I had a lunch with my family here. The food was expensive but not bad. The service was not mature. So my review will be mixed.

Very poor service. Drinks came half way through meal. Udon noodles arrived first with nothing else so became cold. No separate table for raw food to BBQ- very unhygienic! No help with BBQ. Plate rapidly became encrusted and black. Bone on meat not cut up so how can you eat this without a knife. Chicken for bbq ins a strange marinade- not nice. Kimchi was good. Otherwise an awful experience. Won’t be going there again. Noisy. Could not wait to leave.

Firstly, the interior is dirty, tables weren’t cleaned properly despite us being the only ones in there, and our drinking glasses were filthy. Service was really poor, and the food was just as bad. The lady serving didn’t know how the menu worked and said she didn’t know whether we needed sides or not with the BBQ dishes; it really was just a plate of tasteless marinated raw chicken, which you 100% need to order SOMETHING to have with your meat. Note that for the bbq plates you need to cook the raw meat on the grill on the table yourself, the lady serving turned it up too high so all the marinade burnt on the grill, we had to ask for a new one as we couldn’t cook the rest. Also, if this meat is called bbq, we would have expected it to have been cooked on a coal bbq? Waste of money. Never returning.

Varied menu. Opted for The yori platter, cook yourself. Service not great, slow. No cold pinot, had to change choice. Had to prompt for water Very smoky in there, minimal air con and door closed, therefore all clothes/ hair smelt like I'd been in a kitchen all day, not great No clearing of plates at all , this was all tables, not just ours. Very little contact with waiting staff.

Having now read a few reviews for this place after going myself I am a bit shocked. Some other reviews mention long waits, bored waiters, dirty interior, however when I went it couldn't have been more different. I have never been to Yori before as I usually frequent places that provide Japanese cuisine. The waiter was attentive and explained how to order using the QR codes on the table and when I pointed out I had never been and wasn't sure what to eat and would rather have a proper menu, he produced one and explained the variety of dishes available. Settling on the set meal menu for lunch, the food arrived quickly. It was hot and extremely tasty and well priced for what I received. I for one will be eating here again.

Food was nice and tasty. But service was bordering on shambolic.

The Pad Kra Prow was very good and just the right amount of spice. Unfortunately, the Mango Sticky Rice was very expensive for such a small portion.

Maharani is my local Indian takeaway, and the only place I order from. Food portions are a good size, everything tastes great and the staff are always so friendly when I go to collect. Highly recommend!

I used to like Bridges a lot but I've been disappointed by the value recently - I had a slither of a slice of cake and it cost £4.20. A slice 2x the size would be £2.20 at Caffé Nero (so about 1/4 of the price). I know Bridges cakes are delicious, homemade, etc. but when you pay as much as £4.20, you don't expect a mean portion. I'd probably choose a different local café next time. A big shame, though! Also worth mentioning that there's no customer w.c.
