Had a bad experience as we just entered the restaurant at 7:50 in the evening it shows that it is open till 9 but we were told that we will be closed soon and it will not good to tell you to eat in 15 mins and she told us to do takeaway. The atmosphere is also not good the staff were all fighting and all i would not recommend it to anyone. As if they are short in staff it’s not customer’s problem to deal with they should be aware about it that they are having customers in the shop and should not be shouting at eachother. Go to any other places there alot but would surely say that don’t go here atleast.

Good place to eat sadly, no toilets for customers to use even if they are desperate and elderly . Only toilets for staff . Means anyone with incontinence issues it's not a place to go

I have ordered a lot from Meera’s, especially their thali’s, the portion sizes are decent and the food taste is very good. They specialise in Gujarati food but they also keep indo Chinese which is where they have gone terribly wrong. I have ordered chilli paneer from them, twice. The first time was simply chilli paneer and the second and most recent was the chilli paneer with chips.. and my god the paneer was absolutely not edible. I almost felt like I’m chewing rubber.. it was that bad. Thank god for the chips otherwise I would be starving. The taste itself felt excessively saucy and pungent. I have had much better chilli paneer in the UK (not even comparing it to India) why does the paneer have to be like rubber.. they do a good job with the paneer sabzis but don’t know what happens with chilli paneer. I wouldn’t not go back to Meera’s but stick to their specialties which is Desi food. Indo- Chinese a big no-no.

I took Chana Masala and Palak Paneer as parcel. First thing is that the taste was really not good and I felt it wasn’t cook properly( I mean the masala). Plus taste of both felt similar except one look slightly greenish because of palak. They are normally good otherwise but they need to maintain the standards. I really felt this time, if I should order again from Meera’s . Second thing is that they charge 10p for the bag where I don’t need Meera’s bag and they should provide normal plastic bags or their own bag without charge as they are asking for 10p which I don’t bother but my concern is that they are charging 10p plus they are doing their marketing of Meera’s by giving those bag.

Not bad actually! Their pani puri & dahi puris are delish & consistent ✅ some other plates like aloo parotha, masala chips & noodles are good too ✅ few gujarati shak as well been tasty so far. Need to try pav bhaji. Indoor seating is limited & kind of casual cafe vibes. Majority of the items have to try in takeaway in which taste never be the same. Bummer. Overall not bad though. ✅ Try it. The food was at best mediocre. The mogo and paneer arrived drenched in the same soy sauce. Haka noodles was terrible. There are better options in Harrow.

All they do is use tomato gravy in dal and same for paneer dishes...no taste at all, and prices are too hyped up and that also for tasteless food.I would not even give 1 star

I had an amazing experience. The customer service was top-notch, excellent environment, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. On bank holiday they were extremely busy but they care about customers. Quick service. I have ordered 3 dishes chilli paneer, aloo papdi chat and veg chow mein. Taste was amazing. Recommend to everyone.

I’ve been ordering from this branch of Meera’s since it was available and I am thoroughly disappointed with a recent visit. The service was excellent and up to par as usual until the order of Chow Mein Noodles came up, we had originally planned to order Super Fry Noodles but upon the recommendation of one of the two ladies working there, we obliged. And choosing to spend, or rather waste my money on a steaming hot pile of garbage disguised as noodles. It was overtly salty, vinegary and somehow managed to be too spicy and yet not at all at the same time, it felt like it was noodles bathed in Ketchup, it lacked everything that makes Chow Mein Chow Mein. I’ve been to India and for a place that touts authentic Indian cuisine, I can assure you Meera’s only makes false promises. When asked to receive some form of compensation through an exchange or reduction of the bill (exclusion of the order we found a problem with), we were met to no avail, with an exchange only offered on the conditions of the order staying in the same sub-section, in this case, noodles. The two women on duty, who offered no meaningful service and were quite trite and rude, instead choosing to regurgitate the same line over and over again, “Sorry, Ma’am, that’s not available”. When we prompted them for any other alternatives to getting compensation for a meal not well-spent, they said there was no formal complaint form, which is appalling considering Meera’s is a well established food-chain and when asked about consulting the manager regarding our unsatisfactory experience, they said their manager rarely visits and only does so sporadically, promising an unstable time slot of after 11:30 for any opportunity to talk to those in charge. I ask for Meera’s to apply some provisions or rectification for when a customer doesn’t like their meal or has an alternative complaint, as human beings we are entitled to freedom of speech and when we pay money to eat somewhere, we expect good quality and should be provided as such. Unless they like losing customers. In the pictures provided, note the reddish hue and the sloppy plating. Not to mention the poor infrastructure of the restaurant itself, the tables were shaky and the chai I ordered almost spilled due to how imbalanced and cluttered (in presentation) the tables were. I used to order £30-40 pounds worth of orders from Meera’s but now, never again.

I accidentally dropped a box of chewra and a little bit of it fell out. Instead of replacing it with a fresh box they insisted I pay for it. For a place that charges quite a bit for their food I would have thought the least they could have done was let me replace the box with a fresh one. Hardly anything fell out. Will certainly not come here again.

Ordered chilli panner..it was soggy and evem thoigh mild it tasted of nothing and was too oily. Not the best service either..I was a new customer but wont be returning.

We ordered food for about 10 people and it was delicious. Everyone loved the food not too spicy and just right. Very tasty will definitely be ordering again

Got a take away from here. The food is consistent in flavour across all the branches and has been since they opened many years ago. Recommend the Chilli Paneer roll and Malia Kofta, which bursts with flavour. Great for Indian fast food style take out.

Today I order two curries, it was so sour in test. Could not enjoy food because they use same curry base..

The paneer roll here was absolutely delicious and descent portion. The staff member Kavita was so helpful in her recommendations and service was excellent. She is an excellent staff member.

Absolutely brilliant samosa chaat and crispy bhajia - ordered on the phone, very helpful with our specific needs in regards to chutney required. Kanta Ben was very nice to help us pack our food as we were taking on a fairly long train journey to Kent. RamjiBhai came out from the kitchen and gave us some complimentary samosas as well, he also gave us very generous portions of chutney as well. Thank you

This was my very first time visiting Meera Xpress and suffice to say never again. I had no idea they were a self-service joint. That bit was fine though. It was the fact they serve food in takeaway containers even when you're eating in that really got to me. On the one hand they preach 'Love All, Serve All', and on the other they are creating so much waste by serving food in disposable packaging. Yes agreed it's compostable waste, but it's avoidable and unnecessary in my opinion and harmful to the environment. Also their food was disappointing. The filling for pani puri was served straight from the fridge. The potato pettice had hardly any filling inside and their biryani was definitely made from frozen veg and quite disappointing. Had heard so much about them being a big shot in the catering space but very disappointed by their outlets. They weren't serving thali on the day or masala chai and staff were not welcoming at all. The one plus was that when I mentioned being vegan and gluten-free, the staff member was good at informing me which dishes were suitable.

The food we ordered for catering was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous and the taste was sublime! 100% would recommend! great job guys.

Did a takeaway. Samosas are good. The pani in the pani puri is lacks the right flavour but still edible. The peas kachori is nice but I prefer the shell to be bit more crunchy. The spring rolls are not to my taste. The website does not give a good user experience.

We briefly stepped in whilst waiting to attend an event in a close by location. We had about 30 minutes at our disposal and wanted to grab some nibbles. We went yo this resturent and asked if they had anything warm that they can serve within 5 minutes which would give us ample time to fully enjoy the meal and still leave in time for our event. The lady on the counter was very helpful and suggested a lovely food options which we thoroughly enjoyed. Also, I must add that we found this place exceptionally reasonable for the food it had on offer. We will surely be visiting this place again.

I usually buy spicy chips from here and the taste is good but recently found a steel like thing inside the chips. I showed them in the store but they were not very helpful and said that it will be refunded but still no action and no refund.

I don't like to say anything negative, but there was a layer of oil on top of the dish and in addition the flavour was not nice. The Samosas were not great either. Had to throw the entire curry dish and half of the Samosas. I will not use the Northwood branch again as it was hard earned cash not well spent.

Order a takeaway for dinner, the dosa was fine, but 3 other dishes are so salty. It just not edible and went to the bin. Such a waste of money! The okra dish was black & overcooked and the vegetables jalfrezie was even worse it just like a thick porridge with no shape of vegetables in it except the green peas.

Worst Dossa I have ever had . Pancake was like a cheap wrap filling was over cooked tasteless potato sauce was watery with no flavour

Awesome 👌. Ordered samosas, which were ready on time and piping hot, and of course very tasty. Green chutney was a delight, and the chutney was very large! Went back later same evening for gughras, which were fresh and just perfect. Matthias tasty and still going, Chevro tasted homemade. We will be going back for sure!

Ok so not sure why it’s only got 3.9!! But Meeras is great! The food is full of flavour.. not doubt can be a tad spicy but it’s not disastrous! We ordered for a small group of people and everyone loved the food. Not to mention we also did a little taster on Northwood before ordering and the food was amazing. Portion sizes are huge!! No complaints. Service is great. No issues from start to end. Everything ran smoothly there were no hiccups. And I haven’t had catering food this tasty before.

I was surprised by the variety of food on offer ranging from dosa to chilli paneer. There were a couple of tables for eating in and food was served in plastic containers or on paper plates. The chilli paneer had a great flavour whilst the lunch set meal consisting of chana, vegetable curry, dhal, rice and ras malai was great value. The Dahl kachori were tasty but the accompanying chutney was watery and tasteless. Overall the portion sizes were generous and the food was of a good quality. I have ordered many times from meera express Northwood. Food tastes delicious. First time I got a chance to dine in and the overall experience was very good. The staff is Indian and very friendly. Provided us menu, gave us time and then took our order. Since it was dine in, and we were not sure if we would add more to the order so they let us pay in the end. Food was freshly prepared and we didn't have to wait too long. Prices are fair too. They also said sell variety of Indian snacks. Even have slush machines! Nothing short of 5 star.

We asked Meera Xpress Northwood to cater for a small family event and ordered Mogo, Dhokra and crispy bhajiya. The food was exceptional as always, ready and piping hot when we collected. Staff were very accommodating as we had to delay the food collection on the day. We would highly recommend Meera Xpress in Northwood for the yummy food and the best service, and always with a smile. Thank you ladies .

Today was my second time of getting a take out thali from Meera’s Express Northwood. I must say I have never tasted a Thali so bad. I was appalled! Beans side dish “hard”, rice grains “dry”, veg side dish had 75% potato and 25% veg! Never again!! The only thing in their favour was that it was cheap - £6.50 for a Thali. But to be honest I would rather pay more and get food I can eat.

I just went in to buy some items. The lady serving had a real attitude. She was quite rude and sarcastic to any questions I had. Meeras need to teach her some manners !

Staff service was fantabulous and the way they were communicating that was so impressive. I will definitely visit this place again. Thank so much for nice food and service.

We were walking through Northwood and just by chance we popped in. Food is very nice and tasty. Highly recommended. We were given paper plates and recyclable cutlery. The food came out in take away containers. Not an issue with us but just something to be aware of. I guess this helps with sustainability and recycling 👍.

Meera's specialise in Pure Vegetarian food, the menu has a lot of variety from Indo-Chinese dishes to delicious Chaats! 😍 The food was really tasty and full of flavour! The Chilli Paneer and Chilli Garlic Mogo are a must try! Loved the mango lassi too🤩However I found the Meera's special rice & noodles too spicy for my liking, even though we asked for medium spicy!🌶️ Meera's also have a wide range of Asian Savoury & Sweets available in store! Would highly recommend visiting if you love authentic Indian food! 🥰

Ordered peri peri chips and paneer shashlik. Both were inedibke, paneer was very undercooked and it was nothing like shashlik. The peri peri chips were like schezwan style nothing like dry peri peri seasoned chips, very disappointed won't be visiting anytime soon. Shame had to throw them in the bin after tasting them.

Food choices are good, but the taste is awful!! Why would you have same filling of Aloo paratha in Vada Pav(not pau). BHEL is full of potato, dahi vada is only dahi - no coriander, no green chutney, no red chilli powder and chat masala sprinkle! How can you serve like this?? Staff was not courteous towards customers and unpacking boxes in front and blocking the way. No courtesy at all in the behaviour. Need a lot to look into the menu and improve taste. If you cannot make North Indian food, do not serve neither keep in the menu. If you are better at Chat, be good in it! Improve it! Wembley street vendors make better chat and serve with a smile on face. A lot of improvement required. Not going here again. Waste of money and time.

A big thank you to Shivani and all the girls at Northwood. I ordered food for a special religious function and all the dishes were excellent and tasteful especially as it was prepared for 40 persons.The paneer tikka masala and chana masala with bhatura dishes were delicious. Shivani made sure that the food was prepared and made freshly only in the morning on Sunday. The food was carefully packaged and hot, ready to eat when collected in the morning. Great service and attention by the girls.

I only ever order aaloo papdi chaat and it has always been good Not the best in the area but good when you need a spice hit Staff are always sweet and helpful I order during the day time so maybe those who have found unfriendly staff (from the comments) can try getting food earlier in the day Quality has always been consistent I prefer the aaloo papdi chaat over the samosa chaat

We ordered a delivery. Having ordered from their other branches before we expected the same. It was an absolute nightmare..some of the food was inedible, bhaturas were drenched in oil..you could get sick if you ate it. We had some of the items ordered missing in the order. So we had curry without naan, bhajia without chutney. When I called the branch to inform them, they continuously said they they put everything in the order. For someone who has ordered numerous times and never had to complain, you would expect they take you word for it. I explained to them and send a picture of my previous orders from them so they know to trust what I am saying. The staff had no care for customers. After another almost 2 hours of waiting we received the missing items, again some of it was appalling…bhajia were burnt, Bhatura was crunchy like a thick papad and send us a paneer curry instead of Malai kofta. You would think they would be more careful. Don’t bother ordering from them and waste your money. Northwood branch needs to get their act together.

What a fantastic service I received from Chainika,Kavita & Shivani .When I placed order online ,for some reason it did not allow me to insert a delivery address . I phoned up and spoke to Chainika, she went out her way an arranged delivery for me even after I paid for the collection only . Food was really tasty and I highly recommand Meera express Northwood.

They need to improve on the hygiene of the eating area . Seats need clearing of crumbs and floor needed a good sweep . Can put people off , if it looks unkempt.

If I could give no stars, I would. This place is terrible. Ordered dinner via the app and chose a buy one get one free deal on collection. Got home to realise 2 dishes were missing. I called to complain only to be told that the person who collected it (my husband) must have eaten them on the way home?! - How utterly ridiculous!! When I offered to go back to pick up the missing dishes I was told the kitchen was now shut - 45 mins before the closing time. I told them that our dinner was ruined and the staff said - word for word - thats not my problem. Escalated to the owner of the shop and there wasn't a hint of an apology or an offer to refund / rectify. I got a refund from Ubereats. I will definitely be voting with my feet and going elsewhere. Shabby service is inexcusable and it says something when review after review, the theme is the same for all customers!!

This was my first time. I’m local to Northwood and wanted to try some typical dishes. The chilli paneer was watery, rubbery and chewy. Impossible to eat and anyone at home can make it far better. The paneer samosas had so much chilli that only one person could eat them. We ordered normal samosas. We didn’t ask them to be spicy! I think better to go to elsewhere a bit further. I’m disappointed as it would have been nice to have a good place near me.

There should be a option for no stars. The customer service is horrible. The food is not of good quality and please don’t ask them to make your curry spicy. If you do they will add a ridiculous amount of chilli flakes.

Unfriendly staffs, over priced. Quote "Get your curry when you are in a hurry", doesn't suit them as waiting time for a curry is atleast 30 min. Dishes are okay. Very crowded. Better order online.

Considering the food at the other branches is so good, I wanted to try their Northwood branch and I was very happy with my meal. From the modern decor with lovely seating areas to the wonderful service and the delicious food! A must try for sure

Terrible unfriendly staff and heavily overpriced menu. Portions are so small. Ordered chilli tofu and the container it was served in wasn't even full. For nearly £7 it's shocking. When I told the staff she was rude and shrugged her shoulders. All the food is extremely oily and spicy.

I visit this area 1st time and i have found this place for eating it is really very very delicious dosa and pizza somosa really a nice experience in service as wells 2 girls are really very nice sorry i forget the name but such a nice neat and very clear place😍🥰

Disappointing experience - Google says closing time is 9:30 pm I walked in at 8:41pm and the staff refused to serve us as they close the kitchen at 9:00 pm. Upon pointing out it was not 09:00pm the lady said that the kitchen closes 15 minutes before the kitchen closes. Upon pointing out it was actually 08:41 she just said we need time to close up. The staff may as well have been putting their coats on and getting ready to leave.

Really the food of the meera express amazing specially the northeood branch interior was excellent . Everyone should go their and must try the indo-chinese dishes. Their is also the eat in options you can go and enjoy with the family.

Meera's app does not work. Placed an order and tried to pay for the order and the payment method doesn't work. Phoned the restaurant , non of the female staff working there new anything about the app. The first person who answered the phone new nothing about the app then a second person came to the phone she knew nothing about the app, after I spoke to the 4th person, I gave up and placed the order on the phone. The staff doesn't seem to know what's on the menu either. When I ordered something I was told repeatedly that they don't have it on the menu. Food is nice, but it's a complete shambles. Staff need more training

Ordered a take away of Aloo Paratha and Paan…and couldn’t be more disappointed. Aloo paratha was simply terrible. Paan was decent, but at GBP 2.5 per paan…was left wondering why?????

Visited the new Meera’s Xpress in northwood. The food was great so was the interior looked very modern. Good flavour and was made to how I like it also has a lot of good vegan options.

Highly recommend trying this place out! Had a brilliant lunch thali, for the very reasonable price of £5.25, which came with 3 different curries and rice and dal puri. Everything very tasty and came quickly. Also tried the pau bhaji which was great. Will definitely be back

Paid £17.13 via Uber for frozen reheated food. Horrible - there are better places. Avoid!
