the food was brilliant but unfortunately it was cold. that said, I'd still order again!

Very disappointed!! We had wanted to visit for a very long time but had heard mixed reviews from friends. So we went on Friday with some friends. Had to ask twice to order our food.!! Asked for a bread basket for the table as we had been waiting nearly 40 minutes just to order our foor, beard basket came out straight away, but unfortunately, microwaved bread isn't the greatest, especially when you just get a basket of bread NO dips of even a little olive oil..!! 🤷🏽 we couldn't barley swallow the bread as it was so dry. Cocktails do not look like your website pictures, not even in the same glass. My wife had a passion fruit cocktail, which looked like someone had just rung the dish cloth out in the glass.!! My friend ordered the mudslide cocktail only to be told 10 mins later it wasn't available..!! The Food... We had already been warned by a family member to avoid any of the just lamb dishes, especially the lamd shank, so we did..!! We had hummus and chicken wings for starters, and hummus was a decent size portion but came with more microwaved bread..!! The chicken wings, which we're just the small cut of the wing and only 5 of them, looked like they had been brought from Aldi and cooked till completely dry, not great value at £5.95..!! So we all ordered mixed Zayka and Tavuk shish's for mains. To be fair, the mains we're ok lamb in the mixed shish were all fatty cuts of lamb, but all ok 👍🏻 But £15 for a few cubes of chicken, lamb, salad garnish, and some sauce seemed a little overpriced as we had to order rice, fries, and wedges, separately for an additional £14-£15. All in all, very basic food, overpriced, and the cocktails we got to try, we're disgusting all for just over £150 for 4 people, nearly £40 a head..!! We could have all gone and had a DECENT Kebab from the amazing Kebab Van in market square for £40 The restaurant also felt very unclean. Even the waiters' clothing was dirty. We have always enjoyed Denis's Turkish restaurant, so we will continue to go there in the future, but atleast we tried Zayka.. 🤔

I have eaten inside the restaurant a few times and it has always been spot on, really lovely food. Unfortunately first time doing takeaway and it was all completely cold on arrival ☹️

Will never attend here again. The waiter was insanely rude, made a latte that was NOT a latte. We asked nicely to send it back as it was not a latte and for it to be remade, he started arguing with us using his minor english skills. Argued it was a latte and he has never seen anyone put a “vanilla shot in a latte”, he then said “i hate you type of customers”. As he barely spoke english, we asked to see his manager which he proceeded not to provide this request. We literally walked out without taking a bite of our food Disgusting behaviour and I genuinely hope their CCTV has voice recording to back up my story. Will NOT be returning.

I recently visited Bicester for a meeting. After the meeting, we inquired about some nice grilled food and were told that a Turkish restaurant was the best choice. We arrived at Zayka and were immediately impressed by the stunning interior and great ambiance. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered quite a bit of food to try out the main dishes on their menu, and everything was bursting with flavours. Each dish was beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful. However, the grilled halloumi was a bit chewy, but aside from that, everything else was top-notch. If you're looking for delicious Turkish cuisine in Bicester, I highly recommend Zayka. The food, atmosphere, and service are all excellent.

Honestly one of the best Halal restaurants in london, we come from saudi Arabia and we have enjoyed the five start food tasting and services i advise to try the grilled salamon and im sure all other food are outstanding

The most beautiful and tasty food. I rarely clear my plate in restaurants and often ask for a doggy bag to take half of my food home. Not this time, I cleared my plate and thoroughly enjoyed every fork full. Just wished we weren't just visiting Bicester, bit far to travel back from the North East. But, you never know, we may be back. Thank you to the amazing staff🥰

They told me it is a Turkish restaurant but unfortunately it wasn't and they lied about it non of the staff was Turkish and I believe the owner will be be Bangladeshi as the staff including chefs it is below morals to sell something which doesn't belong to you .

Food was amazing, but came very slow, unfortunately. Maybe we caught them on a bad evening. I had the chicken mafosolia (bean stew), which was very good, but because it came late my baby was already crying to go home and I didn't have time to finish it. The team made up by being very friendly and accommodating to our family, offering to hold her and give her milk. Thank you. Hopefully next time we go, the experience will be even better.

Bit of a let down if I’m being honest. Wife read reviews online and it seemed decent enough. Arrived and shown to a very nice looking table but very impractical so asked to be moved to a conventional table where you can get your feet under. Given drinks menu, perused over this and made our choices, wife ordered the “Pink Lady” only to be told no cocktails were available! I asked for a Cobra and was served Efes! Sat with our drinks looking over the food menu. Very limited menu and not as many Turkish dishes as we’d hoped for. Usually some complimentary bread and humus on the table while you wait to order but none here. Ordered our starters and mains. Asked our waiter for his opinion on what sides to order as they have to be ordered separately, his English wasn’t great so we just had to chose a bit blind. Grilled halloumi was cold, humus and bread (we ordered) was bland and the glazed cauliflower which was lovely! Mains of chicken shish and lamb biryani, were ok, nothing special. A bit dry and overcooked, sauces were ok but again that’s about all. Ended up with sides that weren’t really needed, just a little knowledge and opinion from your waiter goes a long way! All in all just a very ordinary meal out, nothing special. Won’t be returning unfortunately, which is a shame because we do like to support local restaurants.

Polite and professional staff, and delicious food. My only criticism is that the layout of the restaurant would be difficult to navigate for those with disabilities. There is a step to enter the premises and there are stairs to access the toilets so wheelchair-bound guests have no way to reach those facilities.

RACIST SHOP! SERVED EVERYONE BUT US EVEN WHILST WE WAS FASTING! Refused to apologise to my friends and kept making excuses for why we didn’t have our food. The manager specifically very disrespectful and spoke to us like we were nothing.

Me and my two friends came here to break our fast after visiting Bicester village, we came in and ordered and had been waiting an hour, after all the tables had received their food who came after we had came, we had to ask where our food was and why everyone received their food before us. The staff kept saying sorry it's coming , then the joke of a manager came to us and was being so rude saying we didn't have any starters (which we did) and that's why we were waiting and then said everyone else was fasting that's why and we said we're fasting too, to which he responded with so much hostility and never apologise once and was so rude. Then we decided to just walk out because it was just disgusting behaviour from the manager once we walked out he followed us out and was shouting saying yeah just leave I don't care. I've never been treated like this ever, I was honestly in so much shock. Do not come here, disgusting horrible behaviour honestly. The young lady who took our order was extremely lovely and was not at fault whatsoever but the manager kept trying to pin it on her saying oh she didn't say you had a starter and then turned around and said we're lying and didnt order a starter. We was also contacted by the lovely table next to us of customers who found my friends Instagram from the previous review she left here and said she was so disgusted by how we were treated and he continued saying horrible stuff outside while we walked out and she even had to confront him because she felt so bad about how we were treated and he even said to her we were lying about being Muslim DISGUSTING HORRIBLE PERSON.

After checking the reviews we decided to try it. It was my birthday and there was a party of . All was pre booked in good time. This is NOT a turkish restaurant is is a Turkish themed restaurant. My father's chicken for his starter was not cooked. Even the 2nd offer wasn't to special. Service was very slow. The main course my father had was sold out!! We were not advised until our main courses were due. I am not sure what the dry ice was all about as the waiter just said 'smoke' Unfortunately a couple from my party were ill afterwards as well. It was a shame because it is nicely decorated and has a nice atmosphere. Just felt like it was trying to be something it isn't. There were to many excuses and for a Sunday the service was not acceptable. As a good will gesture they offered alcohol which most of our party declined. Perhaps it was a blip However I doubt that myself or my family would recommend it or think about returning. Such a shame after the good reviews here. Perhaps we just caught them at a bad time. It is NOT a turkish restaurant. But a Turkish themed one

Four of us visited early evening on a Friday & were initially surprised as there was no-one else dining, though more people did arrive as the evening went on. For our food we all had different starters & mains & two people shared a desert. All the meals were excellent with nicely sized portions & some courses were slightly different to what you might expect such as my moussaka. At the end of our meal we were all given a complimentary drink which was a nice touch. The restaurant is nicely decorated & the staff were very good. We paid a fair price for a very good meal & shall definitely be returning.

We received a very warm welcome on our arrival at Zayka. The restaurant looked clean and the decor was spot on. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout and very patient when a couple of our party were running late. There was a good choice of the food on the menu and the waitress was very helpful with helping me choose despite my indicisiveness. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. We had batata harira (nice and spicy which staff warned us about), mixed zayka shish, Zayka burger and Zayka crispy fried chicken burger. The slice of chocolate fudge cake served for dessert was huge! We had a lovely evening and the whole meal was very good value for money too. We will be back soon!

We came here on the 28th Dec, so a little overdue, but this place was fantastic. We were searching for an halal place for us hungry souls after a day out shopping in Bicester, and came across this place in google search. Well actually it was the 3rd one down on the list in order of closeness to where we were, and I’m glad I chose this place. The staff were absolutely friendly and very attentive. There were 6 of us, 2 adults and 4 kids, so we each ordered a main and some starters. We all enjoyed the food, it was beautifully presented, and just so flavourful. The manager very kindly gave us a bottle of water for our drive back to London which was so lovely. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bicester and looking to eat halal. I came for my 30th- It was my first time coming and I don’t have not one bad word to say! The food was melting in our mouths with amazing flavours. The drinks was made to perfection I would highly recommend coming if you want a good Turkish cuisine. The ambiance was lovely along side the service aswell. Will definitely be back ❤️❤️

Had a nice meal, wanted to have the Lamb Biryani but was told it was out, as the biryani were prepared in a large pot and if its finished the biryani its done for the day. Was recommended the lambshank instead and finished the plate clean. Good recommendation to be eaten with the Basmati rice. Ended meal with cup of tea to conclude the meal. Overall experience, 9.5 Food taste, 9.5 Price expected to pay $$-$$$

The food was not tasty and very simple, like a takeaway fast food. Zayka burger was awful as there were hard bits in the burger which were impossible to chew! The lamb moussaka was not cooked as real moussaka, it was cooked such a strange way. The bulgur rice was very dry. There were only 2 of us in the restaurant, NO ATMOSPHERE and the service was slow. Normally, any other Turkish Restaurant would not charge for that burger, I got £3 discount, like a joke. It was my first and the last visit at Zayka.

I understand Xmas period can be tough for businesses, very under staffed. Tables were left uncleaned for a long time. Waited for 40mins to take drink orders and another 1.5 hrs for food. Ladies Toilet was disgustingly unhygienic. Heathrow airport toilet was cleaner.

Had a very nice lunch today with my wife, son and family to celebrate my birthday, the food was delicious, and they even brought out a piece of chocolate cake with a candle on it for me. Lovely relaxing time.

Came on Boxing Day. Had a reservation at 4pm. Didn’t get seated until 4.20pm. No drinks order until 5pm. Ordered food at the same time, and then at 5.30 came back to tell us that what one of us ordered wasn’t available. At the end got fed up and left as waiting 1.5 hrs to just be told it’s not available was unacceptable. They need more staff or better training!! Can’t comment on the food as we couldn’t get it in the end.

I went with a group of 8, the service was quick and decent. The food was lovely ( except the ARAYES). I would highly recommend the Lamb Birayani as it's really took me over the moon 😇. The place is small (few tables), you need to book in advance to avoid disappointments.

As a vegetarian, my choices are often limited but I do enjoy Turkish cuisine. My compliments to the chef for the Batata Harra but most importantly the fresh Humus! Thank you.

We came in on the off chance after photographing a wedding on a Saturday. Despite being super busy we were found a table after a short wait. Food is excellent, sort of a fusion between Turkish and Asian. Party piece is a starter with a dry ice “smoke” dish around the starter. Service is friendly and prompt. Highly recommended!

Quant little restaurant near the village outlet mall. About 8 to 10 minutes walk from the village outlet. We enjoyed our food immensely. Nice freshly cooked and well seasoned. Our server Qausar was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go again if I come here again.

Loved my meal, tasted amazing, portion was huge. I wasn't sure what to order but the waitress have excellent advice. Thank you. There were a few fruit flies coming in from the open windows, might be someone's food bin out there causing a problem. Either shut the windows and put Aircon on or remove the food bin outside. Marvellous food, and big portions, with doggy bag take-home option, thankfully. Can heartily recommend, and will be back soon. The only problem is narrowing down your choice from an excellent menu. Also Efes on draught, which is not on the drinks menu at present.
