Zeyna Bistro & Bar in East Hertfordshire

I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the food was here. I came here for a dinner with my cousin and wanted to stay local. The starters were amazing and the mains were also a hit. I would definitely recommend and would return. We visited on a Thursday evening about 6:15pm so it was pretty quiet, but it did get busier as we had finished our dinner. The manager and waitress were extremely friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed the lunch deal. Quality good with reasonable price. We had hot starters and main of chicken rice and prawn pasta. The prawn is cleaned so well, and the texture is so fresh! We ll be back soon! * Plenty of gluten-free options

It was our anniversary, we chose Zeyna as it was private business and homemade food. We loved it. From cocktails to desserts. Highly recommend, nice atmosphere and good food.

From the moment we entered until we left, this was a great place. Good menu, excellent service and amazing food. The quality of the shared seafood platter was incredible, along with the quantity of seafood provided. Our main courses were equally as good. Great coffee to finish off a great Sunday late lunch.

Atmosphere was extremely cozy and warm and the service was super friendly and talkative. And the food was absolutely delicious! I recommend their seafood linguini as it was some of the best pasta I’d ever had! Is 100% a must try!

Absolute BEST bottomless brunch I’ve been to. Food was amazing, large portions, fresh and delicious. Fizz was free flowing. We struggled to finish both the food and the fizz (we managed somehow). Able to take our time. Alex the Manger was superb, fantastic service and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back on a regular basis.

During my visit to the town, I had an exceptional experience at this charming restaurant. Having lived most of my life in the Middle East, I can confidently say that the food here is truly authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and absolutely perfect. The service was excellent and efficient, with friendly staff. - The moussaka: 9/10 - The lamb: 10/10 - The hummus: 10/10 - The lamb liver: 10/10

Curious about the place, my wife, I and a very dear friend of ours sat down with our waitress Hatice, very sweet, kind, professional and decidedly competent. As a starter, we took the Hummus, the Tzaschy sauce and the mushroom arancinette. All expertly cooked and tasty, unique flavours. The first equally lived up to expectations. Exceptional selection of Mediterranean foods and dishes. Greek, Italian and Turkish dishes, all excellently prepared and served. Perfect location, on the corner of the main crossroads in Bishop Stortford. Very glamorous interiors, tael colors, and paintings worthy of an art gallery. Fantastic experience to try again and easily recommend. Seeing is believing!❤️

We enjoyed our evening meal at Zeyna. Staff were friendly and attentive. The decor of the restaurant was modern and clean. We shared the seafood platter to start and were blown away by the amount of fresh seafood and fish. It was really delicious, especially the juicy king prawns. Amazing portion sizes, unfortunately we didn’t have room for dessert. Will be back to try these!

The place is great for a family night out or taking your loved one to a special date. Alex is very friendly and sociable, his food recommendations were stunning. When you come here you should try their chicken, it’s the best one I’ve had.

Excellent food and service. I started with the lamb and hummus, I don’t normally order lamb when out as I risk fatty pieces which I hate, but this was very tender and tasty with the perfect amount of spice, my husband had prawns and they were delish! Chicken a la crème for main was yum. If you’re having two minds trying this place like I was, but I’m so glad I did and it deserves all the 5 stars. Will definitely be revisiting!

We went to Zeyna last night. We fancied trying somewhere new/different from our usual places in Stortford, plus we like mediterranean/Greek food. It turned out to be a good decision. Food was great and service was excellent. Between us we had chicken skewers, Greek meat mousakka, Greek salad and strawberry cheesecake, all of which were very tasty. Also good for gluten free. Would definitely recommend.

Have been twice for lunch and it has been delicious! Ordered tzatziki first time and hummus with lamb second time for starters. Portions were large with plenty of bread! Both times for mains I had prawn linguini and the prawns were large, juicy and delicious!...

Lovely little restaurant, great service and staff. Generous portions, and abundance of lovely fresh bread, walked away feeling full. Had the rib eye, it was OK, but as I've found in so many of these restaurants in Stortford, the meat tasted very bland, not sure if this is due to being frozen etc. Or poor quality cut of meat. Otherwise highly recommended this restaurant.

Tonight was our first visit. Lovely food, service was brilliant. The manager is lovely and very easy to talk to. They have a load of competitors in Bishops Stortford but would put them on my no 2 of restaurants.

Tried Zeyna for the first time last night, the decor and style of the restaurant is really nice and the service was very personable and friendly. I had the pina colada mocktail, which was lovely and thick and had a really nice flavour. I had the lamb with hummus for my starter. which was really well flavoured, a bit on the spicy side if you’re not good with spice but it was lovely! The portion size was really good for a starter too! I then had the seafood sharing platter as my main. It was huge! The tempura prawns and calamari were my favourite! The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food and drink came fast and was tasty! I would definitely come again to try more on the menu!

Had a lovely dinner here for my first try of Zeyna. I had the lamb shank which was delicious and I felt stuffed after. I had no complaints of the service or food I just sometimes wish at these restaurants that the meze style starters were cheaper so that it could be a more feasible dinner option to have multiple meze dishes instead of a main.
