Truly amazing. Looking forward to our next order. Great communication. Explained that we wanted Vegan dishes and the owner told us which dishes could suit our requirements when cooked from scratch, using fresh ingredients. We're not young and have travelled a bit. We've dined on local cuisines from around the world. We were truly astounded as to how tasty all the dishes were and the poppadoms were the thinnest and lightest we've ever seen. Thank you so much.

Leaflets clearly not delivered just thrown around the street Update to your response. Your leaflets are all over two locks, Cwmbran I wouldn't give you 5 stars for that would i. I appreciate you personally would not have wasted your money doing that. But to call me racist was a mistake on your part. I don't care where your from or what ethnic background you have. I'm just disappointed to see such a mess. Clearly from your company 😡

Good portion sizes, reasonable prices and delivered 10 minutes early. Most importantly though the food was absolutely gorgeous, we enjoyed every bite. We'll definitely be ordering from Zaffran again!

Nicest Indian takeaway we’ve had in a while! Really helpful delivery driver who kept us up to date. Food was delicious and really good price. We also had a few little freebies as it was our first ordered and was very appreciated. Will definitely be ordering again.

Arrived late which was o.k. as they told us it would be late, but the starters were overcooked/burnt and tasted awful. They were bitter and burnt. On the whole it was a bad meal tonight. The kids didn't eat any of theirs and after tasting their meals I understand why. Bad service all round tonight.

Have to say best madras I’ve had in a long time. Spicy, hot and little sweet. Excellent! Biriani was fresh tasty and so much chicken in both curry’s. Nans were huge and tasty… very well done !!!

Disappointed with our collect meal this evening. The chicken in the madras sauce was tough, and the chips were not fresh, they'd been warmed up and were not nice at all. I think it's time to try somewhere else.

I ordered food through JustEat from this place and they sent me gone off meat. I still have a very upset stomach and it has disturbed my plans for the day!

Ordered at 7pm and came at 8:50!!! After I rang at 8:20 they said it was on its way… yup came stone cold so had to reheat and then tasteless and forgot popadoms that we had paid for……

Very friendly driver lovely person, from a korma to a jalfrezi the tastes are amazing, the special Roly poly was hot tonight! , the biryani and peswari naan was tasty, found a gem of a place, a big thumbs up 👍👍

Really disappointed having ordered from here previously. Order was late - delivery time pushed back as we were waiting. Driver apologised but gave us the wrong food. He realised the mistake and rectified after we had started to unpack the bag. He said they were busy but that’s no excuse. The food was lukewarm. Only one tiny bag of salad that was warm, slimy and inedible and only one small pot of mint sauce despite us ordering both bhajis and a chicken tikka main. Dhal was swimming in oil.

First time we have ordered from zaffran we ordered 4 curry's all were excellent although my son did wonder why there was no boiled egg in his murgi masala as there always is from other places

I don’t even know where to start with this I am that angry !!!!! Turned up and all has leaked everywhere to start with, everything in the bag sopping on both the main curry and madras sauce. Keema fried rice portion is that small it may as well be advertised for one person, burnt and cremated special nan for nearly £5 quid with barely any meat in it and stone cold and all for the privelege of £30 quid of my money. High prices, small portions, no care on how it’s delivered, NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!!

Again as a review before wasn't really very hot when arrived not really much meat in the Baltic naan either used to really love this takeaway but hasn't been as great lately not like used to be may look elsewhere which is shame as they can do a real good meal an have had takeaways alot from zaffran.

Really nice food and very polite delivery

2nd time ordering and overall very impressed. Delivery slightly late but only by 10 minutes. They included a free naan as promised as they forgot it last time, and also some free poppadoms. All food very tasty and generous portions as well as piping hot. Dupiaza was a bit average and lacking something - no real taste, but the garlic tikka masala more than made up for it. Amazing value for money and 10/10 service from delivery. Will no doubt order again next time we fancy an Indian.

the delivery was prompt and friendly. HOWEVER, the food, now the food was spectacular, hands down the best curry I ever had (pathia) the chicken was super tender, the sauce spicy and just so flavorful, as was the rest of the food. Definitely ordering again, thank you.

The biriani was lovely. But I requested madras sauce but got masala sauce instead. Which was disappointing because we love spicy food.

Lovely flavour on the biryani, nice heat on the curry. Only negative the chips were a little stale and some of the poppadoms were not crunchy. Would defo use again.

I haven't got anything bad to say everything was perfect at this moment struggling to eat due to me being unable to handle hot curries but it's one of them that you just can't stop full of flavour and just perfect best Indian ive had in ages will be ordering again might just have to try the whole menu xx

Had the lamb rogan and a lamb curry, oh my gosh it was good, lovely flavour. And the prettiest rice I've ever had. Chips were good too. Had to wait a bit longer due to the driver getting a bit lost. But he,was friendly and apologised.

Have been ordering from here for the last few weeks and the food has been perfect every time. The chicken pakora is a level above any other Indian in the area. They always give free poppadoms and the delivery driver is always friendly and on time

We've tried every Indian takeaway in Cwmbran since moving here 12 months ago and always been disappointed. However, the Zaffran Express is a different story. The food was fresh, with lovely rich flavours and delivered hot. Great menu to suit everyone's tastes. Wish we'd discovered these guys 12 months ago !! Will be returning again soon.

Food came 45 minutes late, chips were cold and stodgy, onion bhajis small cold and over cooked. Curry was OK but wouldn't order again

2 and a half hour wait despite originally ordering and it stating 45 mins (once ordered changed to even later - still over an hour past the ETA). Delivery driver was apologetic. Couldn’t get through by phone to get an update. Food was very good and piping hot, however, missing a naan bread despite someone ticking it off the receipt attached to the bag. First time ordering, would order again as food was lovely, but they need to sort their service out and maybe take less orders if they can’t cope

Tastiest pathia curry I’ve had with a bit of a kick to it garlic naan was really tasty and garlicky hot when delivered and went down well 👍

To be honest ,our usual take out was closed so we tried this superb alternative ,I don't think I could ever go back ,this place is absolutely fantastic it's a 5 star rating from 5 of us ,Indian was tasty and delicious, rice was fluffy and light ,I'm ordering from here again, well done .
