Zeugma Authentic Turkish Restaurant in Manchester

OVERPRICED AND Charged us more! We ordered a mix lamb platter which costs £55 but was charged £59.95 instead. Only realised this after coming back home and realising on the menu. They take the menu away so way of checking the prices after!! My advice take a picture or note what you order and the price! Kids meals were overpriced for a few chips and three pieces of chicken at £9. We were given a very small plate of salad for the whole mix platter and for kids to share! Drinks are very diluted and over priced again. Service charge was added at £10.67 at 20% which is expensive for bringing a few plates! This should be an optional cost and not to be added from the start. Most restaurants do not add this. The price should include for dining in! The music in the restaurant was too loud which gave my children headaches. We were sat near the kitchen which meant waiters entering and leaving the place allowing for a lot of noise and just took away from the whole experience. We asked to be moved but was told the high chair would only be allowed on this one large table. One high chair for the entire restaurant? Unbelievable! Will not visit again to be honest. Was too expensive for a medium sized meal. Very strange staff who barely speak and just grunt and nod. Not worth the price paid at all. There are other options out there.

My partner and I visited on Wednesday affernoon which is our day off and had a really lovely meal here. We had shared a mixed platter and it was all absolutely delicious! We'll be back for sure.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this Turkish restaurant. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, perfect for two people, and incredibly satisfying. The service was outstanding, with the staff being both attentive and friendly. The complimentary bread and tea were a lovely touch that added to the overall warmth of the experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Turkish cuisine!

I treated my Dad to a meal here Located in the heart of Didsbury village alongside lots of other restaurants Sigma is doubled fronted and has plenty of seating inside. We chose a beautiful sunny day so the windows at the front were wide open giving a nice inside out feel. The table itself was a beautiful wood with resin inlays. Really beautiful. Our food came altogether with some tree dips and bread, which normally come a bit quicker. We were relaxed and in no rush so didn’t notice. My parents drink hot drinks only and our Mint tea didn’t arrive with the meal. The manager gave us all a round of Turkish tea to finish If we had mentioned our Birthday then we would have got a free cake. 6 of us ate really well and spent £150 My dad had a lamb shank My Mum had salmon fillet I had a chicken grill My teenagers shared a meat platter My hubby had a green salad Like I said all the Meze came at the same time. We would return here as the food was tasty and range of food good. Everything arrived hot and tasted fantastic

Best restaurant in Didsbury by far in my opinion, we have been multiple times and have never been close to disappointed. Zeugma is a must-go if you are in the area or not!

Never had a bad meal here. Always fed well with wonderful food and great service.

Lentil soup was nice and creamy, although a bit salty. Enjoyed the salad which was on the house. Chicken Tavuk was tasty as well, although a bit salty too. Overall nice ambiance and service.

I've been eating out in Manchester for 13 years, and this is one of the best restaurants I've been to. The mixed grill for two was exceptional. The meat and chicken was very fresh and very tender. The service and venue was excellent too, and ideal for those with small babies.

We visited the resturant on the 19th July. Ate outside on the main road the weather was fantastic ordered a mixed kebab it came with salad rice it was super special. Staff could not do enough, really good experience. Thank you Chris & Jackie

A very tasty authentic meal, which really filled us up. We had the cold meze to start and the Baba Ganoush was lovely. The staff were really pleasant too.

My partener didn’t like lamb chops before visiting this place . Now he really likes it . They converted both of us to baklava fans ( they later told us is home made ) . Great food , great service , good atmosphere . We will be back

We went in the middle of the day so we didn’t have the experience others are talking about here regarding slow service. My main issue is the illusion of the lunch menu portions are so so small if you are a grown adult you may still be hungry, my prawn starter was 2 prawns and my husbands sausage was just one small thumb size sausage. Same with the mains - the Adana kebab also didn’t have any flavour and that’s a shame as what I’m use to Adana wise is out of this world. The chicken shich tho was very nice, as were the starters just far too small.

One of the best restaurants in Manchester. Every plate was special in its own way. We ordered chicken shish and adana, which were both delicious and came with mixed rice and couscous. We also ordered Sarma lamb beyti, chicken salad, and grilled halloumi, all of which tasted fantastic. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and it will not be my last visit.

Really impressed with food and service when we ate here a couple of weeks ago. They gave us additional items such as dips salad and breads and explained they were complimentary. Also they served a complimentary Turkish tea. Very impressed overall

The food is not bad by the service was poor , the waiter hardly knew the restaurant or what’s on the menu. I asked for baby changing facility and he sent me downstairs to the ladies toilet without any baby changing facilities. When I asked him again he said he didn’t know and had to ask someone else. At the end we had to go to the back of the restaurant to get my daughter changed while the owner asked me not to make a mess in a very rude way!

My daughter and I recently visited for breakfast, and it was an experience to cherish. Being Turkish and originally from north London I was feeling a bit homesick and I spotted Zeugma's morning menu while strolling on the high street. The restaurant is warm and inviting, with a beautiful blend of traditional Turkish decor and modern touches. We decided for the full Turkish breakfast which comes with Turkish tea, and it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The spread included an array of fresh cheeses, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, grilled helim/halloumi, sucuk (Turkish sausage), turkish honey, sour cherry jam, turkish clotted cream and fresh bread. Each bite was bursting with flavor. It was so relaxing to just sit back and eat that we spent around 2 hours just talking and watching the world go by by as we sat by our open window table. The staff are so friendly and always smiling. I mentioned in passing conversation when we got the bill that it was my daughter's 16th birthday and that this was a treat for us, well the staff went above and beyond by bringing out a birthday brownie for my daughter, complete with candles and a song. It was a heartwarming gesture that made her day special and added a personal touch to our dining experience. I'm definitely going back again. Very relaxed atmosphere and the prices are affordable, I plan to go back again with my daughter to have another traditional Turkish breakfast but this time I will bring my kindle and my daughter will bring her sketch book so we can enjoy the morning until lunch time when we can order some lunch coz the menu looks banging. çok güzel 😚
