Yu Hing in Wirral

The best Asian food on the Wirral. We have tried dishes from many places in the area, but none of them have access to this one. Salt and pepper chips and sweet and sour chicken are amazing. This is our subjective assessment. Best regards.

Amazing chippy my favourite place to go. Generous portions and always fresh and tasty. The service is always fantastic and my kids love coming here because the owner is so nice to them highly recommend

We come this chippy all the time but last night was the worst , chips were old fat no taste. Very sharp chips like they've been there all day. Meal was tasteless Very disappointed 😞 chips were discusting there not even fresh or soft and you pay money for this. Had to throw out in the end . CHIPS ARE DISCUSTING VERY OLD FAT. CHANGE YOUR FAT MEALS ARE LOVELY BUT THE CHIPS ARE A LET DOWN

Portion size is large, taste could be better. Too much noodles but not enough vegetables, meat or prawns. There was no spring onions either, which is uncommon. Both pictures are the same item, just different filters. Ended up throwing it in the bin after eating the meat because everything else was tasteless. Edit: Wok In - in Laird Street is my go to now, they do an amazing Singapore chow mein... These guys are certainly rubbish compared to them.

This place is great! The go-to’s are the chips; best I’ve ever had. Curry sauce; top tier for sure The chow mein (wok fried noodles) are absolutely incredible - there’s some incredible smoky (wok-chi) flavours here. For me, this is the best chippy on the Wirral. And whenever I go somewhere else I instantly regret it. She also does some really good vegetarian options. AND last but not least, get a soup; portion’s are huge and match with great quality.

Excellent, old school Chinese chippy with classic menu. Great tasting food, cheaper than all others nearby. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Perfect!!

Nice Meals/Soups/Chicken Wings & Chips cooked from fresh most of time. Best avoided when it’s busy as you can easy be waiting 1 hour + for a couple of Meals.

Great Chinese food from a large menu at very reasonable prices. If you're like me and can't manage a full sized meal they have a small meal option at a reduced cost for the majority of meals on the menu, the only exclusions are the duck and lamb dishes. They recently won a 'Best Chips' award from a local cubs group but I'm sure they could certainly win awards for their delicious Chinese food as well. The Yu Hing isn't the closest Chinese chippy to me, I pass two on the way there but I've found its the best in the area and well worth the drive I make to get there once or twice a week. Very highly recommended. 👍

We made up a banquet and it was very good. Soup excellent, starters good, mains very good. We phoned our order through and only had a short wait, the staff are very good. This was our first visit, we will return

We love this place, my partner loves the mushroom and onion gravy and the salt and pepper chicken and chips. The egg fried rice is fabulous.

Been ordering here for some time and the food is always really good and consistent. Whether its a Chinese meal and starters or something simple like a pie dinner everything I've ordered has been really good. Good prices, portion sizes and value for money. The gravy is also beefy and rich tastes amazing 👌 made myself hungry now 😁

Food is usually great.tonight i orderd donner meat.it looked,smelled and tasted like the imitation donner meat you can buy in bags from iceland stores.not real donner meat. Ended up in the bin.very disapointed...has put me off unfortunatly
