Lovely bar, always clean, staff are great. Quiet through the week, bouncy on a weekend. Good banter and a good.

Not so sure about foul mouthed folk at the entrance but there was a lovely young lady served us at baby shower. She was so pleasant and helpful.

The perfect pub in every way possible. Very clean at all times, really nice staff and a golden atmosphere.

Been going to the Durham Ranger for years, nice pint and the regulars are great and are very friendly, and will make anyone coming to the bar for the first time welcome, and the bar staff are brilliant and they bend over backwards for the customers.

Delivered cold three times and meat was like shoe leather couldn't eat it gave it to dog absolutely awfull

An estate pub which tends to attract a small group of locals has darts team sticky floors

Used to go regulary nearly every sunday. Ring up order your sunday lunch used to be chicken,beef or pork you could ring up and collect with in a hour they come in a 12"foil container with a disposable cup of tasty stock gravy then. A good plateful. But since the pub was taking over about a year ago dinners went down hill tasteless and very watery gravy we do not go any More avoid it.

Dinner was lovely,came with in 25 mins,deserves 5 star. 😀

Food can be delivered and is reasonably good. Popular pub near​ Fewster Square with meals and good selection of popular beers and bottles

Dinner and dessert was delivered 2 hrs after time ordered it was freezing some of the sprouts were black also frozen ones, the gravy was so thick i couldnt get it out of the cups custard was in the bottom of the bag all over the dinners when called and complaint I was told manager would call me on Monday but they didn't state in which mth or year I'm still waiting

Karaoke night when we arrived. A local pub that was certainly in full swing
