Zizzi - Rushden Lakes in East Northamptonshire

It’s been a while since I've been to Zizzi’s and they’ve definitely upped their game with some delicious menu choices. Would like to say a big thank you to our waitress Gocia who made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Good service isnt always easy to come by nowadays but she was lovely and clearly loves her job. Thank you!

First visit to Zizzi, food and service was excellent

Gosia was our waitress. Very good service, very helpful and friendly. Seating in restaurant could do with refurbishing as tears in the seating and wood hanging down.

Gosia was an excellent server. Attentive and knowledgeable.

Looked like a nice place to dine from the offset, went in to pleasant smiley staff. First thing I saw in the open kitchen area was flies hovering around the pizzas being prepared, should really have seen this as an omen, everyone of us was sick and on the toilet multiple times the next day. Never ever eating at this location again.

Lovely staff but dreadfully slow service. Took 2 hours to eat starter and main.. seemed to be serving takeaways instead of restaurant customers 😒

Gosia was absolutely amazing, from the very beginning big smile and very friendly attitude. She was very professional and on this same time give us so much fun. I used to work in hospitality and restaurant for a very long time and I know how good staff work and she is one of them. We had great time. THANK YOU GOSIA !

Waited a whole hour for a bowl of pasta and a pizza before deciding enough is enough and just leaving hungry (couldn’t miss our film!). They had 3 staff in the whole place on a Saturday night. We went out expecting a meal and ended up sat on the bench outside with a Greggs instead 😂 funnily enough, you could collect food within 20 minutes on their app! Needless to say you couldn’t pay me to go back.

Our visit to this restaurant was 5 star excellent service food piping hot and delicious the waitress was very professional and courteous would highly recommend 👍👍👍👍👍

Excellent evening. Food was delicious and service by Helena was a friendly and efficient. Starter was Fondue.... absolutely tasty Mains for me was Cabonara my wife the Lasagna. Both mains were of a high standard and delicious. Great evening

What a surprise! We went late on a Saturday evening with my husband and although we did not have a reservation, we were seated shortly after our arrival and the place looked super busy. Not only the food was great but the lovely Gosia spoiled us! Nothing was too much trouble and she checked on us without being intrusive. It took us ages to order but Gosia was there ready for us. We had a starter each, a salad and a calzone. I really liked the food and atmosphere and having someone so attentive with their customers is not easy to come across. We will be definitely going back!

Arrived at 7pm and ordered quickly. Pleasant young lady who had just returned from uni doing dance. Off to a good start with the starters. Garlic bread and calamari. The calamari was massive but only one small pot of dipping sauce. Then the wait came.... our mains took 1.5 hours, coming out at 8.45. We asked where they were and were offered a free drink from a lovely young lady who had only been there 2 weeks. We were told that there were no tuscan potatoes available and we could have chips or sweet potatoes. When they arrived one meal came out incorrect. We highlighted this to the supervisor, who seemed not to believe me. Took the food away for clarification. On return my veg was cold but had the correct potatoes. When the supervisor asked would we like anything else we were told there were no condiments available. I was told it's not her fault so don't complain to me. (For clarification she was the supervisor). Very disappointing experience. Chicken milanese needed a sauce with it like it used to otherwise its just a dry chicken escalope. The two waitresses worked hard and kept a smile on their faces despite the carnage and lack of support from the supervisor.

Fast and fantastic service and food

Amber had incredible customer service, the food was amazing and I would definitely consider returning. If there was an option for 6 stars I would give it!

Lovely place good atmosphere very clean and tidy super friendly staff lady that served us Phoebe was very helpful and polite young lady amber at tge front of house was also very helpful and polite very pleasant evening we had great service alround would highly recommend.

All the waitresses were lovely and had gotten us seated very quickly. When we ordered our food, it had only taken a few minutes to arrive. The food was delicious, and the service was second to none. If one was able to add more stars, I would. The bill didn't take too long as Amber was very efficient. Would highly recommend

Very friendly and good service, also brought a complementary dish. Food arrived quickly. Good vibes. The only downside - not a lot of healthy options if you are o a diet as everything coated in olive oil. Vegan dishes clearly marked on the menu.

Went here today with a friend, I was fancying pasta but when I saw on the menu that they have Panfried Seabass, I ordered that instead! Also ordered mozzarella and garlic bomb for starter , this alone filed me up, nice soft and freshly baked. Couldn't accommodate a dessert. was well stuffed after a starter and main. :)

Great tasting Lasagne al-forno with flat bread garlic bread. Went early on Wednesday 3 July. Not many at that time. Good service and meal. Will be back. Thanks to all staff. John x

Our waitress Gosia was an absolute delight and service was exceptional as was the food. Will definitely come again.

We had a lovely meal at Zizzi’s Rushden Lakes. The food was delicious and staff attentive.

Good Zizi’s however not the best. Looks and feels very small and tiny however massive free CAR PARK just outside. Only a few outside terrace tables. Not a lot of privacy inside cause the tables are too close to each other. Good food, nice staff, professional service, quick. I’d recommend.

Went here with the family last week and again we had a lovely time. Its one if me kids favourite places to go out for dinner. Not only is the food nice but all the staff are Friendly too. Our waitress was called Gosia and as always she was excellent, attentive and engaged with everyone at the table, nothing was too much and did it all with a smile. Great too see there are still people and companies who make experiences so much nicer when eating out. Can't wait for our next visit.

Beautiful tasty food. Service was good and attentive. Went late afternoon on a Saturday and not massively busy so no long waits for food or any needs. Now go quite often and recommend to friends. Top place.👍🏻

First time going to a zizzi restaurant certainly won't be the last. From start to finish outstanding service. Megan our waitress was excellent nothing was too much for her. Food was to die for the starter mushroom brindisi was delicious 😋 as was the rest of the food. FIRST CLASS

Zizzi Rushden Lakes no longer take cash!! So once the tesco vouchers stop what reason will there be to go there? Food is average. Very small portions. No longer a fan. 😞

We had a lovely meal tonight at Zizzi Rushden Lakes made even better by the fantastic services. Aaston deserves a special shout out for just being him and providing such great entertainment.

The staff in this restaurant are highly skilled and knowledgeable. I usually have a lot of questions about the dishes and drinks - they took their time to tell me about how they taste. They helped us inside with our belongings (single mum with 2 kids) and took good care of us all evening. Thank you to everyone and it’s defo become one of our favourites no doubt!

I was here for my friends birthday and we were excited to eat. Ordered at 3pm and got our drinks 5 minutes later which is good but the food which was 2 margarita pizzas and risotto took more than an HOUR to get to us and when the pizza was served it was cold. Birthday ruined!!

Seven of us dined on Saturday evening (27th April) and thoroughly enjoyed the busy vibe, the tasty food and great service led by our Server, Penny. Personally I am not the greatest fan of chain restaurants but Zizi's Rushden Lakes is definitely providing a great place to eat, particularly if you enjoy a happy, noisy (but not too noisy) environment with great atmosphere and staff.

Penny our server was amazing. She made the meal perfect. She is such a talent and great waitress. 5 stars for her *****

Called in for a late lunch, very friendly waitress met us and took our order. Food was good although perhaps the mushroom risotto could have had a few more mushrooms in it. Still it was tasty. I had a pepperoni pizza which was very good indeed. The atmosphere was affected by the fact that it was very quiet and sitting beside the window was slightly chilly. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat there again.

Been multiple times and it’s always great. Staff are lovely. Food is great. Atmospheres is really nice!! Would recommend.

Quick service, clean restaurant, good food. Had the rustique pepperoni campagna and was just above average imo with the crust having a good chew but could have used a bit more cooking time. Tried a bite of the calzone which was quite tasty and would have ordered myself but was unsure of the ingredients available in it. Bill came to just over £70 for 3 people and would have expected just a bit more for the price.

Seen a big improvement with speed of service since last year. Waitresses were very attentive and professional. Molly served us and we were happy with her service. Food was on point, all cooked to perfection and the chips were great 👍 Will defo be back :)

Just to reiterate what other reviewers have said the manager with the brown hair and glasses is so so rude and obnoxious in the way she speaks to paying customers, surprised she didn’t end up wearing my dinner! wouldn’t come back in a hurry

I went to Zizzi’s for Mother’s Day and thoroughly enjoyed myself as did my mom. She wasn’t feeling well, however, our waitress Gosia was a star and was really accommodating. She was so kind, funny and had great interpersonal skills.

We have been to this restaurant twice now and the staff and service have been absolutely amazing. First time we went it was so busy and feel they would benefit from a more staff as it was very slow. I'm not keen on chain restaurants however I have to say both times the pasta was amazing and cooked perfectly. Will definitely return :)

Great atmosphere, food was absolutely delicious and the portions were very generous for the pricing. The server we had was fantastic too!

A little disappointing especially regarding the App, or should I say Apps, required to order food. Two Apps required to benefit from 'Zizzi points", both of which are badly implemented. The main orderi g App simply failed to work and order had to be taken manually preventing points being generated.

Good food & service. I've been to the branch in Gloucester too. It's similar. Apologies for the pictures not being great. Missing pictures are the starters - was too excited to tuck in.

Our waitress was lovely but the Strawberry Sparkle drink priced at £5 was a complete rip off. It was tasteless and was full of soda water. The arancini balls were also tasteless and instead of the tomato dip listed on the menu, came with a honey dip. Little niggles, but both items really were appalling.

Just what you'd expect! Lovely pizza, good service and nice staff. Catered for kids well and the food arrived quickly and was nice and hot.

Brilliant and it was all down to our waitress Gosia! She made normal family dine out to feel special and unforgettable. Attentive, super funny and friendly. Can’t remember better waitress we had.

Our first visit to Zizzi and it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff, loads of choice of delicious food. The restaurant and toilets were spotless. It was a busy Friday evening but we still had a very attentive waitress who was lovely. Absolutely amazing. Looking forward to our next visit.

I am very disappointed for the service that the lady that works there give us. I think she was a manager there. She was very bed with kids looking all the time to them very bed like thay was bothering her. But she has to understand that thay are kids and will make a little noise. She served the food to us like we was eating free not paying for the service. I really she gives me a bed filling and the food wasn’t good. Definitely I don’t recommend that place.

We had a really bad service from the manager very RUDE .service really bad ,we felt uncomfortable the way how she was looking at us ,she shouldn’t be working there .we definitely not going back there 👎

It's a small restaurant but that gives it a nice atmosphere. Was busy but we had quick service, the food was hot and enjoyed by us all. Ravioli, Sticky Pig pizza and linguini. We have always been fans and never been disappointed. Obviously not the cheapest but a lovely treat. Parking easy as on the Lakes site. Booking online available too.

Told we need to use qr code to order food, most of the menu items missing. Long waits for a server to take the order manually. Lots of issues with the food, bones found, little to no meat in meals. A salted caramel brownie with no salted caramel in sight.... Servers not interested in resolving issues. Emailed the restaurant who have denied everything and backed the staff which is good in some respects but not from the customers point of view.

We went to celebrate our daughters 30th birthday. Our experience was very good. A great atmosphere and excellent service. I did feel the prices were a tad expensive but we have noticed this across the board but a soft drink at £4! Anyway food was good and we each had the 3 course menu at £25/person plus drinks , which I thought was reasonable. Good location with good parking free for five hours. Keep a look out for vouchers to help keep the cost down. Definitely going back .

Food ok, one server was good the other one just ignored us when trying to attract her attention. Lacking staff

Brilliant service, such friendly staff with great personalities. Food was delicious too and quick to arrive. Zizzi perks was also explained to us as hadnt really used it before.

To avoid! They do not accept cash which is illegal, no one can not accept cash in current currency. When I pointed out to her that I would report her, and not the company, since she was the one who was following an illegal procedure, she said that it's not that they don't accept cash but that the company forces them not to accept it but that yes, you can pay cash. The poor service given the lack of staff, angry faces and no smile, not even the classic fake one upon entering and the pizza I ate was nothing special apart from the super high price, £16 for a pizza worth maybe £5. Fake Italian restaurant chain to avoid.

Very much so enjoy coming here, consistent great great food and overall atmosphere, very cozy and welcoming. Very much so recommend asking for waitress Gosia! She’s incredibly patient, warm, accommodating and funny. Gosia really made our experience ! If you’re hungry and at the Lakes deffo swing by!
