Yum Sing Chinese Takeaway in Hillingdon

Ordered via just eat, barely any chicken in chow mein, received regular coke instead of Coke Zero and I ordered bbq ribs and received what tasted like onion gravy with ribs in it, won’t be ordering from here again! Sent just eat pic of food they requested receipt, but that didn’t come with order!

3 phone calls later and an hour late from the earliest delivery time. This isn’t the first time this has happened but it will be the last!

Was a little surprised that the Egg fried rice came and it was brown rice. It was nice but not as good as when white boiled rice is used as brown rice is a bit dry.

Turns up late wrong order of rice no pancakes with the duck food is horrible have complained to the store about the pancakes and they’ve said there bringing them back but the quality of the food is terrible and cold due to being half hour late

Worst delivery time, waited more then hour, call the restaurant twice, they kept saying another 10 mins. The app said food was delivered which was not true and had to confront them. Not a happy customer.

The food was disappointing. The shredded duck fried rice was chewy and contained a hard piece, possibly a bone. The chicken balls were undercooked and soggy, and the char siu buns tasted like they had just come from the freezer, not fresh. While the chow mein was average, the overall quality was poor. I’ve given a 2 instead of a 1 because the delivery was on time, even slightly early, but I was very unhappy with the food.

The house special fried rice tastes great and the special chow mein is not bad just that there was too much Onions, in whice I handpicked. Going through the other reviews, I was initially discouraged but decided to give it a try, the delivery was on time and the driver was nice. Overall great service, I'll order again.

Been ordering from here for years, haven’t ordered in about a year. Thought we’d treat ourselves to a takeaway. Wished we didn’t bother, either new cook or management, the food has really gone down hill. Bland, no flavour. Poor quality ingredients especially the chicken. Obviously frozen precooked from a bag. Absolutely awful. They have definitely lost my custom

I been ordering from here for years and every time I order they get my order wrong even when I leave a note. Then when you call up no care! Then says yes we did take it the way you wanted it yet I still had prawns and chicken in my meal when I ask for nothing in it 🤦🏽‍♀️ There is no care for their customers I need to find a new place to order from! They said they would send a new order but after 25 minutes waiting I called still wasn’t made! Ask me to wait longer thank you to Uber eats I got my money back! Poor service and that place has gone down hill which is a real shame! I was left disappointed and no meal.

I ordered 4 items only received 3 nice quality food really nice pieces of meat in house special chow mien nice chicken buns and sweet and sour chicken balls couldn’t tell you about the rice as it never arrived. I googled the restaurant details to call them to inform them I had no rice they took my post code and said the driver would be back in 10 minutes never happened managed to get a refund from just eat will not be trying this restaurant again good food bad service

Freshly cooked food. Some of the dishes lacked a bit of flavour. Szechuan had a decent amount of spice. Complimentary drink was supposed to be 2L drink but ended up being 3 x 330 ml cans of lemonade. Fudge cake slice included as possible substitute for missing drinks.

No one called me to let me know so I got my order 20-30 minutes late, which normally I wouldn’t mind but I hadn’t eaten in over 24hrs so that wasn’t great. Very good quality food though :)

DO NOT ORDER. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! PATHETIC. Ordered via Uber eats tonight. Appalled at the service I received. Firstly I ordered chips… wedges arrived so I called the restaurant to complain, the managers first reply was… what do you want me to do? Then proceeded to say no one else complains. I asked for a refund, he hung up the phone. Called again as I ordered duck, the cucumber and spring onion were STALE. He said why have i called back I’m just making it up. I asked for a refund he begun shouting telling me to end the phone numerous times, said I don’t want to help you nor do I care. APPALLING SERVICE IM DISGUSTED. I explained I’ve ordered before and it’s been fine hence why I’m complaining today and he said don’t. Just DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE.

Food delicious. Ordered Singapore noodles chicken noodles and prawn toast. Food arrived hot and order done to specification. I stopped ordering from here approximately a year ago as standard had dropped. I will start reordering from yum.sing again and hope it maintains the service and tasty food.

Very disappointing. Satay sauce was the worst I've ever had (onion in an excessive amount of oil, no hint of peanut whatsoever!), the chicken was very salty. The special fried rice and duck rice tasted exactly the same, blend and unpleasant smell.

We recently ordered at Yung Sing (Hayes) and had a very disappointing experience. Which both our meals being particularly problematic. If I could choose half a star I would. Had to wait 1hr 10 mins for our delivery and we only live 20-25mins away, once the food finally arrived the chicken Sui Mai was pink on the inside which is a serious health hazard and completely unacceptable additionally the ribs had hardly any meat on them and were basically cremated. I would personally not waste your time or money on this restaurant.

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Items missing from our order when informed staff showed a lot of attitude over the phone and didn’t even bother apologising or being proactive with a solution. I am really disappointed. Would give 0 stars if possible

Just received my uber eats delivery over 1 hour after I ordered well what can I say. Very very greasy, sweet and sour sauce leaking, crispy seaweed soggy. Had to spit pit the Thai fish cakes wrinkly and rubber chicken satay and sauce was separated with big onion and tinned pineapple. Don't think I will bother trying the free chocolate cake and to top it all off there's a hole inside the lid of one container wheres the food inspectors

As much as I like the food from Yum Sing. I am giving a poor rating on this occasion as the driver delivering my food yesterday was extremely rude. he didn't want to bring the food up to my flat and asked me to go downstairs. when I refused, he hang up on me without saying a word. he then brought up the food and handed it to me without saying a word. whilst I understand parking might be a problem in London, this does not validate rudeness and drivers need to be prepared to deliver under varius c

Terrible driver who argued with me for more than 10 minutes refusing to believe he’d gone to the wrong address. My partner had to run out to get the food from another road and due to the delays it’s cold.

My order never came and they claimed it was delivered after taking £61 I am furious

Requested an order update but none received. Phone number via app was only for Just Eat, not the restaurant. Rang restaurant direct as was advised driver was likely in traffic which felt like just an excuse. Actually received 40mins late and part of order was only warm, not hot. Unlikely to use again.

I could give this place no stars I would. The delivery time was an extra 45 from the time given. Then to top things off they put the wrong dessert in. I'm allergic to bananas and swapped the cream cheese cake for a bonffee pie which could have killed me. The order was made via Uber eats and when you order over £20 you get a free chocolate cake. This didn't come either. So neither my partner or I could dessert. The food is bland with no flavour. Only a few mouth fulls and we had to bin it all. A waste of almost £45 to receive the food late, bland and wrong or missing item. I do not recommend this place at all

Possibly the worst takeaway I've ever had. I rarely leave reviews, even if I have a bad meal I just don't go to that place again. However Yum Sing were so awful I feel I have an obligation to warn others. The food took FOREVER to arrive, 1.5hr approx. When I called I was lied to repeatedly that it was 'on the way', only for it still not to arrive for ages. When it did arrive surprise surprise it was cold. The food was drenched in so much grease I thought somebody had spilled water over it at first. Check pictures.... doesn't that look appealing.... wouldn't even mind if it was dirt cheap but their prices and portions are ridiculous.

It was a Chinese takeaway, we ordered chinese and they delivered a pizza and garlic bread! so I phoned the takeaway and had problems making him understand what had happened. Fortunately the courier was very helpful and spoke to him and they agreed to deliver our order and collect the wrong one. The correct meal was below average and there was no hoisin sauce or spring onions etc with the crispy duck.

I ordered from these place several time one of my favourite place in the area best service and always delivery on time.

I ordered a portion of Singapore rice noodles, asked for a large portion, and paid extra, but the portion was not much more than the small portion. When I went home and opened it, I found that it was only veggies, only rice noodles, green peppers and curry powder! There was no shrimp, no shredded chicken, and no barbecued pork that should be served. The price is expensive but not up to this level. I absolutely don't recommend this place, and I won't order this place again in the future.

Ordered food from this place. They didn't send some items. I called them, they told me the chef put it in the bag, which it was not in the bag. I asked if they could send the items, they said delivery would be 40mins. 50 mins later no delivery, I called them back and they said they don't have any drivers. Don't waste your time ordering from them.

I ordered through just eat, the food was 30 mins late, was the wrong order, was cold and absolutely revolting! The chillie sauce tasted like plastic, the prawns weren't seasoned, and they tasted like cheap frozen supermarket prawns with no flavour! The ribs, were overcooked, with no flavour! This is the worse Chinese takeaway I have ever had in my life! The cooks weren't even Chinese!

Been ordering from here a while but I have noticed it going down hill .my order today wasn't good .all my 3 items had no flavor. The stir fry tasted like it was off .noodles was so tasteless .the salt and chillies tofu had about 6 pieces in the portion

Ordered 4 dishes two of which I took the large option but still did not get much food. Despite being 4 minutes away the order arrived 30 minutes late. The special rice was terrible with little flavour ,tiny prawns and bland chicken. Thai green curry very water sauce with no flavour had old uncooked mushrooms and more bland chicken Would not recommend this place.

Really disappointed with today's meal. Arrived cold and our stir fry was far too heavy on bamboo shoots and poorly seasoned. Have ordered from the Yum Sing for several years but sadly unlikely to do so again.

Ordered a take away that should have taken 30 mins to arrive. 1 and a half hours later, after 2 phone calls, it arrived. The wait would have been excused if the food was good, but it was stodgy and cold. Paid 30 quid and was still hungry because of the small portion size - avoid !

I ordered my food at around 10:20pm Estimated arrival was 10:45-11:05pm My food never came Was told a few times when I rang them that the food would only be a few mins and that it was round the corner On Uber it still said it was on its way at midnight even though the restaurant was shut at 11:30 The people on the phone were rude telling me to be patient and ending the phone on me They then had the audacity so say the order was completed at 1:25am! Never order from here

I really enjoyed my meal, it was very tasty. it is hard to find a place that serves decent vegetarian food. the mock duck was yummy. I used to go to a Chinese restaurant in Ruislip, it unfortunately closed down due to lockdown. This looks like my newest go to place for Chinese tasty food!! I didn't take photos, shame because you could have seen how great the packaging was on the food to avoid contamination plus the appearance was great.

Quite literally the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Meat tasted like rubber and the noodles had no flavor whatsoever.
