Fantastic fish and chips takeaway. Delicious and perfect very friendly service. Fish cooked fresh to order. Portions large. Cleanliness immaculate. A great find for takeaway fish and chips plus lots more items on the menu. Excellent value for money. I will definitely return and would recommend to anyone.

Have searched ages for a decent chip shop, stubbys doesn’t fail. Fantastic food consistently. The food doesn’t sit for ages as it’s made to order. A recipe for success.

In my opinion this is the best place for fish and chips. You order fish when you get there, it is cooked to order. I always ask for lightly battered fish and it is done to perfection. I have visited other F & C shops but haven't found another as good as this

We recently discovered this take away based on reviews we had read. It's a bit fiddly to get to from where we live but OHHH so worth the effort, the premises are beautifully clean, the staff are so friendly and the food.......ohh the food. If you haven't tried it - go........it's excellent, my new favourite take away. Superb

This place has excellent food and service with a smile. Very generous portions, lots of choice and quality meals. Plenty of parking outside too.Highly recommended.

Been many times and it was lovely as usual. Plenty of tasty chips and a large lovely battered fish. Partner has the chicken with chips which she loves, no scrawny sparrows leg either. Staff are friendly too, always up for a chat whilst you wait.

Always go to this chippy since it opened. The portions are very generous for what you pay, and it's always cooked fresh for you. The staff are very friendly and love to chat while serving.

If the man is on I presume he is the owner the chips and everything else is excellent and a friendly welcome I don't think he works Monday's and I avoid going now on a Monday because if you are not local or Welsh expect a frosty welcome or to be ignored which is a shame as I only live around the corner apart from Monday's the food is spot on and the place is clean

This was our first visit following a recommendation by a friend. The fish and chips were really good, with the fish being fried freshly for you. Nice light batter, my wife also appreciated the ability to get small chips.

Best fish around and chips are cooked properly. Even do burgers and chicken curry. Can get a little busy but great chippys always are. Only thing I’d say is if you like chips cheese and gravy ask them to put the cheese on before the gravy lol.

Very clean all staff are polite and friendly the food is always hot and a decent size if not a little too much chips good parking facilities, the menu is varied too a lovely fish and chip shop well worth a visit

The chippy is owned and run by a guy who worked in Borras chippy for many years. His experience is clear to see as he delivers a consistently high standard of food. Highly recommend Stubby's when Steve is working. Great value, great quality food and a really personable owner.

I popped here on recommendation as I've not been here before. I wanted a quick tea for the children. Wow!! The place was lovely and clean. The lady serving was really friendly and chatted to my niece. I ordered 2 bags of chips a large sausage and fishcake. I was astounded by how large the bag of chips were and how great the prices were. My niece said the sausage was gorgeous. Will definitely use this in the future.

Best chippy in Wrexham if not Wales. Proper Fish & Chips served by friendly staff. Spicy curry is a must try.

We have been here many times for a fish and chip supper and it is always excellent. The fish is cooked fresh when you get there so the batter is always crispy with good quality, white fish.Wonderful!

While visiting my parents we decided to have a chippy tea seem as it was Friday, and what a treat it was. When you walked in its was clean and modern and the staff were really friendly.
