Nice pizzeria in Holloway road. I found it as a a hidden gem. Without reservation is almost impossible to find a table here, but better to book a table in advance. The waitress was so polite and friendly. We didnt need to wait for long to get our food. The pizzas were amazing, the dough is perfect and I love every bite of it. Highly recommended place!!!

Why is everyone raving about the pizza here? It's heavy sauce, dough is soggy by the time it comes out, and it's just dripping. I went twice thinking that the first time was just a fluke and nope. If you like saucy pizzas, I guess this is the place for you?

Food was amazing and the wine was great just unfortunate that the service was slow, should not have to ask to be served each time and reminded several times about drinks.

Quality is not as good as before. They mixed up my order and gave me someone else’s pizza. Which contained PORK. Which we don’t eat in our household. Called them up and they didn’t even care of try to help or offer me anything. Had to go out and buy something else for my daughter, who was at this point very hungry. Just eat were not very helpful either. Will not be using either of them again.

Superb branch of Zia Lucia. The only dish I didn't like was the pannacotta, which I thought was bland. The service was lovely, the restaurant was very clean, and the pizza was perfect. Absolutely enjoyed it.

For a coeliac like me this is a godsend. Such good pizza with a gluten free base. However sometimes the dough comes out raw.

Usually one of my favorite pizzerias in London, but my recent delivery experience (Oct 26, 7.45 pm) was disappointing. Ordered 4 pizzas that arrived partially burnt and poorly proved, and simply didn't taste good - a stark difference from their usual standards. Hope this was just an off day.

A great pizza spot with a variety of dough options, which is particularly fun! Delivery from here is great, their pesto is delicious. Pizzas are sauce heavy, wood fired, and easily the best crust in London!

Premesso che la pizza in se per sé era buona. Il servizio era pessimo. Arriviamo nella pizzeria alle ore 9:46 in quanto non essendo del posto,cercavamo la pizzeria. Veniamo a sapere che la possibilità di sedersi ai tavoli chiudeva alle 9:45,mentre la pizzeria prendeva gli ordini take a way fino alle 10. Per solo pochi minuti di differenza,non ci diedero la possibilità di sederci. Per via dei fatti ci rimase solo l'opzione di prendere una pizza d'asporto. Per questo motivo abbiamo dovuto mangiare su delle panchine davanti al locale,al gelo. Precisiamo che c'erano anche due bambini piccoli.

An hour long wait for a pizza when the restaurant is half empty.

Had a lovely dinner which my young cousins particularly enjoyed. The kids menu is great and they really loved the chefs hats. The staff are very attentive and the food is really good. The pizzas are huge and the pasta is well cooked with unusual choices of sauce.

This pizza used to be good when I first tried it years ago. Had it again a few months ago and it was terrible. The dough, the condiments, the cheese. It was pretty awful. They changed management or pizzaiolo and it’s no longer a proper Italian pizza.

I expected a real Neapolitan pizza here having read the story of the place. However all the pizzas had a lot of cheese, far more than you would get in Italy. The quality of the ingredients was fine but it seems that the expansion of the brand has led to inevitable decline in quality (just like Franca manca, etc.). It was a decent pizza but nothing to write home about and quite expensive. The service was sparse, the restaurant wasn’t busy but it took forever to order, get dessert, get the cheque, etc. despite there being a lot of staff. Wouldn’t go again.

We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday with our three kids (11, 6, and 11 months). The environment was relaxed, which was perfect for us! We ordered caprese, potato crisps, a couple pizzas, and 2 pasta dishes. Everything was fantastic. My picky eating daughter cleared her plate of spaghetti beef ragú. I thoroughly enjoyed my tagliatelle with Gorgonzola and walnuts. The pizzas were also fantastic, with delicious crusts and super fresh ingredients. The caprese was the best we’ve ever tasted. So fresh! We are so thrilled we stumbled upon this gem!

food was tepid, in spite of them being not far from us. No care was taken with the preparation, my extra sausage toping was half under the pizza. . Not much taste expected much more for such an expensive item. Wont be using them again

Delicious food, good vibes, makes London feel like a warm and cosy city.

We arrived shortly after 6pm on a Friday just before the place got much busier. Our pizzas were delicious, the bases both soft and crunchy at the same time with an abundance of Parma ham and sauces, etc. The buffalo mozzarella rounded things off nicely and a nice meal was enjoyed by us both. My hope is that when we next return, which we definitely will do, they’ll have introduced more seafood options such as prawns or a seafood medley perhaps. All in all, well worth a visit.

Beautiful bright space, friendly staff. Would recommend for a pizza. However, I don't recommend the spaghetti carbonara: £17.44 (incl. service charge) for a pasta dish with a thick sauce that is almost artificially yellow.

Gone downhill. Paper thin, soggy, cheap ingredients. Won’t be back again. This place used to be good but sadly it’s gone downhill big time. No love and care.

The most cozy and tucked away Italian place you can find in Holloway. The atmosphere was great as soon as you stepped foot inside, which then got accompanied by the very hospitable servers. The drinks and food were quick to arrive, and were heavenly. You’d only crave it more.

Was very a very good pizza but it makes me sad that it's not just a one off restaurant. You can tell by the menu that they're going into chain/corporate vibe. Shame

I am surprised to read some of the reviews from coeliac people I am coeliac myself and called the restaurant one week before the booking days to make sure they cater for us. ,the gentleman who picked up the phone confirmed that they cater for people with the disease. On the day of reservation, I got a call 30 min before our arrival time and was told that they were not sure if it would be safe for me to eat there. When I got there, I went to speak to the chefs and one of them pointed out the kitchen counter and said look: "meaning there is flour everywhere " Another chef (kinder) said that he will prepare the dough on a separate tray and will make sure that my pizza is not contaminated When we got to our table, the waitress said: I am surprised that you are having dinner here as you are coeliac it is very strange. Are you sure you are going to be ok? It is very strange. Don't promote gluten free food if you don't want to cater for coeliac I!!!!. I am not sure if my food was contaminated as I don't have silent coeliac disease, but I did not feel comfortable.

Lovely service in a buzzy atmosphere with a manager who very much understood the risks of cross-contamination. Double checked options with the kitchen and they could do their GF pasta separately but they only have 1 pizza oven, so GF bases going in with normal. Chefs changed gloves/prepped GF food as separately as possible apart from the oven. Mentioned that previous coeliac customers had not reported reactions BUT that there was no guarantee as there is flour everywhere (naturally), so I decided to take the risk as my gluten reactions are not serious enough for hospitalisation if they do occur. I had no reaction and a very tasty pizza :) Big pizza base too! Lovely fresh-tasting ingredients and great service considering how busy they were. Enjoyed the non-alcoholic Italian 'crudino' drink too. Would definitely recommend.

Advise! given that as an Italian I can say with good reason whether a pizza is worth it! And the pizza is also excellent in London although late in the evening served and welcomed with friendliness and efficiency. Super recommended, for connoisseurs!

OK so I visited this place on the same night as an Arsenal game and it was heaving. We waited about 20mins but it was worth it, much better value than a greasy cheeseburger from a van before the match. Staff were excellent, patient with customers but really good at turning the tables around. Oh and the food we had was excellent 👌

Good pizza for a good price! Vegan cheese options available at no additional cost. It is however, to my personal opinion, not the best executed Napoli style as the crust was not very airy, and the middle not as thin. I also had the issue of the pizza being too liquid. That aside, still tasty and would come back again. No wifi available.

Ordered a pizza, it was so bad we couldn’t even finish it.. Poor quality and the ham looks like rubber. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this was a real waste of money.

We came to Zia Lucia on a Wednesday after work and it was absolutely buzzing. We ordered the fresh cut homemade potato crisps, pesto tagliatelle and carbonara pasta which were all delicious. Their tiramisu is probably my favourite in all of London! For birthdays we've recently started bringing their tiramisus instead of cakes and it's been a huge hit with our friends and family :D it's so fresh, with a perfect balance of sweet and bitter. Not overly creamy or heavy either. The staff are always so warm and friendly too. We've been here 7-8 times now and have consistently had a good experience. Highly recommend if you're in Islington and looking for fuss-free Italian restaurant.

A lovely pizza restaurant, with great pizza bases and loads of topping choices.

Staff member insisted I sit right next to a couple as I came alone when the half the restaurant was empty. When I asked if I could sit elsewhere she refused. It was only early Tuesday evening, not exactly rush hour.

Celebrated my birthday here with 15 people, it was really easy to book (compared to many other pizza places in London) and they were accommodating my requests. Pizza was great, I really recommend it!
