Ordered the beef mince rice box. it was just a box full of rice and a dried burger cut up in pieces on top of it. How is a dried burger minced beef? Never ordering from here again

Foods not great place looks manky should have walked away na got my daughter a pizza which caused an absolute meltdown as didn't resemble any kind of Indian pizza I've ever bought before definitely will not return

absolutely minging horrible pizza asked for pepperoni pizza no extra cheese nothing else just a pepperoni pizza and get this disaster the mountains of cheese on it is absolutely disgusting and the pepperoni isn’t even pepperoni it’s some sort of sausage pure joke and a waste of money do NOT buy from here

Never had any problem with pizza or kebab.Servrice always is good. The zaffron app after update is bad so stopped using it.

Just took delivery of a take out, from here, absolutely disgusting, and I emphasise " Disgusting ", ordered a vegetable curry (cheap frozen small cubes) obviously from a frozen bag, mushy and sauce tasted sweet/curdled.. like it was going off, the so called chef should be ashamed to call themselves a chef, theyre not .!!!!. exact same with the other Lamb curry curry, nan bread was small and cold, pakora was clearly reheated to the point of being solid, rice was clumped together, nothing at all was fresh about any of this ehm."Food" a taste was enough for my family to say order from somewhere else as this food is completely inedible, straight down the toilet, maybe it might clear the drains a bit, that is all this food is good for, waste if money and without a doubt the worse I've ever experienced. Post Script...!! I called to just state how bad the food was and that they should be ashamed to use frozen veg and clearly reheated food.. the guys response, He stated I cut the vegetables myself...! He meant he cuts the top of the frozen bag and beat this..Honestly..! He blamed the Uber Driver! Yup ..it was the Uber drivers fault that the food wasn't fresh!! Avoid ..you'll guaranteed to be just as disgusted as we all were.

Just had a South Indian Chicken pizza, best we’ve ever tasted and we love our Indian meals. Well done x

Order was not delivered after 4 hours from order they updated to say it was delivered which was a lie. Charged and no refund given do not use!!!

Just orders a king kebab with everything on it it’s arrived and it has very little salad and sauce really disappointing

Place is dreadful. Last 2 visits ordered chips and cheese, first one food poisoning, thought I'd give it another chance, the second tonight was literally a tray of uncooked chips that have had cheese melted over the top. Wouldn't even feed it to my raw fed dog.

My wife ordered a “king” kebab from here. Picked it up and when she got home there was no sauce on the kebab, easy mistake, but then when I looked there were only 2 pieces of lamb as well, which one was completely burnt. When she called she was basically told lamb was to expensive and all customers were told this 2 weeks ago!! But no reduction in price. I went back up to get a fresh one with sauce, and yep 2 pieces of lamb. I can understand cost of living and the rise in food, but I can never understand being ripped off or bad service. There are other place’s customers can go and will go.

I have ordered food several times from the Saffron and always got different meals , every meal has been delicious and a very high quality, I am only 5 min from the Saffron but would travel far this special Indian food , very hygienic place and friendly staff , can’t believe I have found this wee gem of a place x

Lamb bhoona was lovely. Nice wee kick, and the lamb melted in my mouth. Chicken pakora and mince samosas were minted as well. My local curry shop has been slacking. I took a notion and I travelled from the South side to get my dinner from this place after trying the curry sauce at a function, had to see if it was a lucky one off or if it was really that good. Will be back. Was defo worth the drive 100%

Absolute shambles - placed order at 6pm, given initial delivery time of 7pm, got an update to say it will be 730pm this comes and goes so I called to be told delivery driver was on the way back and mine would be next out the door (within 10 minutes) called again at 8pm to be told they were just waiting for a driver to come back told them just to cancel as it was beyond ridiculous. Thinkinmaybe the Just Eat stamp

2 hours for a delivery arrived STONE COLD and TASTELESS POOR PORTION SIZES! Called to complain and was told we are busy nothing we can do about it! Shocking customer service WILL NOT BE BACK! One star is being kind

The review below was one I have when ran by Usman. Since he has been forced out the service and food is downhill and will never be same. Will not be back here unless Usman takes over again. Best Indian takeaway around ! Would drive for miles to buy from here ! Staff are excellent too! Cannot fault this place!!

Worst takeaway ever. Rude staff misleading information and cancelled orders. These scammers will try to charge you more for delivery than quoted and paid for. Staff member tried to call to convince me to pay more cash to the driver because they can't set up their own (supposed) correct delivery rates. Steer clear from these crooks.

My son daughter order from here waited over a hour when phoned to ask were good was assistant on phone was rude and cheeky finally once pizza arrived it was a mess and wouldn’t feed it to a dog shocking way to treat customers

Just got an order after waiting an hour the popadoms where soggy and brocken, they forgot the chips, and all was cold neadless to say I won't be ordering in the future did not enjoy at all

Order arrived at specified time 1hour 20 min, which was fine, but order delivered didn’t match what was orders, so call and was pass on to someone, who has a complete attitude to anyone with a complaint, as I ordered through Scoffable, he kept telling me to take it up with them even though he would have see my order! And to top it off, must had been made an hour before as was cold, wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Oh and I’ll be stopping the card payment, he can take that up with Scoffable!!!

Probably if not the best Indian takeaway that I ever had,everything is freshly made,and the prices are the cheapest you will get anywhere,when you go in tell him that a customer called ash recommends this place highly.

Had lovely chicken tikka meal best ave had in ages together with a pizza it was awesome aswell so will be ordering again soon

Best Indian food in the East end
