Passing through Wrexham I saw this chippy had good reviews and popped in on Sunday. From the moment we walked in you could tell the server (lad with dark hair) took a disliking to me and had a bad attitude. Maybe coz we weren’t Welsh 👀. Our portion of chips was smaller than other customers (I did ask for small chips however there’s small then there’s small!) …even the lady behind the counter gave him a look he just shrugged his shoulders and carried on. He shoved my husband fish into a small box which broke when he closed it. It’s a shame. The chips were lovely but the portion and attitude spoilt it.

Lovely fish and chips only problem disabled people can't get in shop due to high step and no handrail.

Everytime I order from here it's genuinely perfect and consistently great. Never had a problem with this place and the food tastes great. Fairly cheap as well.

The chips & cheese were good, crispy on the outside soft inside and cheese melted, our fish was good not dry right amount of breading and the scampi was also good. Staff friendly filled orders quickly and efficiently.

burger didn't seem very fresh. the bread was quite stale. normally really good!

Chips are very good. Fish varies between good and excellent. Sweet curry is always very good, gravy can be lumpy. Sausages are catering quality so draw your own conclusions.

Fish advertised as being in a Golden, Crispy batter, Sadly today's batter, although Golden was not Crispy. Disappointed !

Wrexham has quite a few Chip Shops, but, with 1 exception (Jones’s) they are all average. So I decided to spread my wings and travel to Gwersyllt as I had heard this was a good ‘chippy’. Erring on the side of caution, as first visit, I just got chips and mushy peas to take away. I have to say, they were the nicest chips I’d had for a while (since ditching my chip pan 😆). Plus, the fish, pies, sausages etc all looked very appealing. I will definitely go back, and next time, expand my choice to fish chips & mushy peas 😋

We ordered the food, and it's either the delivery driver has ran off with the food, or gave it to the wrong house. Called about a refund, and apparently will take 7 days to refund £20.

Chips are dreadful small bits of potato, undercooked and full of oil. Portion was so heavy don't really to eat the chips but for £20 you would expect proper chips.

Half of the sausage (length ways) was hard and inedible. I think it had been left on the heat plate for too long without being moved.

The nicest chippy in Wrexham, fish is light battered and big ! More fish then batter which is so moist and perfectly cooked. Just the nicest chips ! Nice everything!! The best!! Won't go anywhere else!

A very good all round chippy. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the curry but everything else was spot on. Portions were generous and the quality makes the seemingly little excessive pricing worth it. Will most likely be ordering again
