attentative but not overbearing despite 60 people party who arrived as we were having our meal !We were not rushed my partner eats very slowly. a truly memorable evening thankyou Morello we will be back and will most definately recommend youbest value in this area.if you can apreciate quality look no further !!!

I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening. It is certainly not the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to but the food was good and the prices were reasonable. The service was good, and the waiters were very attentive. I wouldn't rush back but we did enjoy our evening.

Morello's has a few menus apart from a la carte. Whitebait, calamari and asparagus are great starters and the chicken and veal dishes are lovely, all accompanied by fresh vegetables. There's a good selection of beers and wines and the management Is very attentive. You need to book for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The waiting staff are very attentive and pleasant.

We booked last week,hadn,t eaten there before so went open minded.It is a typical Italian restaurant,Mama oversees all,staff actually are italian not polish or algerian putting on fake accents,the food was excellent and the portions were very good.the staff actually can speak english contrary to a previous review ,i had no trouble understanding them and them me!.There is plenty of room between the tables.The biggest shock was how cheap it was!and still good food.i thoroughly reccomend this restaurant for a real Italian experience[thats always a bit wacky!]

My first visit to Morello might not have happened as the sign said "closed". Hopefully, it was the cold and miserable day and not the erroneous signage that meant my mother and I were the only patrons for lunch. The lunch-time menu was limiting and not particularly imaginative. Though we could not fault the quality of the soup and pasta dishes devoured we had to remind the waiter to bring us bread. The service was by and large acceptable. However, I appreciate the concerns of other contributors regarding the staff's command of English. Being a nosey chap I found the frosted squares on the window a hindrance. Watching the world go by is part of the pleasure of eating out. One can only take so much of the black and red decor; which appears to appeal to most visitors. I suspect my experience would have been more enjoyable if the sun had introduced itself or I had popped in for an evening meal instead. Willing to return for dinner.

great food, lovely staff - attended with my friends on a friday night and a saturday evening. Service was excellent, food was good, staff were very attentive and friendly.

I took my girlfriend here for her 23rd birthday. We were both pleasantly suprised with the posh and tasteful interior, with fancy red serviettes and excellent interior design. I don't usually care about music in a restaurant, but this was very good. I think it would be classified as swing, which is not something I listen to, but it worked really well. Our waitress was polite but fairly disinterested. For some reason our menus took 2 or 3 minutes to get to us, presumably in the hope that we would order more drinks. The menu was good with lots of choice between unusual types of meat. My girlfriend remarked that it was not a usual Italian - with only a small section at the bottom of the menu for a generic pizza and pasta that could be tailored to your requirements.The drinks came quickly and were reasonably priced. Both starters were excellently presented and tasted great. However things then began to go downhill. For main I went for the veal (which I've never had before) in lemon and butter sauce and my gf had the chicken kiev. I've never had veal before but it's not the most impressive of meats going by this. It was thin and pale. However any taste it may have had was demolished by the overpowering of the lemon sauce which was very boring and unoriginal. The potatoes and vegetables that came with it were tasteless and unimaginative and not what you'd want from such a place. My girlfriend's kiev was the biggest I've seen and didn't taste great.When it came to desserts; standards dropped considerably. I love lemon tart and will nearly always get it if it's on the menu. Morello had lemon and pine kernel which worried me but I was too full for the chocolate tarte so opted for it anyway. It came, and it was well presented. However presentation becomes irrelevant when something tastes that bad. Worst lemon tart I've ever had. I barely stomached a mouthful. So tasteless and I have no idea what the pine kernels were doing. Girlfriend ordered a fruit salad which I think she liked.We did the 3 courses for £19.50 which is great value-for-money, however although everything about the restaurant was great, at the end of the day it comes down to the food - which was fairly poor.

We have been to Morello a few times and have been impressed on every occasion. We went again to celebrate our engagement with a group of friends and all the staff made it a very special night for us. The food was a delight, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere extraordinary! This is REAL italian food!

4 friends - 1 of whom could not get there till 3/4 hour after the table was booked. No problem. We ordered starters and when our late friend arrived, we had just got our starters, they suggested he order a cold starter which they could rustle up quickly - very helpful. We all ordered different mains from pasta to meat dishes - all very tasty. With drinks and 2 bottles of wine and service just £34 each - very good value for money and will defo be back.

Took 7 of my girl friends there for a birthday and we all LOVED the food! Starters and main were delicious and large portions too. The bill came to £184 between us including wine so about £20 a head, not bad if you can afford it. Highly recommend. Maybe go on a saturday night when it's busier.

went to this eatery on a wednesday evening it was very quite infact we were the only table there shame because a nice place.Found the staff abrupt food quite nice but small portions.Overcharged on our bill by £9 so watch this

Lovely food at Morello's and a must for any authentic italian food lover. Portions are very big and well worth the money.Service is good and breaks between courses make the dining experience pleasant. You don't often come across authentic italians given most areas are dominated by Pizza Express, Zizi's and Prezzo but forget them and go here instead.

South woodford is plagued with chain, boil in a bag so called Italian resturants, Morello's does not conform to this at all!! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and service is professional!They also have a singer once a month. A 5* performance all round!!!

Sono stata in questo ristorante Italiano a inizio luglio insieme con 2 amici. Il locale è molto accogliente e ben arredato. I piatti che ci siamo fatti servire erano raffinati e ben presentati...... anche la pizza niente male.Ogni piatto ci è stato presentato in modo dettagliato dalla proprietaria, molto gentile. Sono buoni anche gli abbinamenti con i vini consigliatici dal cameriere.I motivi per i quali vi consiglio di andarci :La cucina è cosi buona che ti accorgi solo quando esci che sei in Inghilterra e non in ItaliaIl locale e il servizio sono ottimi e anche dal lato economico niente male. ....... Spero di ritornarci!!!

I've rated this restaurant "Very Good" only because the food was amazing!! I'm not a fan of Italian food but I must say yesterday's experience did blow me away. 7 of us went for a birthday dinner. Starters to dessert/tea was lovely! Only problem was the waiters cannot speak very well english which we found hard to communicate with. Again service was good but they didn't understand what was being said to them.The outside interior looked very cheap and I wouldn't go in if I was ever passing by but because I've heard good reviews from my friends we thought we'd give it a go and we don't regret it at all. Interior/Toilets are beautiful and clean. Prices per person wasn't bad either :) Will I go there again? Only for italian, yes!!! Oh and there's no service charge.

Owner's like a battle-axe, scary when you're ordering! Make sure you know what you want because if you don't, she may strangle you.Staff were wearing unclean shirts, especially the one with a tattooed neck. They were also very forgetful (forgot 2 out of 3 drinks orders) and did not seem overly interested in their customers (I had to actually go to the bar to get my drinks as it was impossible to catch their eye even after 15 mins of trying). Final moan about service / staff is that we were told that we weren't allowed custard with the Sunday set meal, but table next to us had it!Food was ok: calamari starter was superb, but chicken Milanese main was very greasy and flavourless..Don't think I'll be back to be honest.

I've been to Morello many times and I would raccomment it..the lobster linguine is absolutly great,and scallops with bacon aswell..the atmosphere is very friendly ,The service is excellent and Felicia and Martino are always welcoming us and looking after us all throught the dinner...We'll go there again for sure!
