Awful awful awful service - sat down for 20 mins before order taken on a not so busy day. Met with rudeness and waiter denied serving us when the food order was never processed. Got given bill half way through drinks to top of the delightful experience. Avoid at all costs, life is too short.

Oh my goodness! Stumbled across this gem tonight and wow! It was AMAZING! The aubergine pasta was genuinely the best thing I've ever had! You must visit this place, I can't speak more highly of it, the food, the service and the atmosphere! Next time I'm in London I'll be returning! santore you should set up an Instagram account to boost your following and get more people sharing pics and reviews of your fabulous business!

Came here with friends on a Saturday evening. A really traditional Italian restaurant in a busy, buzzy area. Lots of outdoor seating creates a great atmosphere. My mussels starter was very good, but I thought my lasagne was lacking a little flavour, compared to some other restaurants I’ve dined at. The sharing pizza is a great idea, with different toppings at each end. Overall the food was good and the service excellent. Also good value for the area.

I ordered takeaway there. The process was super easy! I think the pizza tastes better in person because it naturally becomes a little soft in the packaging. One star deducted because the dressing was missing from the salad.

Rude and curt member of staff. Couldn't accommodate a single diner in a restaurant that was a 3rd full. Meaning there were 2 thirds of the resteraunt empty at 6:30pm. You offered a table outside in the cold. The way your staff member offered it and the face the person behind the counter pulled just shouted arrogance and in difference. Your response says it all.

Had an outstanding meal here which felt just like being in Naples. We had a newer member of staff from Brazil that struck the perfect balance between friendliness and attentiveness. Highly reccomend the Scialatielli con melanzane, pomodorini & provola. I will certainly be coming back.

Wow. This Italian restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We were here on Friday evening and the restaurant was more than full, but everything possible was immediately done to make room for us. The staff is very friendly and takes care of their guests. The pizzas tasted excellent and were a good size. We'd love to come back.

Popped in for a quick bite before heading to theatre. Service was efficient and friendly and we both loved the lobster ravioli special!

Great pizzas although from my understanding the owners might have recently changed as the pizzas don’t taste as good as they used to according to my friend. The pizzas are also massive where you can order a 1 meter long pizza that is composed of 4 different types of pizza. Definitely a sight to behold and worth visiting just for the novelty aspect.

Lovely ambience. Plenty of space for big parties. Genuine Italian staff. Big portions. A couple of our mains could have looked more appetising, like the chicken sauce dish and the monkfish. The calamari and the apple tart were great!

Good atmosphere. All very delicious and very reasonably priced. 3 Pizzas for less than £50. The calzone is almost enough for two people.

Really good pizzas! Nice service, I went there several times and never had to wait too long to get seated, have the order taken and food served. The place is a bit overcrowded and can be very loud.

Found a Worm in My Dish – Horrible Experience and Disappointing Service! I visited Santore today to celebrate a special occasion, but my experience was completely ruined by poor food quality and even worse customer service. I ordered a mushroom risotto, and to my shock, I discovered a worm inside after my first bite. It was incredibly disappointing, not only because of the food but also due to how the staff handled the situation. Instead of apologizing or showing genuine concern, they simply offered to remake the same dish or bring me something else. When it was time to pay, they made me feel as if they were doing me a favor by waiving the charge for the risotto. I wanted to leave immediately but didn’t want to ruin the evening we had planned to celebrate. Unfortunately, what should have been a memorable night turned into a terrible experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Santore, please take better care with food hygiene and train your staff to handle issues with basic courtesy. I won’t be returning.

Gezellig restaurantje, dicht bij andere cafétjes. Wel een beetje remoerig maar zeker de moeite waarheid! De spaghetti zeker een aanrader: heel lekker en goede saus. margaritha voor grote eters heel goed maar je kan het ook altijd meenemen. Alleen wel een beetje warm in het restaurant maar we zaten vlak naast de keuken dus is ergens wel normaal

We spent 4 days in London and had dinner at Santoré for 4 days, because the food is excellent from pizza to pasta to second courses and above all the staff are fantastic and friendly, basically go there it's a fantastic place they make you feel at home.

I had high expectations when visiting Santoré, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying. We ordered the 750g Traditional Pizza Al Metro, which the menu described as being the equivalent of three pizzas (250g each). However, what we received was nowhere near that—each "pizza" amounted to just four slices, much smaller than the portion size of a regular pizza. The menu was incredibly misleading, and the portions left us still feeling hungry despite ordering what we thought would be a substantial meal. To make matters worse, we were charged the full price for each of these so-called pizzas, even though they were nowhere near the size or weight advertised. Overall, I found the entire experience to be quite disappointing. I expect restaurants to be transparent and honest with their customers, and sadly, Santoré fell short in this regard.

Great food. Had vongole pasta, ravioli with pink sauce and we shared the clams with garlic bread in a sauce. All very tasty. Would highly recommend and the price is reasonable. Just walked in off the street, service was very good.

Este restaurante solía ser mi lugar. Sin embargo, creo que debe haber cambiado de manos ya que el lugar ha bajado colina abajo. El pescado de mi amigo estaba seco y demasiado cocido. Mi pizza estaba llena de orégano seco y la masa estaba empapada. Cuando me quejé, el gerente fue truculento y no mostró deseo de mejorar la calidad - solo argumentó. Me entristece que un restaurante tan bueno sea ahora horrible.

Éramos un grupo de 6 amigos - no habíamos reservado un lugar contento de conseguir una mesa. ¡Desearíamos no tener que ser honestos! 3 de nosotros teníamos la pasta especial - fría - pedimos que se calentara en el microcoche como era tan Frío. Otro plato de pollo también estaba frío y eso fue devuelto. La pizza estaba bien. 4 'de 6 comidas devueltas y tuvimos una larga espera para que las comidas fueran devueltas. Hubiéramos estado felices de que se calentaran. Pero creo que fueron hechos de nuevo. Los otros habían terminado sus comidas antes de que llegara la nuestra. Aunque eran más cálidos, eran insípidos y ciertamente no especiales. La camarera se echó a correr y se sintió abrumada e hizo todo lo posible por arreglar las cosas. Uno de nuestros invitados nos preguntó si podíamos tomar una copa de vino de cortesía mientras esperábamos la llegada de nuestra comida. El gerente no estaba contento con esto. Pero a regañadientes dijo que podríamos tener 3 vasos - No estoy seguro de por qué tres cuando 4 comidas fueron devueltos. Es poco probable que nos quejemos, pero la experiencia fue terrible. We visited it twice, on recommendation and the truth is it is an Italian restaurant with delicious pizzas and the tomato sauce they prepare to make it is perfect, the waiters are very friendly, everything is correct!

Yo y un grupo de amigos fuimos aquí para almorzar antes de ir a Sadler's Wells. Nos sentamos afuera en una calle lateral, que tenía muy poco tráfico, y tenía la sensación de una zona peatonal. Un ambiente encantador, ayudado por el buen tiempo. Tenía un plato de pasta al horno con albóndigas y berenjena, que estaba delicioso. 2 de nuestra fiesta tenían pizzas, que dijeron que eran fantásticas, y uno tenía espaguetis con salsa de tomate y albahaca, de nuevo muy agradable. Hemos probado algunos restaurantes cerca de SW, y esto sin duda va a ser nuestro habitual a partir de ahora. No podíamos fallar. Lo recomendaría a fondo si te gusta la buena comida italiana honesta.

This place had gone downhill so badly…service is slow, food is awful and they currently have about three tables here. We are one of them…Calmari like hard rubber and pizza is soft and sloppy.

The food is good, the service is chaotic with our mains coming out while eating our starters. The food was held back while we ate our starter, this meant the main wasn’t as fresh as it could be.

Poor treatment of customer - I experienced poor customer service when the manager asked me to move inside with my food after initially approving dining outside. I was then directed rudely to a dimly lit area of the restaurant, despite never requesting a takeaway. Even after finishing my meal, there were still free tables outside, making the move unnecessary.

We're so glad that we came here. The menu is exceptionally good and everything that we had was wonderful. Staff were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

So the restaurant is full, it is Italian been there a very long time yet how in Gods name can they ruin a Lasagne? I will tell you how they cook it at Lunchtime and reheat in the evening, unfortunately part of it is concrete! Awful truly awful Avoid

I’m currently learning Italian and Santoré was recommended to me by my classmates and teacher (who’s from Naples and said it’s the best pizza in then U.K. outside of Naples). The food was wonderful and the staff were very attentive throughout and very patient as I practiced my Italian with them. Couldn’t finish my pizza but they gladly let me box it to take it home. Will certainly be coming back to this gem of a place.

We recently dined here, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the appealing presentation, the dishes severely lacked flavor. We ordered the spaghetti with a marinara sauce. The sauce was incredibly bland, devoid of any discernible spices or seasoning. It tasted like plain, unseasoned tomatoes, which was a significant letdown. Honestly, the sauce reminded me of the canned chef boy rd my mom gave me as a kid. Additionally, the spaghetti noodles were far from the desired al dente texture. Instead, they were firm to the point of being extremely chewy, making them quite unpleasant to eat. The burger, though visually appealing, was equally disappointing. It had no flavor whatsoever. The patty resembled canned beef in texture, lacking the juiciness and taste one would expect from a freshly made burger. The overall experience was underwhelming, as the burger looked promising but delivered none of the flavors. The one highlight was the garlic bread, seasoned just right, nice texture, and great flavor. They may have appealing dishes visually, the lack of flavor and improper cooking techniques make it a restaurant I cannot recommend. A meal should not only look good but also taste good, and unfortunately, this establishment failed on both fronts. Definitely not worth the price either.

The food was very good I had swordfish portion was slightly small my friend had lasagna over all had a lovely meal was there approximately 45 minutes a friend passed by bought her a lemonade we asked for our bill about 15 minutes later before our bill arrived a person which I think is the owner came over and said he needed the table as someone was waiting for it I told him not to be so rude as we were waiting for our bill to arrive he again said he needed the table at the same time our bill arrived and I asked for the service charges to be taken off,when we paid our bill minus the service charge the owner mumbled don’t come back basically the owner was very rude and ruined wagtail was a lovely meal

Popped in for take-out. Ordered a margherita pizza, gnocchi and a calzone. Having enjoyed phenomenal versions of all three in Italy, Canada, the US, the UK and other places, I preface this review with that in mind. The margherita was a good margherita. Was it “damn! That’s a bloody amazing margherita?” No. But it was a good margherita. The gnocchi was ok. I wasn’t a giant fan of the flavour of the sauce … I felt the smoked cheese stole from the purer essence you’d expect from gnocchi, but I’m fairly certain these weren’t house-made gnocchi in any event. The others felt the sauce “wasn’t bad”. The calzone was passable. I’m used to calzone being fairly big and full and mildly overwhelming. This was more like a margherita folded in half, with some ricotta and fillings. It was fairly flat. But fine. Overall, good if you’re not expecting next-freaking-level, maybe not “Wowie-wowie-wowie!!”

Disappointingly overpriced. £20 on two aperol spritz and £12 for a watery ‘pimms cocktail’.. spent the same amount you would do in a high end restaurant for mediocre food… sort it out Sentore :(

Sweet service but pizza was a let down. Quite wet and soggy. Unfortunately hasn't kept pace with London's prolific pizza game. There is better quality to be found at other establisments. Edit : Will return to try the neo style as I enjoyed the setting and service. Thanks

Great Italian food at this local Exmouth market restaurant. Its been around for a while and always packed in the evening. Testament to the quality. The menu is large and caters to everyone's needs. Starters are excellent, pizza (plate or by the half meter), calzone, pasta, meat dishes, veg and vegan options too. Well recommended (just keep it our secret)

One of my favourite pizza places in London! (Photo from June 2021). Feb 2023 update: went back craving my delicious pizza but unfortunately I was told that it is now under new management and it shows..Pizza dough quite chewy and heavy, this Italian was left quite disappointed…😞

I ordered lasagna and it was horrible. The meat was tough and there were pieces caked into dry balls. The bottom was burnt and overall it felt like old reheated food. Believe me when I tell you that Tesco lasagna is better quality.

Visited Santoré last Saturday with a group of friends. The service was friendly and the food absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back again!

Mediocre food, unpleasant seating and confrontational staff. Thoroughly miserable experience.

Tasty enough but several mistakes made... Two out of 6 of our orders were wrong - more expensive mixed grills were brought out. We agreed to take them but expected not to be charged the upgraded cost, but when the bill came, we found we were charged the upgraded price. Chose not to make a fuss but it's poor service really. Grilled veg with grilled salmon was largely cold (kept in fridge and rearmed I reckon). Other than that, all fine.

Lovely family feel restaurant, with an authentic Italian menu. We were 2 families with toddlers and a baby. Not only was the food delicious and generous, the staff were also very attentive and accommodating. We ordered a portion of spaghetti Milanese for the kids to share, and they even kindly split it onto 2 plates without us having to ask.

I had lasagne, which was lovely. Very creamy and rich. The staff were really nice and helpful. We explained we were tight for time, and we got our food really quickly.

Classic, authentic, and comfortable Italian restaurant for comfort food and comfort environment. The only difficulty is deciding what to get because it all looks amazing. The speed of service is remarkable (though not pushy in the least) and the wait for walking tables is always very very doable (if any). It's frequently busy and nor hard to see why. Not least, I recently forgot my purse and instead of waiting for me to call them panicked the next day, an extremely kind member of staff followed us a few blocks as we were leaving to alert me to it and return it. Honestly blown away by that. Nonetheless, the food is excellent and we will be back again as it is a favourite:)

One of the few pizzerias serving panuozzos, Sarracino one is good. Unfortunately their online order platform is a joke: prices are the same as main menu, dish availability is not updated (they ran out of Easter special pastiera and I learn about at the restaurant, no refunds, their tiramisu tastes like Poundland's) and ETA increases every minute - still going on after I collected the order! Staff were apologetic but overall negative experience.

There's a certain charm to this restaurant . The food was very good, though perhaps a touch expensive for the quantity. The Italian looking chef wrapping himself when popping out as though he was entering the arctic, I like to think gave a feeling of Italian authenticity. It was just after lunch time , so readily served by delightful and polite staff. The place has few soft furnishings, so all the hard surfaces mean it's a bit noisy , especially where the wine on certain tables is plentiful. I enjoyed my meal and visit here and no doubt will return. Thank you

Popular, casual Italian resto in the busy Exmouth market district of Clerkenwell. I enjoyed the swordfish, but the menu includes many favourite options, including pizza.

Thoroughly enjoyed my latest trip to Santore on a Saturday afternoon. I had the rolled pizza with mozzarella, ricotta, a smoked cheese and aubergine, with mixed veg on the side. It took a few minutes extra to arrive but not too much of a problem, I was worried about my veg going cold. Rolled pizza was very large in size, fresh and delicious. I think they use sourdough bases, which adds to the flavour and gives a springy texture that's satisfying to eat. Friend very much enjoyed his pasta with sausage and broccoli sauce, again a nice big portion. They forgot to bring the bill, but as there were enough staff on, it was easy to find someone to remind them. Difficult to use a 5* scale but I'll go for the generous side as these places need our support and this restaurant is fun and vibrant, with a menu I love, full of rustic, tempting dishes.
