Excellant food and service, will call again

3rd time here and Ive enjoyed the meals,hunters chicken is my fav,staff are great,atmosphere is good we came at 7.30 the place was packed on a tuesday night burger night ,I like there hot chocolate,toilets area wasnt in good standard as lots of toilet paper all on the floors in every cubile.

Lovely experience from start to finish. Fab food and happy staff who went over and above to make us comfortable. Was good to see staff happy in work as you don't see that much these days.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I asked for the gluten free menu which had a reasonable choice compared with other pubs, having a separate menu made it so much easier than looking through a book with the ingredients of all the dishes. Unfortunately I couldn't fit a pudding in, maybe next time.

Catch up with a few friends. Nice varied menu for all tastes. We were also impressed by the decor which looked warm and comfortable.

I visited the greenhouse for an impromptu pint and was welcomed by Meg who showed us to a table. Beth was a lovely bartender and made sure we were served in a timely manner. Perfect pint of Heineken. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Never fails on food always welcoming the greenhouse is our go to

The two lady waitresses were extremely nice and accommodated our 5 adults and 2 week old baby very well with a nice table for our special birthday and celebrating our new baby granddaughter at the Greenhouse. Food was excellent > please inform you chefs and very good value especially your lunch deals with surprisingly good portions of all courses served us. We are out of the Cwmbran area but visit our son who lives close to your pub regularly and we will be back with you soon and more regularly after a good food and service experience. Keep up the excellent set standard.

We went as a family of 3 for lunch. My starter of prawn cocktail was very poor. The few prawns were ice cold. The bread was what you would buy in a supermarket, thin doughy brown bread. The butter was frozen. Main courses. The vegetable chilli was so spicy hot that it burnt you. Very little rice which was yuk, and you would be lucky to find vegetables in it, more nachos then veg. The surf and turf was not much better. The steak was as tough as old boots, could not eat it and guess what the surf was, scamp, tiny one and so cold and greasy. The salad was poor, mushrooms were slimey, and who wants greasy cold onion rings Our main courses were cold when they arrived at our table. The sharing nachos had more chillies then anything else. We left starving as could not eat the food.

First time visiting this beautiful place. Was very busy however found a table for 2. Fabulous food and drinks, great friendly atmosphere. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Will be returning soon!

Had a party of 20 and the staff were really great .food was really nice too

When entering the pub it was warm inviting atmosphere Staff were very quick to greet and take us to our table The table was clean and apporiate condiments on the table When going up to the bar to order we were served promptly the food came out in great time 15minutes It was hot fresh and very tasty 😋 After having a lovely main we decided to have pudding which was lovely I had the cheesecake the presentation was lovely 😍 It was the best meal we have had out in a long time a massive well done to the team out front and staff in the kitchen

Amazing food, no waiting around, could tell it was home cooked and not microwaved. Staff payed attention to you and made sure everything is perfect.

I came in for food with my family on Black Friday, expecting it to be extremely busy, however, we got given a table by Beth, one of the managers, and the food and service was incredible, Meg on the bar, and who I believe to be the landlord made our experience incredibly enjoyable, despite how busy it was, we will definitely be back again!

I had an amazing meal here Wednesday night. The atmosphere was incredible, there were Carol singers which were so special. Our waitress was Meg S and she brought such joy to our evening at the greenhouse.

Lovely festive evening in the pub with a choir singing carols. We enjoyed a lovely meal and a few drinks. The food was good even though the pub was very busy and the staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

Very warm welcome from friendly staff. Pub and a nice comfortable feeling about it, but then it always does.

Nice atmosphere apart from a table of 20+men behind us using bad language at volume. Would have enjoyed meal more if we all didn't need to get up and order/pay for courses. Soup changed to tomatoe not leek as on menu. Fudge pudding gone cold. ( sauce starting to harden) sponge puddings lacked flavour. Had better meals at the greenhouse.

Lovely cosy restaurant, Jayne the landlady is always welcoming and friendly as are all the staff. The Sunday roast was fantastic as usual, great food and drinks, always five star service.

Quality "pub food" served nice and quick! We've been here a couple of times now and never had a problem. Big car park,disabled access, kid friendly (highchairs available for little folk)would recommend booking a table,especially at this time of year!Nice pint of guiness shandy aa well!!

Had a lovely evening at the greenhouse! sirloin was cooked to perfection, and my requests to alter the meal were met happily. Beth and Meg were absolute stars and made me feel very welcome and at home. Big thanks to the kitchen staff also! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely place, lovely staff. Nice atmosphere with a cosy environment. Perfect for a nice meal or a catch up. Spacious garden, child friendly (with lots of room to run around and even an enclosed play area) and even dog friendly.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a very good experience yesterday. We had a table booked for 8 people for lunch. My sister in law had gravy poured over her whilst the waitress served her dinner & the waitress didn’t even apologise, we were extremely shocked by this & upset that she couldn’t even apologise at this action (all over a cream jumper may I add!). The waitress returned with a damp cloth but again still didn’t apologise that this had happened! We were then told we had to give the table back within the next 10 minutes even though we hadn’t even had chance to order any desserts yet! Or had the birthday cake that we’d bought to celebrate my mums birthday! Disappointed & wont be in a hurry to return unfortunately!
