Zilan Kebab House in Wrexham

This is now called Gwersyllt Takeaway having dropped the Zilan from the name and changed hands Evwrything about premises is the same. Similar menu etc. Id like to say its improvef but on todays efforts i couldnt honestly say that. Today i had large doner meat n chips. Price £7.80. I realise things have gone up. HOwever im use to meat from doner being tripped /cut off with a certain width and thickness of slice. But this offering was slithers of doner mean barely a centimeter width and thickness of just over a milimeter. It would do justice to a skin graft such was the thiness ... When this is heaped onto the chips,it may look a lot but you find its not..far from it and not worth the £7.80 price. So will i go there again... fraid not

We use this Kebab House when we fancy a decent one,I have a large Doner with onions & garlic mayo,my Wife has the "special" burger,(burger with kebab meat),& salad + a small portion of chips between us,chips taste great by the way.staff very cheerful..

Food is always tasty and delivery is quick. The special chicken burger is amazing! The only downside is that there is no option to order online

Just ordered from zilan 4 chicken pcs and chicken burger and chips delivered All stone cold and pcs of chicken horrible

Salad is kept behind the raw meat,(if you're looking from customers side) so that all of the raw meat must be carried over open containers of fresh salad. Meat juices from raw chicken and meat dripping all over the uncovered salad. very ill!!!

We have them delivering to us, most nights atm due to kitchen refurb, food always hot and freshly cooked, great staff too, very friendly.

It was my first time visiting recently, I've lived here just over a year now and had never been before so thought I'd give it a try. The staff were really nice, very polite and happy to see a new face which was great. I on,y had cheesy chips, nothing special I know but the cheese was good quality, not cheap stuff and the chips were cooked really well. Next time I'll be a little more adventurous but all in all. I'd go back again.

Nice, polite guys serving good honest food. I often call in, as I drive past, if I've had a hard day at work and don't fancy cooking. It's all good - nuff said
