YouMi Japanese & Korean Restaurant in Stratford-on-Avon

Un restaurante japonés realmente genial con personal amable y servicial. La comida era deliciosa y fresca. Teníamos verduras de tempura, caja de bento vegetal y ramen de fideos de carne.

Fantástico sushi fresco y a un precio razonable. El personal era muy amable y atento. Volveré a visitar si en la zona.

Parte de la comida estaba bien, pero la sopa de ramen y miso era absolutamente insípida. No hay sabor de stock en absoluto. Muy suave. El fideo estaba demasiado cocido, la cobertura no era fresca. Faltaba totalmente autenticidad. Soy de Japón.

Reservamos una mesa temprano a las 5 y pedimos una variedad de comida: - gyoza de pollo a la parrilla - tempura de cangrejo de concha suave - gambas reales 🍤 pincho yakitori -rollo de salmón picante Pollo coreano Todo estaba súper delicioso. Muy bien presentado y cocinado. El servicio fue amable y eficiente. La única razón por la que no le di a este lugar un 5 fue debido a la falta de bebidas en oferta. Se habían quedado sin Coca-Cola Dietética o agua con gas. No estaba bebiendo y soy diabético, así que mis opciones eran muy limitadas. Tomé el té de jazmín. Volverá 100% de nuevo por la comida.

Un lugar brillante. Un ambiente encantador (imagínate si Muji hiciera restaurantes...) y la comida es increíble. He estado dos veces y solo quiero volver para probar otras cosas en el menú. El tipo de lugar donde te dan FOMO cuando ves la orden de otra persona saliendo de la cocina a pesar de que tu propia comida es completamente deliciosa. Stratford tiene mucha suerte de tener este lugar. Buena relación calidad-precio también.

El tamaño de la porción de Donburi era bueno. La comida sabía bastante bien, pero no estoy seguro de que mi plato cocinado era tan fresco (la anguila era un poco masticable). Podía oírlos usando un microondas en la cocina. Definitivamente comida japonesa para el mercado occidental (no particularmente auténtica) , pero es algo diferente para Stratford. El personal era amable y acogedor, muy atento. El ambiente era relajado - las mesas estaban bien - espaciado, así que no me sentí abarrotado por otras partes.

Fantástica comida. Locales encantadores. Personal maravilloso. California rueda magnífico. Un gran lugar para disfrutar de delicioso sushi y más.

La comida era genial, pero el servicio no era así. Pedimos nuestra comida y como es normal la red salió antes de que terminaran los entrantes, esto ha pasado anteriormente pero la diferencia esta vez es que mi esposa recibió su comida (rollo de sushi) después de que habíamos terminado nuestra comida, a pesar de que le habíamos preguntado tres o cuatro veces dónde estaba su comida. Estropeó totalmente la comida.

Me gustaría hacerme eco de todas las críticas positivas. El restaurante estaba bien diseñado y se sentía tranquilo. La comida excelente. La camarera era acogedora y muy atenta. Es una lástima que no vivamos localmente, ya que este sería nuestro lugar número uno. Gracias YouMi por un gran placer a la hora del almuerzo.

La comida estaba recién preparada y cocinada a la perfección. La calidad de los ingredientes es inigualable. Teníamos pelotas de pulpo y calamares. La sopa de fideos tenía stock para morir. También pedimos arroz y anguilas, y la carne estaba tierna y muy muy fresca. Un poco salado pero cocinado a la perfección.

I cannot believe I have this perfect Japanese restaurant, in my own town!! It is superb!! The quality of the food, is amazing, the staff are delightful and friendly. We have been to the restaurant and we have order it to be delivered at home… It is fantastic either way! The restaurant can get busy and because they have such detailed attention to each dish served, it can take a little longer to get food… but I promise it’s worth the wait! I’m very picky… and this food is fantastic. Great job YouMi 🫶

Popped in by chance on the 6th may, we weren’t sure if we wanted to eat here at first but after having a look at the menu the very friendly waitress told us it’s definitely a place to try we thought we’d give it a shot and she wasn’t wrong at all, the chef did an amazing with the food and the waitress gave amazing service, I would 100% recommend, I even wanted to buy them a drink after to show how grateful and impressed I was but they politely declined. This is a an absolute gem of a place. Went here with my husband and his younger son for dinner one evening and really wasn't expecting the quality of food this place has to offer and great value too. Have been back a number of time of since. If you are after some Japanese while visiting Stratford Upon Avon highly recommend YouMi for quality food and service.

Thought we would drop back in, busier than last time which is great as word is getting out about this place. Again the food and the service were excellent, can't recommend this place highly enough, this is going to be our new go to place in Stratford.

There is a nice selection of Japanese and Korean dishes. Tasty and freshly prepared food with good service. Really pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent restaurant. Can’t wait to return. We popped in here for a quick lunch before the matinee at Everyman cinema around the corner, and were very glad we did. Although the restaurant was quiet we enjoyed it very much. The food was excellent, service quick and with a smile. Try the salmon salad, eel roll, vegetable tempura and spider roll with soft shell crab. Absolutely superb. We saw someone recommended the chicken wings, so we will definitely give them a try. Prices are good for Japanese food and offer excellent value.

Amazing food, fast efficient friendly service. Especially good find on a quiet rainy Tuesday evening. The sushi was fresh and delicious, tempura too, and we are very much looking forward to returning soon!

We happened upon this place at lunchtime on Valentine’s Day and the very friendly waitress wished us Happy Valentine’s Day and brought us complimentary miso soup. I had a delicious aubergine and miso dish followed by excellent sushi and sake. We don’t live in SuA so I don’t know, but I got the feeling Youmi is a new addition to the town. It deserves to be supported and I hope it’s here next time we come back!

Wow! A glorious meal. Everything was perfect - with a special mention to the sashimi and tempura. And a double mention to the mango and choc Mochi (do NOT try and persuade yourself to avoid this pudding……however full you are!). The team were charming - we will return very soon. An important addition to Stratford culinary scene!

We found this little gem as we walked by. Offering Japanese and Korean fare the standard of food is good. We had a ramen and a rice dish and enjoyed them both. We have missing East Asian fare in Stratford-upon-Avon, and glad to know this restaurant is helping to change this.

This is a great little restaurant in Bell Court, not right in the centre but one of the side entrances. Very clean, the people there were really friendly. Now for the food, it is a mix of Japanese and Korean, we didn’t have the sushi but it looked stunning. We had a starter of crispy chicken, one of our friends had aubergine whilst my partner had crispy chicken wings. For the main event my wife had a bento box with salmon, chicken, rice and salad. Myself and our friend went for the katsu chicken curry, the flavours were awesome, the chicken crispy. Can’t wait to go back and try the sushi as it looked stunning.

Visited early Friday, interior plain but comfortable, meet and greet v friendly and efficient, menu extensive and many items photographed to help identify dishes. The food was excellent, very tasty, well presented and good sized portions. We had a super evening, many thanks, we will return.

Our experience was great. The staff were kind and funny. The food was absolutely delicious. My daughter had a nosebleed through our meal and the staff were so kind about it and kept giving us napkins. When we finished our meal my daughters were given a free bottle of lemonade for the journey home. I would definitely come here again.

The food was very good and definitely great value for money! Sushi is often on the pricier side but we found it to be very reasonable and of high quality. The service was exceptional with the staff being very welcoming and extremely attentive.
