Zizzi in Southampton

I ordered online.. Very disappointed..supposedly pepperoni pizza, 3 4 slices of pepperoni thrown away. I have never seen such a thin pizza in my life and the edge of the pizza was very hard. and the inside was chewing gum. Never again

As soon as we arrived the service was great. People were very friendly and cheery. Special shout out to Amos.

Really enjoyable meal as a family, the pizza was delicious. We were served by Kieran during our visit and he was nothing short of excellent and attentive throughout our time there.

Angharad was a very pleasant and attentive waitress. Food was excellent. I didn’t like how a service charge/ tip was added to our bill and I do not approve of this practice. This would deter us from visiting Zizzi in the future.

Booked a table for 4 on a Saturday to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Wonderful service from since we arrived until we left! The whole team made all the efforts to provide us with a wonderful experience and couldn’t be more perfect! Danielle, Leticia and Amos made our evening an absolute dream. Chefs cooked dishes to perfection, fast and delicious! Wonderful ambience and fantastic location! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food and Drinks were amazing. Staff are super friendly! Only issue we had was being sat next to a large group with children which made the whole experience loud and less enjoyable. Still 5 stars as not the companies fault. Shout out to Angharad our waitress who was so lovely the entire time we were there :)

Me and my partner went for dinner this Saturday and we had an amazing time. Allergies were handled with impeccable professionalism, service was top notch and the food was amazing. Our server Aniharad was very friendly and attentive, she made us feel very welcome and Amos was equally friendly and helpful when it came to support with my partners allergens. They even recommended a couple other restaurants we should visit! 10/10 we will absolutely be back, thank you for the amazing evening

Very short wait for a table despite the busyness during dinner time. Was served well by a fantastic waiter Kieran who recommended a dish to us. Unfortunately the salmon was dry and no amount of seasoning could save it. Thankfully, it was taken off the bill by management. Would recommend the pollo piccante meal as I thoroughly enjoyed it! Prices were very high for the standard of the restaurant.

Food and drink was the usual high standard.... Parul was very quick and attentive and made our experience very enjoyable.

10/10 Mary. Enthusiasm 10 Recommendations 10 Service 10 other topics…. 10. Now the food. LoL My wife and I had the 3 course set menu for £26.50. I had the Garlic Bombe and the mushroom and truffle pasta with the added chicken on a skewer (£4.95) and was blown away by both. Please if you like garlic bread try the Garlic Bombe (with chorizo) not the plain garlic bread starter if that’s your go to, it will change your taste buds on garlic bread. I was super close to ordering the ragú but my wife ordered it and they ran out of the prawns just before I ordered.. happy it happened as I was truly in love with the recommendation of the mushroom and truffle pasta. Amazing isn’t the word, complements to the chef a thousand times. It’s changed my view of mainstream restaurant a little, if another server somewhere else has the same enthusiasm as Mary does it will revive my view of eating out again, which in the past few years has come very gloomy due to poor service, very basic food at extortionate prices and very poor service from majority of restaurants that are open. We booked here for an early dinner after an afternoon cinema trip with the children during their school hols. Great to take advantage of the school hols 'kids eat free' offer. (This isn't obvious in the restaurant, but seen on socials/when booking). It wasn't busy, which suits us. Service was great and everyone enjoyed the food. Portion sizes were great. They don't have great mobile signal, but there is WiFi if needed. I was recommended to save my Zillionaires details to Play/Apple wallet for ease in the future. Thanks Amos and team for a lovely meal out.

Delightful restaurant, charming atmosphere, excellent food the calzone was lovely, carbonara was brilliant and the pizza exceeded expectations, exceptional service from Amos, perfect way to finish our day in Southampton.

Visited the west quay/Southampton branch of Zizzi to tonight. Had a lovely three course set menu which is great value for money. Amos and the team were great and nothing was too much trouble, great service with a smile! Will definitely return!

Great service from Henry and the team today at Southampton branch I heard of the restaurant before and only now had the time to visit it with my wife. Henry greet us and sat us down making sure we were well informed on how the menu's worked and how we could order, he also pointed out what some of his favourite dishes were, as he noticed we were very overwhelmed by the variety of choices. Were very pleased for his recommendation and would definitely come again. Also would like to thank Henry's manager Amos and the floor staff for making sure we were well taken care of. The services was something alot of restaurant has to live up to!

TLDR.. Great service, lovely veggie options and well catered to gluten allergies and clean toilets, drinks a bit pricey. Great restaurant, we received the kind of service your expect from a non chain local Italian restaurant, primarily a meat eater I tried a veggie dinner for a change, I went with the set menu (starter main and dessert)... Vegan starter, and veggie main and dessert. All tasty and well presented. My partner and I had 4 alcoholic drinks all very nice, the one critisizm which I have (like many places) drinks are expensive but it's expected to be honest. My partner is gluten intolerant but they took the intolerance seriously, the same as a serious allergy, her menu options were great and plenty, surprisingly better here at an Italian than most other places! We didn't feel like we waited too long for any course and were asked each time of we were ready for the next. The toilets were clean and stocked, smelled clean too which is always a positive, can't speak for the ladies though. Staff were tentative and talkative. Making sure we were happy and comfortable. 2 large tables attending but nothing crazy happening so all under control... As a whole a very nice atmosphere, we enjoyed our dinner date.

Quiet enough to chat without effort. Prompt friendly service. Extremely helpful. Jo was professional yet approachable. Cam was attentive without being obtrusive. Excellent service.

We had a lovely meal here, many thanks to Amos who looked after us and was very good with our allergy order, checking exactly what the allergen was and all items arrived with a sticker on to ensure confidence. It was rather quiet on Sunday night but we had a choice of where we would like to sit and was nice a quiet after a busy day of shopping
