Zique's in Glasgow City

I was extremely exited from the experience but the food was below average and everything tastes the same! The french toast was terrible i cant understand how french toast can be made by sourdough :/ literally you will need a saw to cut it and it tastes bad anyways🙅🏾‍♀️ The batata braves the only thing that i would eat again

Would highly recommend Ziques if you are in Glasgow and looking for a place to eat. Everything is on point from the food to the staff to the drinks. Hinba Tiramisu was unbelievably good - will definitely be back!

Place has really taken it up a level since it when under new management. Dinner menu excellent as is brunch - can't beat it!

Wow, this meal was fantastic. So many tantalising flavours, could not recommend more if you are dabbling in the west end food scene.

We had four different meals plus French toast for dessert. We all enjoyed it! The food was super delicious!!! The service was quick & friendly. The price/performance ratio is absolutely appropriate!!!! I will return to Zique's on my next visit to Glasgow West End. Can only recommend it!!!!

Came for brunch on a weekday, had really nice meals. I had the shakshouka which was absolutely delicious and the place was really cosy with a nice atmosphere. Staff were polite and friendly. Meals are expensive but fairly typical for west end.

Came here last night for meal with husband. Everything was superb and has a wonderfull evening. Very friendly waiter explained it was small plates and suggested we had 4-5 dishes between the 2 of us. All the food was just amazing and the portions were huge (we struggled to finish it all). Great value for money, great service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

One of the best brunches in Glasgow. Something for everyone and reasonable prices for what you get. Great coffee too which is a bonus.

Great little spot. Good coffees, decent scran. Nice weather means outside is mobbed but deff advise to book ahead if you can. Would recommend.

Took my son and his girlfriend for lunch here. Friendly staff and quick service. Bit pricey but it's the west end so on a par with other eateries.

We had a really good breakfast here. We decided on Greek yogurt, French toast and eggs denidict. The service was super nice and we got a table without a reservation. You can definitely come here.

Excellent food, and reliably so. My sole gripe is that, due to the size and shape of the venue, it can get a little crowded and loud, so maybe not ideal if you have sensory issues. But otherwise a fantastic experience in all regards.

Both times we have visited the vegan or vegetarian brunch options have been amazing. Good value and the coffee is great too, will definitely keep coming back!

It’s a chic brunch place with seating available upstairs as well. Small plates style with tea, coffee and few cakes. Taste was on point for the chips and veggie breakfast, however the bread for the HLT sandwich wasn’t even slightly toasted. Hence, it was stretchy and rubbery when trying to eat the sandwich and hurt my mouth. Will definitely come again to try the cakes and drinks!

Visited with 2 kids and 2 teenagers. The food was fantastic. The little ones just wanted chips which weren’t on the menu but the staff were happy to accommodate and gave them a huge bowl of hand cut chips which were delicious. The older girls had the all day breakfast which was so fresh and the most perfect poached eggs I’ve ever seen. I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich which was outstanding. We left completely stuffed and will definitely be back.

We got in about 2 and the place was almost empty. Within 30 minutes it was heaving with a great atmosphere. Staff are nice and friendly. The warm tomato salad was not as good as I hoped, my partners beef sandwich went down well. The chilli and Parmesan fries were more like wedges. Nice but I wouldn’t rush back

Outstanding food!! We had a lovely brunch/lunch here, been meaning to go for ages to this restaurant. Glad we did, genuinely amazing food. I would have happily chosen multiple things off the menu, was not disappointed with our choices. The patatas bravas was the best i’ve ever had.

My daughter had lunch here yesterday with several of her friends as part of her 21st birthday celebrations. They ordered four bottles of prosecco not realising they cost £38 each! This is nothing but greed and extortion! This is a cafe up a side street in Partick that claims to be a neighbourhood joint, if you were actually hoping to attract your neighbours, would you charge such inflated prices for what is essentially a low alcohol, cheap fizzy wine? For my daughter's actual party we celebrated in El Santo in the city centre, which is a luxuriously decorated restaurant and cocktail bar with amazing service and decadent surroundings. A bottle of prosecco in here is £30 however at least you can see where they invest their profits. We live on the same street as Ziques and will not be returning. Another example of a west end establishment ripping off their closest neighbours. You should be disgusted with your level of greed.

One of our sons favourite West End eateries. Nicely situated off the main main byres road track but worth the short walk. Good food and drink. Small plates can be generous so maybe do opening plates and then order more as desired. Service super.

Always a good spot for breakfast - both the veggie and vegan breakfasts very tasty, well presented and ok value, considering the prices these days.

I really like Zique's. The food is always top notch, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. My only slight bugbear is, if you have a group of six or more, the seating tends to be cramped.

Maybe just what I ordered, but I wasn't impressed. Halloumi sandwich was bland and expensive. Will give it another go as I'd heard great things!

Stand out lunch experience, best for a good while, top quality recipes. Good variety too, not restricted by current poached egg brunch obsessions! Try the chili chips side, tasty and substantial. Staff very friendly and helpful. Always better to book first, very popular

Came with my partner for a late brunch and they were quick to seat us and then take our orders. When the food came, it was absolutely delicious! The chips were a lot better than expected and the service was friendly. Would highly recommend when looking for breakfast/lunch.

Went for an early dinner. The place was quiet. I waited over 20mins for braised pork tacos ...they were cold when they arrived so Sent them back....only to wait another 20minutes for a replacement. They tasted good. They were quick presenting the bill with no offer of a free drink for my inconvenience. Its a bit up itself.....good food but nothing exceptional considering the time they take cooking it.

Brunch with friends, party of 5, we chose a range of menu items, all excellent and drunk multiple coffees ☕️ 😋 very good. Reasonable chance of getting parked nearby for c £3 for 2 hours plus

Walked in on a very busy Sunday for breakfast. Didn’t have a booking but the very nice lady accommodated us. Had the Benedict and it was smashing! American style bacon was very crispy, hollandaise sauce was spot on and eggs poached to perfection. Best breakfast I’ve ever had in Scotland!!!!

Top place for brunch in west end of Glasgow. Pretty good for dinner too.

Had to wait till 12:30 for expresso martini... but it was worth the wait! Have egg benedict... and you will have a perfect brunch!

Odd shape for seating but food brill.

Never been to this restaurant before, will definitely be coming back. Walked in and the light was flooded through the windows on a cold day. Immediately showed to a table and brought a menu. Had the Cullen Skink and a Black Americano. Both came very quickly, lovely fish, great flavour and delicious bread. One of the bar staff was a Gunner, which makes it even better. COYG.

So first of all would like to say food tasted really good. However in one of my dishes I found a plastic bottlecap cooked into it, which I only found when it was in my mouth. Left me feeling very uncomfortable as I almost choked. The staff seemed apologetic and bemused and offered us free drinks but the situation has left me not wanting to go back. Put a real downer on my anniversary. Which is a shame.

Phenomenally good dinner here this weekend for an anniversary meal. We split a selection of their small plates and they were all incredibly good with good variety. I’m vegetarian and had decent options compared to other restaurants recently visited.

Well.. Ziques is only 1 min from my flat and I love breakfast so it's a win win. Delicious food here always. This time we ate sirloin steak, comte, fried onions on sourdough toast with yummy gravy. The steak was exactly cooked and rare enough as it should be. Tres special. We sat on the little stools upstairs and there was a lovely vide as the place was jumping. Staff totally on it! Be back soon.

Got the shakshouka which had good flavour, but I had quite a few cardamom pods in the dish which was a bit overwhelming. Service seemed really slow, but overall it was a good experience! Friend got hot smoked salmon and she said it was the perfect amount of food and left her feeling quite satisfied.

Limited menu but compliments to the chef. You will not regret a visit to the place. My daughter and I enjoyed our meal.

Got a variety of small plates to share from here. Food was great quality at a much more reasonable price than a lot of places which offer small plates. We also had an it is on voucher which made it even better value. They also gave us an extra cake since it was my birthday. The staff here really couldn’t be better- they were polite, friendly and attentive. Would definitely return.

Second visit to this friendly restaurant for dinner. Food is delicious, beautifully cooked and presented. A lovely mix of Scottish/Mediterranean small plates such as Cullen skink, buttermilk chicken served with flat bread and a spicy tzatziki dressing, patatas bravas and plenty more. The portion size is reasonable and service great. Only negative is the wine menu seemed far too expensive, didn’t seem to be a reasonably priced house wine on offer. Wouldn’t put me off going again but just means as a group we’d definitely drink less which in the long run probably means spend less!!

Our server James was very helpful, I have certain dietary needs and he guided me through their menu. Food tasted great and looked great!

Absolutely delish brekkie! I got the vegatarian one, I have never enjoyed tomatoes with my breakfast, but these were seasoned so well! Definitely one of the best breakfasts I have ever had!

We were in for the first time last saturday with our puppy since the place has mentioned its dog friendly. It was very busy that day and they still managed to accommodate us a place upstairs which we were grateful. The food was really nice and a wide selection of pastries. We were saying this place definitely deserve another second visit again. So we came back again on Wednesday, but this time we got told our chihuahua puppy cannot be seated on our lap n must be placed on the ground. We never got told this the last time as our puppy has always sat on our lap or the stool they offered us last time. This time the place was not busy at all with only two tables of customers. Im confused why my puppy was allowed to be seated last time but not this time. He could have offered us to be seated in a corner or even upstairs where less customers will be disturbed instead. My chihuahua puppy is very small n she doesnt like to be placed on the floor as she might pick up food on the floor and she thinks the floor is dirty so she prefers to be seated on the lap. She doesnt bark or run around like other dogs. I just think if you say your restaurant is dog friendly then your expected they will be seated on the seat unless the dog size is very big. In the end, we left straightaway as i really feel like my dog is unwelcome and will not be back again

Average shakshuka and mocha. High price to value offered. Reply to owner: then go next door to Absolute and try their mocha. You will feel the difference.

I've been here a few times for the vegan breakfast over the years- it's yummy but could maybe use a slight update and more options added. Wish there was a vegan sausage option. There are loads of amazing options for vegan breakfast in Glasgow these days so places need to up their game. The oat flat white was amazing- always love the coffee here. It's such a lovely unique building too. My husband absolutely loved his Eggs Benedict.

Busy cafe/bar, but plenty of seats upstairs and outside in the nice weather. Small menu but varied, and food was great, pleasant staff
