Yorkshire Charcoal Fresh in Leeds

DO NOT PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER! I was not aware that this takeaway has now closed and no longer exists.. iv placed an order with them on their site and paid for it via Apple Pay, a company in Stoke on Trent take the payment iv had to contact them and explain the situation now waiting for a refund. Yorkshire Charcoal Still shows as open on google but the phone number is no longer valid either the shop has disappeared very strange . Just BEWARE

Been using these for a while now and never have an issue but yesterday ordered a hot shot there was nothing hot about it and I ordered a chilli sauce it looked like they’d nicked some pots from kfc

Order was way longer than delivery time said so I called and they said would be 10-15 mins but never turned up. Absolutely shocking

I had a barbecue chicken burger yesterday it was yummy and it was a very tasty great combination with a new bun. What beautiful food they provided and customer service.

Awful takeaway. Spent £50 on a New Years order for me and my pals and it never arrived. They claimed to have delivered it but that’s a lie. AVOID!

We didn’t get a delivery but my CCTV recorded the delivery driver being sick on the wall as he left…I wouldn’t want to order from there…who knows what you might catch from the driver!!

Five stars for the chicken tikka naan. Succulent every time. Lovely staff too!

Quite possibly the best chilli sauce in leeds and always prompt delivery. Reasonable value and good variety.

Just pay £25 for 2 cold pizzas thin crust never again the dough was like leather the topping not good do not order from hear

Ordered lamb chops which didn't specify on how many I would be getting but ordered anyway, when they arrived there were 2 in a tray which cost £5.50 I wouldn't mind paying if the quality was right but these had blood mixed with the water from the lamb itsself at the bottom of the tray... Do Not Order!!

Only accept cash not convenient for walk ins. On Foodhub if you can plan to order but crazy no card payments never have cash.

Great pizza (love a crocodile special) and Parms! Sometimes slow delivery but most the time don’t have to wait long and the food is always good. Highly recommend.

Like others, have been using this place for some years - but, lately delivery has taken too long. Last time, ordered giving them an hour from call to delivery, 1hr 20 min later rang them, was on way, 10 min later driver was just setting off. 10 min later I rang, said will cancel order, apparently driver was"just leaving". anoth 10 min it arrived. Was good grub as usual but way too long to wait.

Chicken tika on a Nan or pitta bread. The girlfriend is laying in my bed but I’d rather tuck into this after a long day. Super every time for four years I’ve been ordering

I used to really like this place but the past 2 times the wait has been ridiculous. Today I waited 1hr 15 mins before I rang them and was told it would be a further 20min wait. it did then arrive in 20 mins but the chicken was not cooked in parts and both cans of coke were warm. I expect much better than this

Ist time of using this place. Fancied a parmo all night couldn't get one....then found Yorkshire charcoal. Absolutely fantastic, on time hot & the best I've ever tasted. Ordered a pizza too & again very fresh & hot & tasty. Recommended defo..well done 👦

Pure baba reheated curry from microwave. Burger was raw no cheese dirty salad and warm coke! Daylight robbery.

Omg 1 star is too much for this place!!! An hour and a half wait on the food! Turned up with a bright red korma!!! Wasn't even edible!! Rice was cold absolute disgrace!!!!

With all the restrictions over covid and the need to keep customers safe i would have hoped the staff would have had worn masks. when i went not one of the staff had masks on and when asked why was told they didnt need to as they were working in the kitchen??? but one staff member did say he had a mask in his pocket As everyone know the virus wont go into kitchens. Will never have food from them again

I have spent between £2- 3000 with Yorkshire Charcoal fresh over years of loyalty and the service was always good, in recent times I've recieved the worst customer service I have ever experienced, my last example- once I obtained my order after 3 hours of waiting and after numerous phone calls chasing the order the gentleman over the phone didn't even apologise. , poor service, average food. Strongly advise to not buy from this place.

Order food via their app, it came 2 hours later, all cold, brown lettuce on the burger and a pizza missing. Wouldnt answer the phone. Had to drive out and demand a refund. AVOID.

I have used this place regularly in the past and it was always excellent. This wasn't the case with my last experience. After not using YCF for the best part of a year I ordered food via their website (not Eat Fresh or any other platform). The website notified me there would be a 50 minute wait. After 1 hour 20 mins I called them up and they appeared to have no record of my order. When I asked why, they said it was an issue with the Eat Fresh system. Confirming that I had not used Eat Fresh I was told the food was out for delivery as we spoke and that was why it was not on the system. With some scepticism I awaited my order knowing it was now more than 5-10 mins away. 30mins later, still no food. I called back and was told it was out with the driver as we spoke (again). I confirmed that the food order should be with me in the next 15 minutes and if it wasn't I wanted the cancel the order. This was agreed. 20 mins (over 2 hours total) later and still no delivery. I then called up to cancel the order to be told the driver was on my street as we spoke. This was clearly not the case as I have a good view of the street. I explained that I wanted my order cancelling and my money refunding. I also noted that I didn't appreciate being lied to. The order was cancelled and alternative food arrangements made. 25 mins later the delivery driver arrives with our food. Needless to say I called the office and told them I had called so why was it with me? After all the issues I expected the food to be complimentary with an apology. Instead no apology was offered and the food left with the delivery guy, presumably to be thrown in the waste. Needless to say I will never use YCF again.

Pretty grotty kebabs. Donner had hard bone like bits in it that didn't feel good chomping on. And took over an hour for delivery.

1hr 40min for delivery, food was bland and order was incorrect! First time I've had wet samosas and no tomatoes in a salad!

Good food and service but spicy!

Disgusting! Ordered Mixed kebab on garlic bread. Garlic bread dry and cold, kebab meat undercooked and tasteless, chicken tikka was like rubber when bitten into, lamb was dry and the chips were bland and soft. Straight on bin and never ordering from this place again. 👎

Our pizzas were very dry and felt like they'd just been reheated, almost like cardboard. Not impressed at all.

Never had a problem with this place, food is always on key but a few weeks back and waiting 2 hours foe food is a bit of a mick take!! Especially when we are very regular customers! Then tonight we ordered pizza and it was so bland and very tasteless! Going down hill slowly

How can this place only have 3.7 stars. It's awesome for most options but especially for currys and kebabs!

Never again, used to be good.......Used these guys for years, however every order in the last few months has taken over an hour to be delivered and today I received food which was clearly not what I ordered (which was also late)! Having argued with the ‘manager’ for a good while, and being told it was my fault, I got a replacement of my order with the stipulation that I had to return the original food (with which I had no problem). Never using them again.

My husbands kebabs are lovely! But the curry is not authentic by any stretch of the imagination. I couldnt eat mine. If tasted like badlymade gravy. I could have made better at home with cheap gravy granules and curry powder. Thoroughly disappointed!

Foods great they really struggle to find our house though as we are a new estate.. find it easier collecting

Once upon a time it was fab . Not now , late and I mean late , wrong order , lied to over times so enough is enough.

Waiting over an hour for my takeaway. Gave gave them a call and he said "we aren't coming now because its too far, its 6 miles" I said "well thank you for letting me know"..they then decided to put the phone down. Firstly it's 2.4 miles away, secondly the fact that they didn't even let me know is just rubbish. Great customer service!...

Totally shocking. Took over an hour for the order to get here. It was cold. The meat feast pizza had hardly any meat on it and the spicy chicken had no spice. Do not order from here

Ordered from here this evening..and not the best at all ... We have used them many times without issue but tonight was a joke ... the food was shocking...first they got the order wrong so we rang them to say the pizza was not correct it took them over an hour from original delivery to replace it.. now we are talking early evening and midweek so not that busy.like a weekend... whilst we waited for replacement pizza we are the other items we had ordered. The kebab was cold and greasy and the chips were hard and cold ... the burger was underdone.. my partners pizza was hard and the stuffed crust was inedible.. once my pizza finally arrived it was cold and did not taste nice so in went In the bin .. so overall a waste 0f £22. I would mind so michnifnit was one item that wasn't good but all of it says a.lot I won't be orederimg from this establishment again .. once is enough to put me off

I always order from here via Just Eat, highly recommended
