Visiting Bicester for the weekend with the wife. Popped into this restaurant as the food looked good from the reviews. And I must say the food and service was Amazing. So Delicious. It was so good I gave a nod to the chef in the kitchen. If we come back to Bicester we with defo eat here again. Oh yes I have to say the broccoli 🥦 was Fantastic, steamed but had a touch of butter. Wow 👌 Loved it.

Came to Bicester Village and a 10 minute walk from there was this little hidden Turkish gem. Had the Korean chicken and humous for starters and a mixed shish and chicken kotre for main. Food was delicious, service was very good, very attentive and kept checking we were happy with the food. Highly recommended and on a nice cool quiet road too

We visited at 18:30 and although still quite early there were a few people already eating. Menu has a good mix of cuisine and food was very satisfying. I like Turkish food and this certainly had some twists although still very tasty. We would definitely visit again

Bread was awfully stale, food took over and hour to come and was cold, servers couldn’t care less. Other diners around us complaining also of wait times. It was a quiet Sunday? Awful. Avoid and go elsewhere, you’ll regret it here I assure you of that.

We randomly popped into this joint, ans glad we did. A warm welcome from Ahmed Rubel as we came in. We ordered a mixed grill and the salmon, aswell as the chicken liver. The Lamb was 10/10.. and the rest were great too. Resonable prices for grwat quality. Impressed with our visit. Thank you!

Beautiful place for food in Bicester. The meat and chicken is very fresh. Burgers are prepared in house and not processed like a typical restaurant. Adana and mixed Shish very reminiscent of being in Istanbul. Really loved the food. Hospitality was second to none! Would definitely recommend anyone for food to surely try this place out. Considering we had travelled from Leeds, this is a must and favourite for us in Bicester! Thank You

I had wanted to try this restaurant since it opened with Mediterranean food being my favourite cuisine. Today we had a reason to celebrate after I got a new job offer. When we ordered our drinks I asked the waitress for 2 portions of bread and hummus to keep us going as we had two hungry teens with us. We then later ordered starters and mains. The bread and hummus pre starter did not arrive and the first food to arrive at the table was the starters. I cannot fault any of the food and we enjoyed all the dishes. At the end of the meal the bill came and the two hummus appeared on the bill at a cost of £12. I mentioned to the waitress that these had not arrived, she was quick to point out that they had and that I had asked her to leave it on the table for the mains. This had actually been a falafel dish which had hummus on it. They then removed 1 hummus from the bill. I again pointed out that neither of the hummus arrived. The waitress then again said that I was wrong as she saw the dish which had pomegranate seeds on top. The dish she referred to was in fact babaganoush. At being argued with and indirectly called a liar twice I began to get very upset as my integrity was being called into question. The bill was well over £100 and if I could not afford 2 hummus dishes I would not be spending over £100 on dinner in the first place. Her disrespectful attitude and the way she made me feel has meant we will never return. This is a real shame as we had already said as a family how great the food was and that we really wanted to come back. The manager came over at the end and was very pleasant and apologetic. The dishes we did not receive were removed from the bill and he gave 10% off. I would like to make it clear to the restaurant however that this was not about getting discount or items for free. I am more than happy to pay well for good food and service but will not pay for items I did not receive. Such a shame that a rude waitress spoilt a happy occasion for my family.

Drinks arrived on time, but food was quite late. Food itself was underwhelming at best. However our waitress was amazing and offered us free table bread and a dessert on the house.

Very less vegetarian options but great spread for Turkish cuisine

Zayka is one of my wife’s and I favourite restaurants to eat out and take out. The staff are all very friendly and we always get the best service when we visit. The food has never lost its touch and quality and the new menu is absolutely amazing. I would say the best Turkish restaurant in Bicester offering value for money.

We went for dinner after visiting Bicester village. Atmosphere Ian’s service is excellent. However, food is average. Lamb shish was not well cooked. Biryani and burgers were fine. Humus was good.

This restaurant has a really nice ambiance. I felt at home as soon as I walked in. The staff were friendly and allowed me to pick a table of my choice of where to sit. I ordered the Mixed Zayka Shish. Also under the soft drinks section I chose the pomegranate mocktail. The food come in good time and was fresh and presented beautifully. The mocktail was finished off with pomegranate seeds at the top of the glass to give it a classy touch. It tasted amazing. 😋 Having never been here before I didn't know what to expect but the service was impeccable. Ahmed even gave me free chocolates at the end as a thank you for coming. He's such a nice guy. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Biscester.💯

Very disappointed!! We had wanted to visit for a very long time but had heard mixed reviews from friends. So we went on Friday with some friends. Had to ask twice to order our food.!! Asked for a bread basket for the table as we had been waiting nearly 40 minutes just to order our foor, beard basket came out straight away, but unfortunately, microwaved bread isn't the greatest, especially when you just get a basket of bread NO dips of even a little olive oil..!! 🤷🏽 we couldn't barley swallow the bread as it was so dry. Cocktails do not look like your website pictures, not even in the same glass. My wife had a passion fruit cocktail, which looked like someone had just rung the dish cloth out in the glass.!! My friend ordered the mudslide cocktail only to be told 10 mins later it wasn't available..!! The Food... We had already been warned by a family member to avoid any of the just lamb dishes, especially the lamd shank, so we did..!! We had hummus and chicken wings for starters, and hummus was a decent size portion but came with more microwaved bread..!! The chicken wings, which we're just the small cut of the wing and only 5 of them, looked like they had been brought from Aldi and cooked till completely dry, not great value at £5.95..!! So we all ordered mixed Zayka and Tavuk shish's for mains. To be fair, the mains we're ok lamb in the mixed shish were all fatty cuts of lamb, but all ok 👍🏻 But £15 for a few cubes of chicken, lamb, salad garnish, and some sauce seemed a little overpriced as we had to order rice, fries, and wedges, separately for an additional £14-£15. All in all, very basic food, overpriced, and the cocktails we got to try, we're disgusting all for just over £150 for 4 people, nearly £40 a head..!! We could have all gone and had a DECENT Kebab from the amazing Kebab Van in market square for £40 The restaurant also felt very unclean. Even the waiters' clothing was dirty. We have always enjoyed Denis's Turkish restaurant, so we will continue to go there in the future, but atleast we tried Zayka.. 🤔

I have eaten inside the restaurant a few times and it has always been spot on, really lovely food. Unfortunately first time doing takeaway and it was all completely cold on arrival ☹️

Will never attend here again. The waiter was insanely rude, made a latte that was NOT a latte. We asked nicely to send it back as it was not a latte and for it to be remade, he started arguing with us using his minor english skills. Argued it was a latte and he has never seen anyone put a “vanilla shot in a latte”, he then said “i hate you type of customers”. As he barely spoke english, we asked to see his manager which he proceeded not to provide this request. We literally walked out without taking a bite of our food Disgusting behaviour and I genuinely hope their CCTV has voice recording to back up my story. Will NOT be returning.

I recently visited Bicester for a meeting. After the meeting, we inquired about some nice grilled food and were told that a Turkish restaurant was the best choice. We arrived at Zayka and were immediately impressed by the stunning interior and great ambiance. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered quite a bit of food to try out the main dishes on their menu, and everything was bursting with flavours. Each dish was beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful. However, the grilled halloumi was a bit chewy, but aside from that, everything else was top-notch. If you're looking for delicious Turkish cuisine in Bicester, I highly recommend Zayka. The food, atmosphere, and service are all excellent.

Honestly one of the best Halal restaurants in london, we come from saudi Arabia and we have enjoyed the five start food tasting and services i advise to try the grilled salamon and im sure all other food are outstanding

The most beautiful and tasty food. I rarely clear my plate in restaurants and often ask for a doggy bag to take half of my food home. Not this time, I cleared my plate and thoroughly enjoyed every fork full. Just wished we weren't just visiting Bicester, bit far to travel back from the North East. But, you never know, we may be back. Thank you to the amazing staff🥰

They told me it is a Turkish restaurant but unfortunately it wasn't and they lied about it non of the staff was Turkish and I believe the owner will be be Bangladeshi as the staff including chefs it is below morals to sell something which doesn't belong to you .

Food was amazing, but came very slow, unfortunately. Maybe we caught them on a bad evening. I had the chicken mafosolia (bean stew), which was very good, but because it came late my baby was already crying to go home and I didn't have time to finish it. The team made up by being very friendly and accommodating to our family, offering to hold her and give her milk. Thank you. Hopefully next time we go, the experience will be even better.

Bit of a let down if I’m being honest. Wife read reviews online and it seemed decent enough. Arrived and shown to a very nice looking table but very impractical so asked to be moved to a conventional table where you can get your feet under. Given drinks menu, perused over this and made our choices, wife ordered the “Pink Lady” only to be told no cocktails were available! I asked for a Cobra and was served Efes! Sat with our drinks looking over the food menu. Very limited menu and not as many Turkish dishes as we’d hoped for. Usually some complimentary bread and humus on the table while you wait to order but none here. Ordered our starters and mains. Asked our waiter for his opinion on what sides to order as they have to be ordered separately, his English wasn’t great so we just had to chose a bit blind. Grilled halloumi was cold, humus and bread (we ordered) was bland and the glazed cauliflower which was lovely! Mains of chicken shish and lamb biryani, were ok, nothing special. A bit dry and overcooked, sauces were ok but again that’s about all. Ended up with sides that weren’t really needed, just a little knowledge and opinion from your waiter goes a long way! All in all just a very ordinary meal out, nothing special. Won’t be returning unfortunately, which is a shame because we do like to support local restaurants.

Polite and professional staff, and delicious food. My only criticism is that the layout of the restaurant would be difficult to navigate for those with disabilities. There is a step to enter the premises and there are stairs to access the toilets so wheelchair-bound guests have no way to reach those facilities.
