Yung Kee in Bath and North East Somerset

Used to be good, gone incredibly downhill! Ordered for pickup at 8PM, arrived at 8PM, multiple other people turned up and made orders at the counter and got food before us. After complaining food was eventually provided at 8:45PM. What's the point in pre-ordering with a specific time if not honoured?

Order placed almost 2hrs ago and still no food really poor service not good enough

Gobsmacked and utterly destroyed I am a vegan , I told the arrogant man at the dirty till that I was vegan He TOLD me that chicken chow mein doesn’t contain any actual meat and then told me to sort my diet out I’ve never been so mortified at simply just ordering a meal for myself which I thought like I deserved avoid it all costs apparently they have rats

Take away only. It's changed hands recently but the food is still good. Varied menu, quick delivery. Sometimes hard to ring through. Best to order online really.

Food was adequate. Missed a dish from our order though.

Last 2 orders have both been very late. Both ordered online. Order 1: 2hrs 20 wait...... Excuse was they missed the order on their system. Order 2: 1hr 56 wait...... Excuse was the driver broke down .... Probs telling the truth as the food was cold and stodgy when it arrived. No crisp. Lesson learned. Going to avoid this one.

Apparently horrible I have been waiting for my order almost 2 hours and when I called them they said they don’t have my flat number and than they said they tried to contact me after I asked why they didn’t call me to ask the flat numbers because I assumed they new because it’s not the first time order from them but they literally lied to my face saying they didn’t have my number so they are very rude and unprofessional they hang up on me and I never received my order I will never order from them again!!!!😤😖

Ordered from here a handful of times and never had a problem food is always good and delivery is quick however, I recently had a delivery and it came with a surprise a LIVE SPIDER in the food. Completely put me off of eating the rest of our food and won’t be ordering from here again as tried to contact them to complain and get a refund but no reply.

Food always good, Ribs and batter greasy. But service, delivery and bookings 10/10.

Very rude service. Ordered at 7.24pm today, still not here (it's now gone 9pm). The guy I spoke to on the phone the second time, who had already told us our food would be delivered within 10 minutes of my first call - left the phone on the counter and said loud enough for us to hear "Does someone else want to talk to her then, I'm sick of explaining myself to her!" Please note, I didn't shout at this man, I simply asked where our food was. We were then passed to another woman who couldn't understand us, and so we were then passed to a female Delivery Driver to explain that our food was late. Bad service, especially from the man we had the displeasure of speaking to. Edit: The food has finally arrived after nearly 2 hours of waiting (we live 2 minutes from the takeaway) so a shout out to Simon the lovely delivery driver who kindly gave us some fortune cookies and told us to make an official complaint! We need more Simons - I hope he gets a raise and the other guy (who was apparently just stepping in) doesn't return.

It’s illegal to charge for card transactions so remove it.

Absolutely shocking . Tried to call from 6pm no reply engaged , gave up at 6.30pm . Ordered on line 75 mins for delivery called down to confirm order . Lady very very rude told it would be delivered at 7.52pm it is now 8.45pm and still waiting!!!!!!

Take your payment and then say they can’t fulfil order. They should only charge you after confirming delivery.

Absolutely shocking customer service. The woman was terrible, I ordered salt and pepper chicken with chips over the phone for collection only to receive just the chicken, when I went back to explain she gave me awful attitude and was saying it was me who made a mistake. She then proceeded to charge me extra for the chips without any type of apology. I will not be returning, such a same as I don’t come here often but I remembered the previous owners taking pride in his customer service. AVOID

Food has always been ok, but massively let down by continuous late deliveries, average 20+ minutes past requested time and topped it off with 50 minutes late tonight.

Absolutely dreadful customer service. Had this 3 times on the trot now so will no longer use them. Such a shame as the previous owner thrived on customer service aswell as outstanding food.

Ordered a meal for 4. The food was amazing, very tasty and included a nice selection of complementary dishes. Excellent value for money and a second to none service. I wholeheartedly recommend!

Great food. Very tasty. Just visiting the area for work and fancied a Chinese. Service was super quick at less than 10 mins. Had curry, fried rice and bbq spare ribs. All very still hot after the 5 min walk back and the food tasted great. Curry was hot, rice was great, and the ribs were amongst the best I have had. The meat simply fell off the bone. If I lived near here I would definitely use this place regularly.

Good prices, and the sweet and sour prawn balls are the best!

This place is phenomenal. I ordered Singapore fried rice, extra hot and Kung-Po Beef recently and they were generous portions, delivered quickly, reasonably priced, great staff and amazing chefs. But I've ordered almost 3/4 of the items on this menu and I have never once been let down, only this time it was perfect. In nearly 50 years I've had Chinese food all over the world and for a tiny little takeaway place in a small town I can honestly say it is the best Chinese food that I have had outside of China. Simply superlative and utterly delicious. Thank you Yung Kee, keep up the great work and I will see you again soon.

Very disappointed this evening. Waited way over the time was told would be delivered. After ringing to see where our order was, wad told it had just left. I live 3 mins in a car from the shop.it took 16 mind before I was on the phone again. Whilst on the phone the food arrived. Cold, chips wet and cold. We only ordered rice and chips and it was all cold. This place with new owners is a no go. All I wad given was sorry and dead air on the phone. I will not use this place again.

Crispy chilli beef was just batter (no beef) and way too spicy. What happened to this place?! It used to be the best Chinese for miles!

Ordered 2 currys this evening, 1 with rice, 1 with chips. Chips were hard, pale and undercooked, took them back. When I got back had to microwave the currys and rice as they were now cold. Should have taken the lot back! New owners I'm told, nothing like as good as it was, will have to find a new takeaway 🙁

Rang both numbers at 1730 on a Wednesday. Neither answered. Rang 20.45 on a Friday, phone answered and put on hold for 5 minutes. One dish plus rice, about an hour quoted. Didn't bother, their food has always been good, rubbish customer service

The absolute best beef chow mein I have had. Ever.

Although extremely tasty was so salty. Very uncomfortable night spent drinking water. Please cut back on the salt Yung Kee and we will come back.

First time using them today though there was a slight wait the food was well worth it.

Food is great, but I think they should have another order line . I call about 60 to 100 time to get trough always busy phone line, If you got patience to wait then you can enjoy a delicious Chinese food.

Best Chinese in bristol that I've ever had. Special fried rice is lush,crispy seaweed is amazing and you always get good amount of food for the money. Thanks sorry I've had to knock off a star as my most recent order had two dishes that for the first time ever the prawns made the dish taste and smell fishy. Not normal and hope this doesn't happen again.

Very dissapointed had chicken foo yug on Friday evening and been in bed for two days, food poison springs to mind still poorly, was awful and there were prawns in chicken foo yug? The egg looked grey and swimming in juice. Definitely go careful with what you order especially if your allergic to prawns.

By far the best Chineese in keynsham. I've never had a bad experience.

Rang at 5pm to collect at 6pm. Order wasn't quite ready when I arrived which was a little disappointing as I'd given an hours notice, but it was the start of a Friday night. Food was brilliant - all of what we ordered was super nice. Prawn crackers were crispy and fresh. Prices seemed pretty standard but actually good value for money when you see the size of the tubs it comes in. Lots of meat included too, rather than just noodles and a few small pieces of meat. Highly recommend Yungkee!

We have eaten from this Chinese takeaway for over 30 years and would recommend their food to anyone interested. Then also deliver locally but its very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings so there may be a wait.

One of the longest running Chinese takeaway places in Keynsham so must be doing something right. Quite a big menu so plenty of choice. Love the giant vegetable spring rolls.

Delicious food, best Chinese in Keynsham. I've ordered from here (always been pick up rather than delivery) about 5 times and it's always been ready in less than 10 minutes. They accept card payments in the shop but I don't know about delivery. You always get a free bag of prawn crackers and occasionally some free spring rolls too.
