I was with a couple of friends. We had a fantastic evening. Joshua in particular provided impeccable service! He was kind enough to bring the surprise cake for my friend's birthday, and to take some photos of us too. We really enjoyed it, and will definitely be back! Delicious pizza! See you Soon :)

Great gluten free pizza but, first of all, great service from the waiter and great advices from the pizza chef, both italians, just made my experience great. I will definitely go back.

We went for a weekday lunch with some family who were visiting from out of town. It was such a wonderful lunch. The friendliest staff and service, delicious pizzas and pasta, and a really nice atmosphere. Loved it. We'll be back. x

Yesterday I went to Zia Lucia in Islington with a friend of mine. I had been there once before Covid with other people, and we were very satisfied. However, yesterday was a disaster. The pizza was horrible. If we can even call it pizza: a very thin focaccia with few ingredients and a sour tomato sauce that made me feel sick all night. I feel sorry for the mainly British clientele that eats these rubbish without actually knowing what real Italian pizza is, the one that drives the whole world crazy. Unfortunately, after Covid, to save money, the owners are using very low-quality ingredients, but the serious thing is that they have raised the prices disproportionately. Nothing to say about the service, which was excellent and friendly.

- Great service, pretty fast and efficient. - As an Italian who tried several pizza restaurants in London, the pizzas here were terrible. I've noticed a massive difference since Zia Lucia opened in London. The dough has the texture of a flatbread and has poor quality ingredients on top. At least 30% of the pizza is just crust, the rest is just a thin layer of mozzarella or tomato base. The tomatoes are acidic, definitely not high quality. The pizza with truffle is a SCAM! They use truffle-flavoured oil, not truffle flakes and they sell it for £14.50! I was very disappointed overall, I won't come back. I guess the pandemic ruined everything. Most restaurants are just inflating prices, while not keeping the same quality. I hope whoever runs the company reads this review: You can't justify an average of £15 per pizza when the quality is really poor! Take the best quality ingredients and pizza makers and keep the same price, while reducing your income. It's better to keep your customers happy or you'll risk shutting down a few branches.

We arrived on a match day without a booking but they could still seat us with only a 15 minute wait. I’ve been before and the pizzas are great. This time I had the pork and truffle oil pizza, with a name I can’t pronounce. The beer was ok, but it’s not a pub so I’m not expecting great things. But the pizzas are great. I had some of my wife’s pizza, with peppers which was fantastic. I prefer whole meal bases and she likes traditional. Try everything it’s worth it.

Feeling like a pizza I went into Zia Lucia at late lunchtime on a Tuesday. There were just a few others eating but it wasn’t busy. I went inside expecting someone to show me to a table, but after nearly 10 minutes no one came so I went to sit at a table. There was a waiter moving between the few customers and a guy at the till who looked like the manager. Neither of them so much as acknowledged my presence let alone brought me a menu, not even a glance my way or a nod to suggest they’d be with me shortly. The guy by the till was talking to some men who might have been delivery drivers, very loud and disruptive on their phones and pacing up and down the restaurant. You’d think the till guy could just have looked over and said someone would be with me soon, but nothing at all. After 10 more minutes I got up and left. No one asked why I was leaving even, they just weren’t interested and didn’t care. Highly upsetting and disappointing, won’t be coming here again.

I ordered a pizza from here tonight, and it arrived 1hr and 30 mins after I ordered, and arrived stone cold. Not only that, they had completely forgotten an item from my order. Rubbish.

Been recently for a Pizza with couple friends and had the Best time!!!! Quality ingredients & friendly staff!! Fallen in love with the charcoal base option and so much fun is Raff the Pizzaiolo , gave us a unique experience full of laughs, very welcoming and enterteining. Thanks!! What a delicious evening, in every way! Federica, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to chat with, and served us the most wonderful pizza you could ever get - i ate two! Done in the style of Napole, it is simply put the best you can get, bar none. Highly recommended.
