Delicious food and a really reasonable price. Staff were really friendly and welcoming

Servers were nice but the food was bland and my partners ribs were a tad burnt.

6 of us visited for a family get together, we had a lovely evening, the food was delicious. I had tomato bruschetta, which was lovely and the Rigatoni Filleto which was one of the nicest pasta dishes I've ever eaten. The customer service is excellent.

Loved this authentic open kitchen restaurant so much we went twice in three days! Easy to miss as it's just downstairs into an atmosphere of Italy. First starter we shared Pane Fatto in Casa perfect, followed by the Seafood Risotto. The best ever loaded with seafood. Second time we went we had a starter of Capricorn Pesto (goat cheese wrapped in gilo pastry, baked served with onion chutney and fresh pesto. Main was pizza that was delish. What makes it extra special are the owners Maria and Mario and the best server ever Nicola (? forgive memory for name) If I lived here this would be a weekly place to eat. Thanks so much for wonderful memories.

Revisiting after too long, this is a wonderful restaurant. Great atmosphere, friendly service and amazing food reminded me why I love it here. Very reasonably priced for such high quality food. Entry via quite steep stairs would be a problem though if mobility is very restricted.

Lovely hidden gem, worth walking down the stairs. Friendly welcoming staff that love giving you a nice evening. Great dishes and attention to detail. Really saved the day for us with a most enjoyable dinner experience.

Had a lovely meal here last night with my daughter and partner. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The menu will cater for everyone’s needs whether vegan or vegetarian a lot of choice. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of my food only the dessert. The food is very fresh and tastes delicious had the tiramisu for dessert the best I have eaten was delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food you receive a first class Italian restaurant.

We popped in on Friday evening on the off-chance of getting a table for 4 while visiting the peaks for a long weekend. Wow! We were totally bowled over. They managed to squeeze us in and the food was amazing! Best calzone ever! So of course we returned on Sunday night and asked for them to split 2 calzones - one meat and one veggie half each on each plate. No problem. Absolutely delicious! Cannot recommend them too highly. We will definitely be back! Grazie mille!

Napoli is actually a really nice restaurant we were there celebrating my sisters 34th birthday, the floor staff and kitchen are amazing and very hard working. My experience for this place last night was spot on. Unfortunately no parking but there's a car park B&M you can use for upto 2 hours. Not wheelchair accessible due to the restaurant being below ground level.

Excellent customer service and scrumptious food

What a wonderful find! The food was really good (including pizza, fish, meat dishes) and very reasonably priced - and the staff were brilliant. They made our 5 year old’s birthday meal extra special. The little ones loved putting chefs’ hats on and making their own pizzas! Candles in the cake and singing happy birthday to the birthday boy was a lovely touch too. All the staff were great. Thank you! We will be back.

I recently went for a meal at Napoli having not been for a few years. Lots of mates at the cricket club had recommended it and thought I’d give it a go…..I wasn’t disappointed. I had the slow roast spare ribs to start with some focaccia on the side. The ribs were beautiful and soft, the marinade was exceptional. I then had the Filetto Rossini which I haven’t had at a restaurant for ages. It was cooked perfectly, the base of toast and pate was just right. I went for something different than I usually would and had the Zucchini Fritte on the side - they were really crispy and tasty, a great balance to the steak. On to the desserts and had the toffee pudding with ice cream….. probably a step too far for my expanding tummy but wanted to give it a go. Just what you want from a dessert. Rich and sweet. A great end to the meal. Shame I couldn’t eat it all as I was stuffed. It was a fantastic night, the food was great and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The service from Mario and the team was exceptional too, they were very attentive and friendly. Bravo Napoli. I will be back soon!

Incredible food, best Italian around and good value. Ribs, Meatballs, fried mozzarella, garlic bread, pizzas and pasta dishes are sensational. Puts me in a food coma everytime. Just shed a tear of joy upon eating the Nutella Crumble.

Lovely meal and good service when we visited on Valentines night, however when I requested a coffee with oat milk I was very surprised when the waitress stated they had no "dairy free" alternatives??, yet they have a large vegan, vegetarian, gluten free menu .

My partner and I came here for the first time this evening. We didn’t book and it was very busy, but there was luckily two tables left. The service was very fast and we were out in an hour. Food was delicious, would especially recommend the pizzas. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning!!

Where else to go in Glossop? Nowhere Excellent steaks and sides. The sides are a little bit small. But, if the service is amazing, the location is cosy and the parking is close by then what else do you need. It is after all an Italian restaurant but we didn't have any of the classic Italian stuff. From what I saw everything looked great. Highly recommended.

We visited here for the third time and took a couple of friends who had not been before. They absolutely loved it, as did we. The atmosphere was buzzing, the service was fantastic (nothing was too much trouble) and the food was delicious. Great to have a local independent restaurant, serving quality food with an affordable price tag. Highly recommended.

Great place good value and lovely staff.

Been coming to Naopli in Glossop from over in Stalybridge for about 5 or 6 years now (minor intermission for covid lockdown aside). We first happened across the place when having spent a day at the coast, we didn't fancy cooking and my wife did a search on the Internet and booked us in here. We've probably eaten here 20 times over the last 5 or 6 years and always thoroughly enjoy it. Napoli is a little hidden away downstairs off Norfolk Sq. There is always a good atmosphere and we always leave happy (and full). Food is excellent, usually a couple of additional starter / main course choices on the specials board and an excellent range for carnivores, pescaterians and vegans alike. Most recent visit was for an Xmas eve meal with family, and as ever, the steak, lobster ravioli, chicken risotto were excellent as were the starters and desserts (the home made Tiramisu is a particular favourite) Good job we parked downhill from the restaurant as walking uphill could have been a struggle after everything we ate. Value is very good indeed given the excellent quality. The restaurant is fairly compact but comfortable nonetheless. The kitchen is an open kitchen and the work rate of the kitchen team (which often includes the owner) is unbelievable. Staff are always friendly, helpful and efficient. One of our firm favourites to which we will continue to return.

Littlary one of my absolute favorite restaurants, The Pizza is some of my favorite I have ever had (if not my favorite) and that's saying something when I have eaten a LOT of different pizzas from different places (I am Autistic and Vegaterian so I usually only pick plain pizza anywhere I go as it's a safe food option), Been here a few times and had a good time every time, it's very small space so I wouldn't come on my own due to my anxiety and Autism but when I'm with my partner it's perfect, all the staff are really welcoming and sweet too and everything is always clean which as someone who is paranoid about germs and bugs is a definite win to me, amazing local place if you are stopping in Glossop or even if you already live here and haven't tried it yet :)

Still a fantastic place to eat and always look forward to the next time.

Absolutely wonderful night, meal was perfect, service was amazing and Lauren is an absolute gem! Probably the best server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, friendly, helpful, attentive and an altogether lovely young lady. Can't give the place a higher approval but it deserves 6⭐️ across the board Massive thanks for making my Dad's birthday meal absolutely perfect 🥰

We have been going to Napoli for many years and always have a lovely time there. The food is always delicious and staff are great - we were made so welcome on Friday with our 10 month old baby! The homemade amaretto cake was amazing - one of the best desserts I’ve had!

Tucked down in the basement its hard to know what to expect from the outside but we enjoyed delicious and authentic food served by lovely people.

Visited Saturday evening with friends, food was beautiful had the duck pancakes with mushrooms delish, my friend had the ribeye stake said it was perfectly cooker and the best he has had 😊 staff were lovely and had a proper laugh with them. My friends hadn't been before and both are looking forward to going again 🙂.. lovely place

Fabulous food and service, full restaurant with pretty much one waitress who did a sterling job and kept everyone happy, no delays prompt service. Outstanding food had 3 courses and all fabulous. Nutella crumble for dessert absolutely delicious! Will be back soon!

As soon as you walk downstairs to this cosy little restaurant, you feel right at home. The quality of food matches their genuine joy in serving their customers. Black tie or jeans and a shirt, this is a place that certainly welcomes any occassion. With their incredible service, comes the most beautiful scallops I've ever had... no pictures as I ate the far too quickly... along with the most moarish lobster ravioli. My partner had the lamb with a rosemary and red wine sauce l, this is a place not to be missed! My poor quality photos don't do it justice.

Can’t wait to come back again, the food was absolutely delicious, really recommend the risotto frutti de mar so much seafood and delicious. All food (starters and main) were fresh and hot but more importantly tasty. Staff were all lovely and we will definitely be returning!

I ordered the vegetarian calzone and they put vegan cheese in it instead of mozzarella and wow... BEST VEGAN TAKE AWAY EVER And apparently, the bolognese sauce is incredible as well!

Extremely good service and very accommodating as we didn't book for a Saturday evening. The food was very good indeed, fillet steak delectable, dolcelatte sauce superb, but, the baby San mazarno tomatoes in the salad were on another level!it's the simple things in life that make a difference sometimes, and this was 1 of those occasions👌very highly recommended

Great Italian reserant great food .

Sometimes you just need Napoli's carbonara & nothing else will do. Always happy to cater to any tweaks such as linguini rather than penne. Service is adjusted according to your requirements - in our case we popped in for tea & were in & out in no time. Our quick visit (this time) meant our meal was no less delicious. My husband's meal off the specials board was superb, as was our garlic bread - crispy, buttery & drenched in garlic, & once again their carbonara sated my craving. My only regret was I didn't have time for the gamberoni.....😋😋😋

I've been going to Napoli since the early 90's and it's still brilliant. I genuinely believe they do one of the best calzones anywhere!

By far and away mt favourite Italian restaurant. Exceptionally good food without being pretentious, reasonably priced too but it's really the service that makes it so special. Eating here is like going to an old friends for dinner, you couldn't ask for a warmer welcome.

Good was lovely. The service and atmosphere was amazing. The only thing that I would suggest to change is the drinks menu as there isn't much choice.

We called in here on the off chance they had a table and they managed to squeeze us in. Great food, loads of choice and some cracking wine on the menu. Well worth a visit.

Visiting family and friends the night before a show at the Partington Players Theatre. Been before, excellent staff, service and food. Likely to be a regular stop when in town.....
