YoYo Chinese Takeaway in High Peak

On holiday up in the peaks and decided to try the top rated Chinese in area. We can see why it’s top rated. From friendly service over the phone, to great flavourful tasting food. I would definitely eat here again, and would recommend anyone else do too.

Always great service, food always delicious, only wish they would deliver but totally understand why not. Never a bad meal from here. 100% recommend.

fair to say for a small town the food is probably the best takeaway as it has hardly any, I can't rate it more than a 3, coming from manchester where its the finest, but definitely will be back soon 😀

Decent food at a reasonable price.

I would highly recommend this little place, always packed due to the quality of the food so I advise you phone your order in an hour before you want it, the only down side is the salt and pepper chips ain’t the best but everything else I have tried over the times has been unbeatable

I don’t get the hype from some people about this place. It was terrible! I think the high peak area in general does not have much to offer with take aways, most are so bad.

Once reopened after their holiday's I found the food to overpriced, the portions were smaller and it’s as if the chef has been changed. Before the break our dinner was always around £22. The same order came back as £31. I can’t afford that for less food and poorer quality.

absolutely love this place, my fav chinese shop to go to always nice and polite and always give us exactly what we ask for, amazingly cooked food and even more amazing staff and customer service i would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking about trying it

Main course was ok. But the egg fried rice was pre made and looked lumpy dry and tasted old and slightly warm. It’s dangerous to serve old rice.

Amazing. Easily the best Chinese take away in the area. Always a treat to get food there - I can recommend the duck in plum!

We love YoYo’s. Ingredients always fresh, spicy 🌶 is spicy. Prawn toast has prawns in it and crabmeat soup has crab too, not seafood sticks. Best Chinese takeaway we have been to. 💕 Lovely staff and owner. Everybody must support this place. Nick & Lisa

The best Chinese I’ve ever had ! Food wasn’t greasy or heavy on stomach the salt and pepper chicken was tender but crispy and the lady working there was so friendly ! Will definitely be back :)

Always delicious food. Gets 4 stars instead of 5 because the collection timings are usually a work of fiction. If they say 40 minutes, give it an hour or more..

First time ordering , only lived here 6 years ! Have to say it was the best chinese we have had in years.

The food here is absolutely brilliant. All fresh and cooked beautifully they seriously deserve a Michelan star for the quality. To be honest I have never tasted a better takeaway.

Excellent food and service. Even when they were super busy on Christmas Eve picked up food on the allotted time. Let them know if you want hot or mild.

Very good food and friendly staff. I would suggest ringing your order through in advance though as the wait at a weekend can be long. However that does suggest it's not ust reheated food and is cooked while you wait.

Nicest chinese takeaway we've tried, much preferred to disley. Great noodles and sweet and sour chicken balls, they are crispy not doughy. Soup was lovely. The only thing that wasn't as good is beef in black bean sauce, flavour too mild but oh liked it so just personal preference. Not cheap but portions are big so good value for money.

Travelled there to collect from the next town after placing the order, and arrived at specified time. Yet still had to wait an extra 30 mins to collect (1.5hrs total). However the food was good and nice portions. They lost a point due to waiting time.

Never had a bad takeaway yet. Very busy on Saturdays. Need to get your orders in early

THE BEST CHINESE I’ve honestly ever had !!

First time we've used this takeaway and to be honest it's the best Chinese takeaway we've ever had. Ordered Chicken and Pineapple fried rice, crispy shredded beef with Thai sweet chilli sauce, salt and pepper chips and prawn crackers and it was amazing. Staff friendly and great service, meal was ready on time, and it was very clean. Will definitely be coming again.

Always a good meal. Good sized portions, good price for value, and always ready at the time they say pick up your food. Only downfall is sometimes they are so busy it takes ages to get through to them on the phone and thata the only way to order food with them. But its always worth the wait

Very good takeaway chinese., Lots of tofu for vegetarians pancake roll and you can add cashew nuts and veg to any sauce. Chicken balls are very good too.

So far, I've only had the salt n pepper chips, but by jingo! They are SUBLIME!!! I went back a few days later & got em again! (Actually, thinking about it, on our first night in Whaley bridge we had a full meal, I had the special chow mein & it was fantastic!!) But I will definitely be back for more S&P CHIPS! (& I'm not normally a chip person, as a rule!) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💜

We moved to the area recently and have been trying to find a good restaurant. We have now found it! This restaurant serves fantastic food and I will definitely be going back.

Really struggled to find a decent Chinese but finally struck gold

This is an amazing Chinese in fact our go-to Chinese. I'd always rather travel here than order and wait in for a Chinese to be delivered! (This takeaway doesn't offer delivery but it is worth the effort, I promise) It has REALLY delicious food whether it's a starter or main! The English girl at the front is always so lovely too (on the phone and in person a great asset). The Chinese girl that used to be on the front used to be very pleasant too!

Far by the best Chinese, Takeaway, The food is gorgeous, i can't fault any of it. Love the salt @ pepper chicken, in ok sauce, and the salt and pepper chips, the kids love them. Highly recommended fantastic service, very welcoming.

Been using yoyo's for just over a year now, order from here regularly, best Chinese takeaway in the area! Can not fault anything I've order! My favourite is definitely the salt and pepper chicken bites! The prawn toast is amazing actually has prawn in it! Wouldn't go anywhere else! 🙂

Four out of the five meals we ordered were wrong. When we called to rectify the mistake, we were told that we were at fault because we "didn't know what [we] were ordering". Remarkably poor customer service. Unfortunately, if you want a decent Chinese, you're likely going to have to go out of the village. New Mills house a few decent Chinese takeaways.
