Had a great experience on Saturday, food was amazing but the service from Mo was fantastic. He's always fantastic 5/5.

Mo was great! The restaurant was quick and efficient to get in, sit down and eat.

Mo A was so lovely and welcoming even despite coming an hour til closing. This is the only Zizzi I go to because of the staff. Always a recommendation if you’re looking for a nice, lovely atmosphere for lunch or dinner!

Went to Zizzi in the metrocentre withy family and once again we were very impressed. When we arrived the restaurant looked very busy but the manager found us a table for 4 immediately. Our server (Catherine) was extremely good at her job and made us all feel very welcome. Both of my children ordered from the children’s menu (they both had the vegetable sticks starter and a ham and pepperoni pizza for main) whilst my wife and I ordered the fondue sharing starter which we know everyone in the family enjoys tucking into (it’s so good we often consider going there for lunch just to share the starter). My wife had a spicy pizza and I had spaghetti carbonara. Everyone enjoyed the food and it was ample to feed us all. Whilst we were there another table had a couple of young children who had been seated away from their carer/parent (I assume to give the kids some non-adult time). It was noticeable how all of the staff treated them exactly the same way as they would an adult. This was more evidence of the excellent service in there. Zizzi is fast becoming a family favourite!

We went there today for a bit of pizza and pasta. Ok the food itself was ok , but for me not enough pasta.My bolognese portion was basically a childs portion and for £15 was not good value for money. I mentioned this to the waitress who informed that it was the standard portion .Well your standard portion sucks.The pizza was the thin type and filled a whole plate , and was ok. Service was just average. Quite a pricy place and I certainly would not return for a long time.

Lovely food, delivered on time. Well packaged, portions a little small mainly on the pasta, but delicious and thoroughly enjoyed!

Often come here for dinner. Food always nice, good variety and different flavours. Chocolate bomb is so succulent and moreish!! Atmosphere can be noisy depending on where you are sat from the entrance as people passing by.

Didn’t even get the chance to get seated. Waited at the front and there was absolutely no one to attend to us. Embarrassing. I’m a 6’4 and 18 stone bloke so I’m fairly visible to be fair..

We are now regulars at the great Zizzis in the region. Our favourite is the metrocentre branch. It is the great server Gemma who gives this one the edge. She has an excellent manner. A great asset to the company for sure. Love the discount and free treat scheme too. Many thanks

Amazing service as always this must be the tenth time coming for food here and every time the atmosphere and food have been amazing. The staff are all super helpful and friendly. Gemma and Catherine always give great suggestions on the food and always have smiles on their faces. Whether coming in a larger group (recommend booking before arriving) or family/friends meals nothing is ever an issue. Thank you to the whole team for making the experience amazing

Lovely place and really lush food. Customer service is really good. You can see what is being cooked in the restaurant as well, not hiding anything! Lovely atmosphere in restaurant. A little girl served food to us was really good and frequently asked about food and experience.

The delivery time kept changing and took nearly and hour and a half to arrive and then was cold when it did arrive .

Really enjoyed my trip to Zizzi Metro Centre. Mo was very attentive and answered questions about my pizza choice which was the new Vegan aubergine Meatball Rustica. I can highly recommend this pizza if you’re vegan however it was very overpriced at £17. The wines are also very expensive at £17 for two glasses. Dining here has become an occasional treat rather than a regular one which is unfortunate as I really enjoy dining here.

Relaxing atmosphere. Polite, friendly staff. By far the most delicious pizza I have had in a long time! My daughter went for a pasta dish, and that was delicious to! Even my latte was perfect. The cup it was in was a little disappointing. I felt like I was drinking out of a childs size glass 😂

Great lunch today! I love the fonduta cheesy starter and the spicy chicken pasta. A win every time! The staff are all really friendly without being overbearing and it’s nice to leave a restaurant and everyone says thank you/bye!

Had an amazing lunch and Gemma was serving what a welcoming place. She was so bright cheerful and bubbly. Also the young ladies with long dark hair was very pleasant and helpful. Very nice to be served by the staff and would recommend to anyone who wants a happy as well as speedy service.

Excellent food and service. Eaten here a few times now, and it's the only place I eat at in MetroCentre. Great salads and risottos - not just the usual pies and pizza. Plenty of gluten-free options and a great wine list.

Best meatballs I have had since eating in a little Italian restaurant close to Central Station in NewYork years ago.

Ordered pulled pork loaded fries - that and pizza looked nothing like on menu. Pulled pork fries carton wasnt even half full of a few skinny fries, tiniest bit of dried out pork on top and hardly and cheese.

Excellent portion size and very tasty.

Food was nice, however not what I ordered. I ordered a meatball Arabiata but there was no meat in it at all.

Fantastic food and amazing service. Really made a fuss of our daughter (6) and chef went our of her way to make a special dessert. Danielle was our waitress and she was fantastic. Highly recommend.

the loaded fries came totally different to what was shown and were awful, had a special on for a free classic pizza when spending so much yet didn't receive it and was also missing one of the dishes I ordered, definitely won't be ordering again, for the price you pay I'd expect my order to all be there and to be as described

I ordered Rustica Pepperoni Campagna 15.95 + Fire-Roasted Peppers (V) (Ve) 1.75 SooooooooNOT worth it. The pizza is very small, taste was ok. I wouldn't buy it again. Need bigger pizza for price

First time eating at Zizzi. Worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant. Starter was nice but my main spinach and ricotta tortelloni was unpleasant. Pasta was tepid and was rubbery and uncooked swimming in oil. Will not eat there again.

Great experience - was served by Katie and she honestly could not have been any nicer - best service I have received in a while and food gorgeous- will deffo be back - also got my zillionaires club points

I was really excited looking at the menu but the second we were seated my excitement lessened and lessened. We had to wait almost an hour to finally get our food, all the while tables who had sat down half an hour after we did received their food before us. While waiting we were constantly harassed to buy more drinks when we clearly didn't need them but the staff clearly needed more money. When we finally got our food my partner's portion was ridiculously small for the amount she'd paid and my meal was somehow already cold even though I witnessed it leave the oven not one minute before. The cherry on top of this embarrassment was the imposed £5 tip we had to weasel our way out of on the app. Overall if you're looking for Italian food in the Metro Center go to anywhere else but Zizzi's.

Fantastic service. Staff were attentive even when the restuarant was very busy. Food came quickly and was cooked perfectly. Go to restaurant for cheat nights.

The Spaghetti Bolognese and Garlic bread was really good but again Just Eat failed to deliver to my flat .why do I need to go down and collect my food outside the the main flat entrance instead of the delivery guy using the lift to deliver my food to my flat Zizzi (Metro Centre) you as the restaurant need to sort this out

Lovely food but a bit cold when arrived

£54 complete waste of money i could of bought a better pasta dish to put in the micowave for a couple of pound from a supermarke no sauce basically had a pot of dry pasta, garlic bread and pizza very average.

Absolutely disgusted that I had to contact the courier and try to explain for approximately 10 mins that they weren’t outside my house delivering my food , that I had to tell my address again to the delivery driver and that I had to send my daughter out in the street in her pyjamas , in the rain to get my order!!!!!!!!!

Had lunch here today, £60 for two pizzas, chips and drinks. Pizzas are thinner than a crisp, about two potatos worth of chips and everything was so oily we have both felt ill all day, wont ever be having anything from here again!!!

Came her with my girlfriend for my 18th birthday, had to wait in a line for over half an hour just to get in despite more people leaving then actually waiting in the line aswell as there bieng loads of free seats. Service was average and food was good but not for the price.

Far too expensive. £17 for a pizza ia ridiculous. Service was slow too.

Called the restaurant, to say kindly please don’t forget anything like last time. Missed 2 items off. Chatted to restaurant and they were apologetic & polite. However £52 on pizza it’s a bit of a joke especially when the food was no where near the standard it should be at this price point.

Was actually 135 minutes. We ordered this at 5:20pm and didn't arrive till 8:40pm.

Food was good, with a fair variety and great fresh ingredients. Pricing is borderline expensive and though the venue is good, the service both times has been very mediocre.

Although the food was very nice ☆☆☆☆☆ more for me, it was served very hot, i asked for a "hot chocolate" also to be very hot in temperature and i got what i asked for ☆☆☆☆☆ i will be back 😋

Not the best place ive been to. I had the margarita pizza and my partner had the pan fried sea bass. The pizza was pretty standard, nothing special. And the sea bass was, for lack of a better word, watery. Expensive for what it is. There was also loads of staff that were just kind of wandering about or chatting at the bar

Unfortunately seems like the waiter was in a rush all the time and almost handed me the bill before I sat down. We been polite all the time. Got the order wrong and not providing the requests we asked like mayo or other sauces. Ive been in other zizzi locations. The food was not good. When we finished the main dish instead of asking if we wanted dessert the question was do you want the bill. Not sure how they stay open. The place was 1/3 full and understaffed. When going over the bill he rushed throug the screen on the machine selecting items I should be doing like gratuity and donation which is illegal. Dont ruin your evening. Its not good value for money.

Good sized pizza and taste not bad at all as they are baked on open fire. Also had a good dessert. Portions, service and price seems pretty reasonable.

Food wasn’t good at all, lasagne was super hot when it arrived and had to wait 10 minutes for it to cool down or stir it and when I did it lost any taste it had. Service was great but food wasn’t

Went for lunch today and decided to get the special mussel tagliatelle. I distinctly asked for no chilli , not that I’m allergic but because sometimes the food is too hot. The starter was a Aubergine crochet which was well done on the outside but cold inside. When the main arrived it looked amazing. On the side was a half a red chilli with seeds attached which I gave my partner as he doesn’t mind them . The shells on the mussels where all cracked and the tagliatelle was hard and stuck together. I tried to get the attention of the staff as they passed but just didn’t come over . I ate what I could as by this time thought it pointless saying anything as we had to get away and had I been offered anything else we couldn’t have waited . The waitress came over to Collect the plates and asked if everything was ok so I explained no , it fell on deaf ears and she just looked and took the plates and left the table. Then another waiter came over and we asked for the bill, he asked was everything ok and we told him no once again it fell on deaf ears. We paid and left . This is why I’m writing this review . My partner food was ok but did say it was bland. The atmosphere was most subdued . We will not be returning back.
