Food was late by only 5 minutes, we were informed beforehand of the delay, we had no issues with that. The food was hot and absolutely delicious. The delivery driver was really kind and friendly as well, which I really appreciate. I'd give more stars is it was possible 🌟

Outstanding food. Honestly this was one of the best curries we’ve had in a long time! The Maharaja Bhuna was beautifully balanced with plenty of spice and flavour. This will definitely be our go to take away from now on. Thank you 5*

Lovely big chunks of meat in the curry plus lots of them, usually most Currys are more sauce than meat but not in this case

Ordered food at 18.37 with a delivery time of 19.55-20.15. Called at 20.25 only to be told it's on its way. Called again at 20.49 now it's 10 minutes away. App now has a new ETA of 21.05. That's another 15 minutes. Requested and refused a refund. 21.05 no delivery. 21.15 get a call from the driver who is lost. So I have to stand in the street waving down random cars in the rain. Not a great experience and the food was nearly as cold as I was.

The lamb was like a brick very disappointed couldn’t eat it ☹️

* EDIT* I have now added screenshots of my confirmation email and time, a screenshot of my calls to the restaurant and then phonecalls from the driver all with timestamps. I also wish I was 2 minutes away from the restaurant but unfortunately I am not. We paid £7 for chicken nuggets and chips and you sent 6 soggy nuggets and no chips, luckily we ordered an extra bag to share out. I placed an order on Valentine’s Day as I had previous orders that was beautiful food. The delivery said 45 minutes from order and I had a confirmation email stating this. 1.5 hours later I called and was told the order will be ‘ 10 minutes’ I waited another 45 minutes and was told ‘ the driver is in the car park, go stand outside and find her’ as it was nearly 2.5 hours later I went outside to find the driver in the rain. 10 minutes later I found the driver who was evidently parked outside my house. There were items missing and the food was either soggy/cold/burnt. I tried to contact the store but the phone line was busy. I’m so disappointed, I understand it is a busy day but nearly 2.5 hours with non correspondence and then being told to go stand outside and find the driver with not even nice food is an insult. Won’t order/eat from here again which is a shame due to past orders being lovely.

Excellent food, quality is always good and food remained hot which can be an issue on delivery for some places. One of the best in Cwmbran, their Caldicot branch was also really good.

Zaffran are in my opinion the best Indian in South Wales. I usually order a couple times a month and they've always made delicious meals. I usually order one spicy one mild and each is always packed with flavour. I cannot recommend enough

Nicest Indian takeaway we’ve had in a while! Really helpful delivery driver who kept us up to date. Food was delicious and really good price. We also had a few little freebies as it was our first ordered and was very appreciated. Will definitely be ordering again.

Arrived late which was o.k. as they told us it would be late, but the starters were overcooked/burnt and tasted awful. They were bitter and burnt. On the whole it was a bad meal tonight. The kids didn't eat any of theirs and after tasting their meals I understand why. Bad service all round tonight.

Have to say best madras I’ve had in a long time. Spicy, hot and little sweet. Excellent! Biriani was fresh tasty and so much chicken in both curry’s. Nans were huge and tasty… very well done !!!

Disappointed with our collect meal this evening. The chicken in the madras sauce was tough, and the chips were not fresh, they'd been warmed up and were not nice at all. I think it's time to try somewhere else.

I ordered food through JustEat from this place and they sent me gone off meat. I still have a very upset stomach and it has disturbed my plans for the day!

Ordered at 7pm and came at 8:50!!! After I rang at 8:20 they said it was on its way… yup came stone cold so had to reheat and then tasteless and forgot popadoms that we had paid for……

Very friendly driver lovely person, from a korma to a jalfrezi the tastes are amazing, the special Roly poly was hot tonight! , the biryani and peswari naan was tasty, found a gem of a place, a big thumbs up 👍👍

Really disappointed having ordered from here previously. Order was late - delivery time pushed back as we were waiting. Driver apologised but gave us the wrong food. He realised the mistake and rectified after we had started to unpack the bag. He said they were busy but that’s no excuse. The food was lukewarm. Only one tiny bag of salad that was warm, slimy and inedible and only one small pot of mint sauce despite us ordering both bhajis and a chicken tikka main. Dhal was swimming in oil.

First time we have ordered from zaffran we ordered 4 curry's all were excellent although my son did wonder why there was no boiled egg in his murgi masala as there always is from other places

I don’t even know where to start with this I am that angry !!!!! Turned up and all has leaked everywhere to start with, everything in the bag sopping on both the main curry and madras sauce. Keema fried rice portion is that small it may as well be advertised for one person, burnt and cremated special nan for nearly £5 quid with barely any meat in it and stone cold and all for the privelege of £30 quid of my money. High prices, small portions, no care on how it’s delivered, NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!!

Again as a review before wasn't really very hot when arrived not really much meat in the Baltic naan either used to really love this takeaway but hasn't been as great lately not like used to be may look elsewhere which is shame as they can do a real good meal an have had takeaways alot from zaffran.

2nd time ordering and overall very impressed. Delivery slightly late but only by 10 minutes. They included a free naan as promised as they forgot it last time, and also some free poppadoms. All food very tasty and generous portions as well as piping hot. Dupiaza was a bit average and lacking something - no real taste, but the garlic tikka masala more than made up for it. Amazing value for money and 10/10 service from delivery. Will no doubt order again next time we fancy an Indian.

the delivery was prompt and friendly. HOWEVER, the food, now the food was spectacular, hands down the best curry I ever had (pathia) the chicken was super tender, the sauce spicy and just so flavorful, as was the rest of the food. Definitely ordering again, thank you.

I haven't got anything bad to say everything was perfect at this moment struggling to eat due to me being unable to handle hot curries but it's one of them that you just can't stop full of flavour and just perfect best Indian ive had in ages will be ordering again might just have to try the whole menu xx
