Banbury Kebab And Burger House in Cherwell

I bought a medium kebab with garlic mayo. The following 2 days I was sick. The kebab was the only thing I'd eaten that day! Never again!!

Currently working in Banbury tonight And something about a night shift always makes you hungry so I decided to try here I ordered burger and chips it’s honestly it was amazing best 2am burger Iv had thank you guys I look forward for my next working night in Banbury

Simply the best kebab house in the area

Food was cold. Everything tasted the same. Chips were soggy and really oily, meat didn’t taste fresh. I am dissapointed. It used to be my favourite kebab

They got my order wrong, Ordered a 1/2lb with egg and got a 1/4lb and got charged for the more expensive item. And a bit of a minor point but the Cheesy chips where just chips with cold cheese on.

Great place food was really nice and wel priced. We had the kebab special between 2 of us was filling.

Quite simply the best shish kebab in Banbury!

Just love their food! Always hot, quickly made depending on traffic, but fresh, tasty, there is a big choice, but we have our favourite. Wish they accepted card payment, but hey, ho. Free delivery beyond certain order limit, but if you choose to walk in, they glance at you very soon, acknowledging your presence- it's very reassuring.

Don’t have an issue with the food most of the time but the lady on the phone is rude doesn’t get the order right and charges more than it says on the menu

Words can't tell you how disappointed I am. Ordered food on Saturday night, took two hours to be delivered, no problem I understand they were busy. However food was missing from the order when delivered, I called and asked them to return my money for the missing food and three days later they still haven't. They have until Friday to pay up or then we'll see how clever they are. I can tolerate poor service, but I can't abide having my money taken.

World’s stingiest staff! They put 80% fries, 15% salad, 5% kebab. I will never buy from here. Not worth the time and money. If you have noticed, they don’t have a menu, they change their price every week. I’m so disappointed with them. Worst experience.

If you like the rubbery or plastic taste even after a few this is the place for you. Don't even give the time of day it's that bad

Placed phone order, lady could not speak good English, Asked her to repeat order 4x and then they missed 1x chips and 1x chicken donner

Go to place for Sheesh or kofte, quality usually good although annoyingly the pitta bread invariably falls to pieces by the time I get it home. Update 29/8: stopped off tonight grabbed a doner & chips, very disappointed. Doner meat was cold and dried out, chips had been reheated a couple of times, most of it went in the bin 😞

Gave the driver an extra £5 by mistake as the notes was wrapped up.rang up straight away. Was told the money would be returned to me. An hour later still nothing. Call back up and driver is denying it. Not the first time they’ve not had the correct change or try to leave without giving the change. Stay away!!

Fast service regardless of how busy they are and the food is very high quality and fresh, slightly expensive.

Has to be the best in Banbury. I have been going here for over 30 years and in that time it has never compromised on quality or service. Competitive prices too. Always busy. Speaks for itself.

Best in town. Go for the house special and you will be satisfied. Great burger too. The house chilli sauce is the best around.

I’ve keep eating from many years but every day there are keep going awful. Are you order something they give other thing you tell them to don’t want salad they put salad and many many things . And the food it’s no so tasty like before are probably they keep changing the providers are take in the cheap one .

The staff are rude. And the new person on the phone got my order wrong. I was working there and they seemed to be nice but when you did something wrong your such a bad person

Quality kebabs. All served on freshly grilled pitta bread.

Food is really good and fresh. Staff are lovely. Cash only and had to run home to get my card to get cash out and they held my food for me and it was still hot. Definitely recommend

Best red cabbage EVER!!! Been going for years. Same friendly faces and the food is so much better than some of the competition.

Some staff members really need to learn to listen to the customer and not be rude.

A nice takeaway located not to far from a few decent pubs. I ordered a burger with salad chips and drink I was highly impressed with the quality and taste, the staff were funny and friendly and I will give my recommendation to visit this establishment

Having had kebab from this place over 500 times, I can say it's the most tasty and consistant kebab in Banbury. The staff are friendly and remember you which is nice. Chilli sauce is home made and actually hot rather than a synthetic sauce.

Big improvement over my last review. Staff are great and the food is spot on, and it's very kind on the pocket.

Today I went for lamb doner. Normally they take long time . Today they gave me with in one minute. I feel something different. When I reached home . It was not fresh very cold . It’s shame your are doing such thing in holy month of Ramadan

Lovely burger, I dont do kebabs but the mrs loves this kebab shop and the little one loved the nuggets and chips. Been in banbury for longer than I can remember!

Best place to hangout with friends and family.

Order the kebab. Start to eat it and found the hairs inside. When I call back the office they sad it's rude the way I was unhappy to have hair in my kebab.

Kebab meat was dry they forgot 1 kebab then said it would be straight out 1 hour later still no food... phoned up they said was on its way another 30 minutes later still not here we live 10 minutes from town phoned up AGAIN and was told they would send out now... terrible food terrible customer service and terrible liars.... stay away guys

The halep kebab is fantastic but last nights chips were double dipped and soggy.

Never delivered the right order and never get it in time.many time I cancelled just because that. Really disappointed. The food it's ok and fresh as long as you go and pick up but you still have to wait at least 1hour. Never seen a place like that so busy with only 2 or 3 people dealing with this business.

delivery is bad they always say an hour and it is much more than an hour late, tonight I ordered for family dinner I was told it will take an hour, I called after an hour and 10 minutes and he tells me on the phone that it will still take another 39 minutes, I mean i understand that they have many orders , but there are many opportunities to choose to deliver the food in no more than an hour ..very disappointed.

Unlike the person who wrote the terrible review on this website i have seen the hygiene rating on the window, the gents were cleaning the floors when i went as they just opened in the morning the place was smelling of bleach. The food was amazing and fresh, it was on a wednesday first thing when i walked in to order my food and their meat was arriving, i have seen the helal sign on the meats as they delivered in the shop. I have been a customer here for very long time and we have built friendships with these lovely people here, i would always go back.

Typical kebab house fare but I've been coming here for over 10 years and they're reasonably priced and consistent. Docked a star because they still don't take cards!

One of the worst chicken doner kebabs I have ever had. One of the worst lamb doner kebabs my wife has ever had. The sauces were flavourless, the pitta bread was too thick and the meat was awful. People of Banbury, you should insist on better than this.
